Definitely an interesting zombie apocalypse book to read. Each character, especially the main character has a very unique personality that it would be normal to call him crazy except it is not, reminded me about the story about the arc boat in the Bible. The story is over unique as the MC takes a very relaxing approach to the situation. I'm keen to see what will happen next.

So far the story seems interesting - the concept of a doom prepping grandpa is unique and the fact that the family reacts how they do and the strain his obsession puts on their relationships is written well and isn't overbearing. I personally find it hard to like some of the characters, they're not hate-worthy - and them having flaws is a good thing, god knows we don't need them to be Gandhi. Some of the names are a bit weird - I'm sure I'll get used to them but they definitely stand out.

The story is really good if you want a story about a family in the apocalypse then this is for you the man character is a 65 year old man who has been preparing for the apocalypse most his life his family is strong by themselves and may be stronger than the main character. Honestly if you want a good story with miseries aplenty then this is for you.

The synchronisation of feelings between main character and the reader is incredibly good. The build up made me excited for the apocalypse like i waited for it my whole life. Planning strategy for the survival is also inpeccable, the main character knows his stuff on survival. A*
