Chatter and Discoveries

"Hahaha.. you should've seen his face. He will throw a tantrum next time I see him." Nicholas's voice sounded in a red wood-paneling room.

"I'm sure John is going to relive this for a long time. He even mentioned Orlando?! Hahaha" Replied a man just about 30 years old, with light skin, and dark hair. He was currently wearing casual dressing.

The room that they were inside was a common office. Nicholas was seating in front of a desk as the other man hosted his visit. Nicholas was relaxed and very careless. The other man seemed the same.

After calming the laugher, Nicholas relaxed even more as he addressed the man.

"Yeah, good trolling on John. But I'm serious, Andrew. I like the kid. At least my first impression of him was quite good. And about the experiment that I had going. Did you find a substitute?" Nicholas asked.

"Well, I've. Though some adjustments will be necessary. Are you sure this is alright to play with?" Andrew asked back.

"Of course. I believe you will enjoy it as well. They won't even see this coming. Haha." Nicholas laughed once more.

These two kept talking for a while. Nicholas only left in the evening. He had other things to do.

As Nicholas walked through New York, he looked around. After appreciating the lots of buildings in view, he started to walk straight to Mott Haven, Bronx. A place preferable to eat, where you could find some thugs to feed off of, and no one would miss them.

Though not really a necessity to go outside and hunt his prey himself, but he likes to do it, and when in the mood, he enjoys it. To play with the food, see their eyes as they die. It excites him.

At the area, Nicholas surveyed a little and found some thugs around to eat inside an alley. While eating, he saw something interesting. In a warehouse close to the main road, he could see a few people walking in and out. That would be okay, if not for the kind of individuals that were in the place. They wore mostly black, and at this time, it's improbable that they are working especially in the dangerous neighborhood.

Though really far away, it wasn't a problem to see that far. A vampire's sense is amplified many times when turned, and as they get older and accumulate their power, it improves tremendously.

Deciding to approach the group, he walked through the shadows around, already noticing that a few of them had gang tattoos and were carrying guns.

There were 7 gangs in New York City currently. The one these thugs represent is called Bad Angels. They do a lot around the city, from drugs, auto theft, extortion, sometimes even assassination. They aren't the biggest and are not dreadful enough compared with some organizations.

Another interesting fact is that this one person with them carried a different behavior. This dude was wearing a top hat like it's the 1800's. He also wore a khaki overcoat with a black shirt and black pants. He looked completely odd in the mix of people around. His face was covered by a type of ski mask. He was completely unrecognizable, even his hands were covered by leather gloves.

Nicholas used his abilities to jump really high and on the roof of the warehouse, he applied careful pressure on the metal ceiling, careful enough to not make noises while he opened a hole in it. He took a peek inside and decided to get in. He used the support beams to stay up above but having a clearer view of the place.

The warehouse was divided into some shelves, but they all created a path to a separated room that was set up by a white tent.

Dropping down on one of these paths, Nicholas walked to the tent. Arriving close to it, he realized that it's actually a lab, and just moments in, he saw the odd guy enter the tent.

There were no windows to make it visible, but a vampire has its ways.

Inside the tent, the odd guy arrived and immediately started to work. He wore a lab overcoat and proceeded to gather some ingredients to start the concoctions.

This was a drug lab. At one side, of the lab there was a huge cauldron with leaves inside it, a mix of chemicals was being poured on from one side. The odd man was mixing other types of chemicals inside the other containers. One of the tubes was connected to a set of big gas containers.

Nicholas was really impressed with the lab and the odd man. This lab was producing mainly three drugs. Cocaine, MDMA (Ecstasy), and Methamphetamine. All being administered by the odd man.

"This is truly marvelous." Nicholas's normal voice sounded inside the lab.

The odd man turned around calmly and looked at the figure that just entered the tent. A tall young man, wearing black clothes, black hair, and blue eyes that shined a dim red light that made his figure frightening and charming at the same time.

"And who are you?" An aged singsong voice left the masked odd-man's mouth.

"Well, I'm just a visitor passing by, don't mind me." Nicholas said as he walked around careless, as if taking a walk in the backyard of his house.

"Although, I have to say. This is pretty good. You have the genius type of talent for Chemistry, the lab is also strategically set up. The toxics that leak the tubes are directly collected to gas tanks. This helps a lot in the disposal. The mix as well, it's really good." Praised Nicholas.

The odd man just turned around and kept cooking the drugs, as if Nicholas presented no danger to his operation.

"Hmm.. I presume the vans parked outside are to retrieve the tanks, but that leaves the location for disposal. Not everyone can make a disposal site. Maybe they just discard it in the air? Probably not, that might leave some traces and the ambient would have to be controlled." Nicholas spoke out loud his thought, also disregarding the odd man.

Coming up with an idea, he walked outside the warehouse. He looked for one of the drivers.

His figure made the thugs completely alarmed as no one had a clue of who the hell the man was.

Nicholas walked around and looked at one of the thugs. He arrived close to the person and put his arm around the guy's collar, which left the latter even more alarmed.

The thugs finally reacted, one of them pulling his gun, a handgun.

"Who are you, what the hell you think you are doing?" The man asked with a grave voice, his hand already on the trigger.

Nicholas looked at him and laughed. The guy surely was different, even when compared to the thugs he dealt in this morning, his demeanor was completely different, he was controlled.

The Vampire's eyes flashed a yellow light as the guy pointing the gun let it drop to the ground. The others were even more worried.

Nicholas didn't even care as the rest of them pulled their guns.

He looked at the guy still under his arm and spoke in a friendly, appealing tone.

"What's up, friend? Mind telling me where you guys leave the disposed gas tanks?" He spoke with a smile on his face, just like he asked which time is it.

"I can't tell, you know. Boss would get rid of my ass." The man spoke, although nervous, but he spoke the truth.

"Yeah, I get it. But you would really like to tell me, don't you?" Nicholas spoke, his eyes flickering red for a moment.

The guy looked blankly at nowhere in particular as he started to murmur the location where they dispose of the toxins.

'Interesting.' Thought Nicholas as he heard the answer.

He was about to walk away when one of the guys holding a gun stepped in front of him.

"Ahhh, yes. Almost forgot about you guys." Nicholas spoke.

His body suddenly flashed, and the only thing you would be able to see is a silhouette and red eyes passing by. The thugs pointing their guns dropped to the ground holding their heads as immense pain invaded their minds.
