The End Is Nigh

A bloody beaten down Zeus appeared a while later, his once boisterous vigor, deflated from a resounding defeat.

The remaining gods with heads held low, accepted their loss. Concerned looks were shared between them when they saw the rest of the Celestials move.

Tired of the game, They each raised their massive hands ready to end it all.

Suddenly Gaea appears from a swirl of leaves, dirt, pebbles, and twigs, between the Gods and the Celestials.

"Please, I beseech you, don't do this, I know what I've done wrong and I promise that it won't happen again, I'll do better! Just please don't kill my descendants!" Gaea cried out, falling to her knees. Unable to take the entire destruction of her family, despite how little she seemed to care during their wars among each other.

There was a momentary pause as the Celestials secretly conversed with themselves, and then their hands lowered.

The Red Celestial waved his hand wiping out the Deviant remnants who managed to survive Zeus's purge. It seemed they forgot their warnings of the past and resurfaced once again to cause trouble for the humans.

One of the Celestials then vanished, appearing over the city of Lemuria to further punish and cull their numbers, reminding them of their place, but careful not to wipe them out. Not wanting to trigger the Fulcrum's notice and have their hidden experiment discovered and wiped out by the Horde, to say nothing of what he might do to them for their backdoor schemes.

Then the Gods started to disappear one by one, banished from Earth back to their realms. Sealing off the inter-dimensional passages between the god's realms and Earth.

"Thank you, thank you, you won't regret this, I promise you that," said Gaea most graciously, understanding everything without them having to communicate.

Ignoring her, they begin the necessary changes and fixes that they deemed fit, including sending things like the sea of monsters back to their proper place. Taking off once completed.

"They're gone, they're actually gone, I can no longer feel them, nor the contract. I think they're really gone. The Celestials did it, they freed us!" A shocked Thena cried out. Unsure if she should be grateful, which she was, or saddened at how little they seemed to care about their Eternal children who they didn't even bother to acknowledge. Leaving them without a care of whether they would do their jobs once again or not.

Thinking further did they even actually free them, or was it just a side effect from banishing the gods, she thought with a deepening frown. Did they even care about them, did they ever care about them in the first place? Or were they just created for the sole purpose of doing their bidding?

Theoric feeling unwell took a step back as he processed what he witnessed. Hearing a call from Sigyn who was still clumsily talking through the ring at the same time, managed to put a grin on his face.

"Theo?"

However, turning around, he sees he isn't the only one feeling unwell. Rushing over while dropping the barrier.

"Sigyn! are you alright?" He asks.

"I don't feel so well, it feels like part of me is trying to split away," she says swaying into his embrace.

"Woah, easy these, you'll be fine, you missed quite the dangerous show, the gods were banished from the planet, including Odin, believe it or not."

"King Odin was here?"

"He was."

"What was he doing here?" She asks as the other girls stirred awake.

"Something foolish."

Her eyes widened, having never heard him talk about Odin in such a way before,- "Theo!"

Theoric chuckled,- "It's fine, he's gone, but from what I gathered, it looks like we will be too, shortly.," he says with a grimace, along with Sigyn.

"Theo, what's happening?" She asks with a hint of fear in her voice as the other girls got up quickly, running over to see what's wrong, followed by Grani.

"Nothing to worry about, it seems that whatever banishing power that was unleashed on the world to rid it of gods and the like is affecting us as well, we'll likely be sent back to Asgard."

He continues,- "It's strange it hasn't already happened, maybe because of our unique blessings, and possibly my shielding, it's having a bit of trouble deciding if we can stay or not, though don't get your hopes up, I think we'll be getting kicked off shortly."

Now he knew what happened to the gods, but that didn't explain why Asgard could still go to Midgard from time to time in the future. Maybe it was because the Bifrost was a combination of magic and science. Maybe it's because Midgard and Asgard were connected through the world tree, and the rare convergence that happened from time to time helped. Or maybe it was just because the Celestials only took into consideration true gods and not aliens who are visiting that possibly crash-landed or summoned, not expecting them to be able to make their way back easily. Only taking care of sealing the realms directly around the planet and not off in another part of space.

Catching that last part of what he said pulled Thena out of her dark thoughts. The one person to have helped her in a very, very long time was being sent away.

"You can't leave, I just started getting to know you," Thena said without thinking.

Theoric smirked while Sigyn cracked a grin, and Nina raised an eyebrow.

"She's right, you can't go, what will I do without you?" Asked a devastated Lydia while Nina turned pale at the thought.

Feeling a tug, Sigyn looks down at a sad Grani,- "Mistress will leave me?" he asks, causing Sigyn's eyes to water as she reached down to pick him up and hug him.

"It's not that I want to leave!" Sigyn cried,- "Theo, is there nothing we can do?" She asks as the waterworks start.

All eyes turned towards him, his back suddenly feeling sweaty,- "Uh, well I mean, they banished all the gods, there's honestly nothing I can even hope to do, I'm sorry... But this isn't forever, I promise we'll be back, so until then you'll have to remain strong, can you girls do that for me?" He asks.

The girls nodded through tears and sniffles as they all embraced in a soothing group hug, using his powers to help bring a calming atmosphere.

Theoric and Sigyn then took the time to more intimately say goodbye to each of the girls. Telling them once again to hang in there, stay strong, and that they will definitely be back for them.

Thena watching from the sides felt a bit awkward, and a little strange, seeing him go around comforting and kissing the girls goodbye. Her eyes never left him as Sigyn told Grani to keep them safe until she gets back.

Making a decision, she slowly reaches up and removes the golden mask as a gasp escapes Sigyn's mouth.

Nina couldn't help but think that Thena had a face that Aphrodite would be jealous of.

"I would like to personally thank you for all you've done for me, you have no idea how much you've helped me, I've been lost for a while now, and in some ways still am, but meeting you and seeing what you're willing to do for one another, how much you care for one another, is truly beautiful," Thena said giving her truest most heartfelt words.

Theoric gradually approached her, growing in confidence when she didn't pull back, eyes locked to one another,- "May I?" He asks, reaching for her hands. Taking them within his own as she quietly gives consent with a nod.

His thumbs rubbing the back of her hands gently,- "I don't know everything you've been through but know this, you don't have to go through it alone, I know this may sound a bit funny when we're about to be whisked away from each other, but if you'd like, I, no, we, wouldn't mind if you wish to join our family, we can be there for you, we can help you, as we've done for Nina and Io. I would love the opportunity to get to know you better when I get back if you would have me."

As soon as he finishes, she leaps at his face, unable to hold back any longer, locking lips with one another. Wrapping arms around her, Theoric wastes no time taking full advantage of the opportunity, seemingly more desperate than she who was doing her best to take what she could before he left. Turning into a wild sloppy kiss as their tongues explored everywhere while clashing with each other.

His hands never idle, roamed her body, though the armor left a lot to be desired as he resumed sucking on her magnificent big gorgeous lips.

Finally breaking away with a last few sweet kisses, he reluctantly pulls away.

"Ahem, having fun are we?" Asks an intently staring Sigyn just to the side, almost causing them to jump.

A bit flustered, Thena didn't know what to say after making out with her husband right in front of her, but that thought soon left her.

"No fair, It's my turn!" Sigyn exclaimed impatiently, springing on Thena. Like Theoric before it was the first time she wanted something other than tits first. This makes Thena grin who was eager for more as she took Sigyn's face with both hands kissing her as they begin to passionately make out.

Theoric seeing the hot interaction wishes they could do more,- "As fun as this is, it'll have to wait for later, I can feel our time nearing."

Sigyn whines,- "Aw, it was just getting good."

"I think I would like that," Thena says licking her lips excitedly, just about driving Theoric and Sigyn into a horny frenzy which makes her giggle as she sees their lustful gaze with no idea what the ramifications would be for when they meet again.

"Careful now," Theoric half-jokes while holding Sigyn back,- "Make sure you take care of your sisters while we're gone Thena."

"Don't call me that, my real name before it was forcibly changed, is Azura, and I'll make sure nothing happens to them, you have my word."

And with that acceptance, a tattoo ring forms around her ring finger, bringing no small amount of joy to the two Asgardians.

Theoric then lifted her hand showing it to her while speaking through it,- 'Your one of us now, welcome Azura... Take this, it'll help keep you safe as well as allow you to deal with Nina if she has one of her uncontrollable angry moments so you don't turn to stone,' he says removing Athena's amulet and handing it over since she was the strongest and best bet in protecting the other two. Getting one last comment out,- "Wait for me, I'll be back."

Azura clutches it to her chest tightly as they begin to vanish, promising him,- "I will."
