my escape attempt

When I woke, I was laying in the most comfortable bed I have ever been in. I had not opened my eyes yet since I could hear others talking in the room with me. "He is weak are you sure he is the heir?" a woman's voice asked," he has the mark of the madrune . You can clearly see it." Said Agomar. "yes, we see it but they created fakes before are we sure it was not a mistake due to how they cast the spell. How can we be sure?" an old man's voice asked. "He opened a gate without a keystone! "growled Agomar. Never known a fake to do that, have you Seig!?, "How often must I remind you, you drunken ox my name is Siegfried of Cantransia! " shrilled the old man with an indigenous tone. Agomar and the nameless woman laughed heartily at the old man's indignation at an unwanted nickname. The mood had lightened in the room as the trio continued in hushed tones their voice faded as they seemed to move out of the room. I did not open my eyes until I heard the sound of a door closing.

When I opened my eyes, I saw what appeared to be wood rafters in a log cabin. I turned my head to see the rest of the room and felt dizzy from the motion. My head throbbed but I would not allow it to deter me from my goals. I continued to try to observe the room. Next to the bed on my right was a rough night table it was simply a chunk of wood cut out with rough branch's for legs. Upon the hastily constructed night stand was bottles of different colored liquids some even glowed in the dim room. I tried to lift my head to see the rest of the room and my vision started to darken again. I paused and took a deep breath. I steadied myself and continued lifting my head I scanned the room further and was no more aware of where I was then I had been when I saw the night stand. The room was sparse and small there was the bed I lay in and the night stand and I believe I saw the top of a trunk at the end of the bed nothing else it was of simple wood construction and only a small window next to the bed. The only other exit was the door across from me.

At this point the best choice that I could make for myself was to make a break for it, or at least I thought that was the best course of action. I was injured, kidnaped and had a foggy memory of being attacked by a strange woman on the metro. I wanted to get out. Get home and hide under my blankets in bed for the rest of my life or a least until the craziness of the day had passed.

When I started to try and rise from the bed, I felt the sharp pain blaze through my head and down my body. It felt like a piano had been slammed on my head like they do in old cartoons. I fought back the urge to scream. Then I felt my stomach turn. I knew that this was not going to get any better. That I needed to force myself to move. I ignored the pain and continued to force my body up. Using my arms to propel myself to a sitting position. I felt bile raise in my throat once I had managed to achieve my first goal of sitting up, I scanned the room again. There was still nothing miracles about this room it was simple and spares. I turned my head to try and see out the window to my right but my head started to swim when I turned my head to far. I saw blackness around the edge of my vision. I fought back the feeling and continued my slow journey to stand. As I went to move my legs I could from the door someone approaching. Feeling rushed and not wanting to be caught again I tried to throw myself out of the bed. As I pushed with my arms, I notice my lower body was not responding. I tried to adjust myself but it was far too late for that. I had pushed too far and was falling face first to the ground. Just as my face connected with the floor in stepped a gorgeous woman. She had wild wind-swept curly honey blonde hair. Her hour glass figure was athletic as if she was use to hard work but was not overly muscular. But her Eyes they were this light blue like a winter's days after a snowfall. I must be dreaming I thought as my world went black when my head connected with the floor. No way could such a beauty exist in my life at least not in the flesh.

My world was dark again as I felt my conscious return, I could hear more talking but everything was muffled I could hear three voices again. It was the same three as before I could hear the three of them arguing again but I could not make out the words. They were in the room with me this much I could tell. Then I heard someone move closer to me and I felt some soft hair brush against my face. It must be that beautiful woman I thought. Is she this close to me that I can feel her hair brushing against me? I pictured a scene from a romantic film I once saw on a failed date about a guy waking up from a coma and beautiful girl peering at his faces close enough to kiss. for some reason I wanted this moment with this girl. I wanted to be able to peer into those beautiful bright eyes of hers. So, I forced my eyes wide open to take in her full beauty. there was an old man inches from my face his long beard was against my checks. I could feel his hot breath on my face as he was examining me closely. He was shocked by my eyes opening and me from seeing this gnarled old man this close to me I reacted by trying to move my head and he did as well and our heads collided hard with loud sound like slamming your fist into your palm. Both of us began cursing as we clutched at our respected foreheads.

I heard laughter coming for the doorway to the room it was light and melodies like birds singing in spring. Along with a deep Baritone laugh that reminded me of a rushing river strong and proud. "Well Seig looks like you have the magic kiss that woke our sleeping Damsel." Agomar blurted between fits of laughter." Shut up Agomar, he surprised me is all!" the old man retorted. As the pain subsided in my head, I was able to make out the two in the doorway was Agomar and the attractive girl from before. I felt embarrassed and angry," what the hell is going on and Were the hell am I?!" I shouted. My voice came out more commanding and deeper than it had ever been before in my life. I was far more shocked than anyone else by my voice. The room sobered quickly after my outburst. I tried to set up again and a strong hand stopped me. "Slowly, "said Siegfreid," forcing a gate the way you did without a keystone is very taxing on one's spirit and body, so much so that I had to use a vitality stone and force you to except Natu'lia gift to keep you alive."," I had to create a bridge to your arch well for you so it will take time for you to grow use to this body and access your mana reserves properly again." Siegfreid continued. "what?!" was all I could cough out as I tried to decipher what this old coot had stated to me. "Arch Well?" what do you mean and Who the hell is Natu' whatever?" I stammered "Where the hell am I?!" I demanded again. It was the girl that spoke," You are in Elderiumia the 3rd world of the great elven King Lieotha." She stated with a tone that stated I should know this as she turned away and walked out of the room.
