I was still in my room, all cooped up on my bed. My eyes were dewy and I felt weak all over. Ever since that break up with Joseph, I can't seem to get over him. In fact, I'm falling even deeper for him... Although I was the one who initiated the breakup, not one bit of my body, my mind, and even my soul was enjoying it. I felt trapped. 


But when I heard Emily say that Joseph would be in the upcoming match, something just took over me and I just had the urge to join. 


Even if I broke up with him, I missed him so bad and I just wanted to go to the other side of the manor and hug him. I want to say he's mine and nobody can take him away from me. But alas, I'm way too weak. I wanted to stay by his side and be there for him. I wanted to be the person he sees after he finishes his matches. I wanted to be the person to be there for him.


But... It seems that this is how fate makes a fool of me.


"Joseph..." I mumbled while tears fell off my cheek. "I miss you..." I added before quietly sobbing again. 


After about a few minutes, I finally stopped crying and wiped my face. I put some light make-up on to cover my swollen eyes. 


I  had to look for him. I needed more information. 


"Huh? I get to play Duo Hunters?!" I exclaimed in shock, apparently, Jack hid this secret from me.


"Jack said you could play Duo Hunters but your damage would only do 1 instead of your normal one." Michiko explained.


"Ah... I see... That makes sense. But why would he suddenly allow me to play Duo tho? I thought I wasn't allowed?" I asked while shrugging my shoulders.


"He said that you could at the very least, try it once." 


"Oh..." I murmured. I, however, still had my doubts. Why would he suddenly let me play Duo when I just fought with him? There's surely something suspicious going on here...


"Oh, if you're wondering when he said this, it was about 2 weeks ago." 


Oh. So it wasn't when I just fought with him... But still, I'm not sure about what the man was planning so I decided that I would just go along with his plan and see what he was up to.


"Oh right, it'll be 2 weeks from now." Michiko added before her lips curved upwards.


"Alright. I got to go. I'll see you later." She said before waving her hand and floating away.


I nod in acknowledgment and was about to go back to my room when I heard a familiar voice.
