FOREVER

Yago held his forehead as if having a headache. What's wrong with Tiger? It has only been a few months and he has already turned dumb?

"No... This call is from hell." he answered sarcastically. "Of course I'm alive, stupid!"

Tiger nodded. That's his boss alright! Cruel and unforgiving. But he surely missed this devilish boss!

"Sir, how are you? Young Miss cried for you a lot. She missed you so much! She'll be very happy to know you're alive!"

She missed him? Yago was silenced by those words. He felt warm in his heart. He missed her very much as well. It's just that...

"You can't tell her." he whispered.

"Sir?" Tiger was having doubt if he really heard Yago right. "What did you say?"

"You can't tell her that I'm alive." he repeated. "Don't ask why. Just continue on your job..."

"Yes, Sir." he answered though he didn't understand.

"Alright. How's Arianna?"

Tiger's face became pale.

"Right! I almost forgot about the distress signal. I'm going to check on her now!" he said in panic.

"Distress signal? You chatted with me while Arianna was in trouble?" Yago roared.

"It was you who called me..." Tiger mumbled while running towards the bar.

"Hurry up before I send someone to kill you!" Yago kept yelling through the ear pods Tiger was wearing. He took off the ear pods before continuing to scold his boss in his heart.

"If the lady boss finds out you're such a devil, how would she still like you? How did I even had the idea he was calling from heaven!"

Tiger dashed towards the bar but was stopped immediately at the door. A burly man stood in his way saying the establishment was currently close and no one was allowed to get in. Just when he was trying to fight his way in, a woman's voice called out to him. Her expression was cold but she looked unharmed.

"What are you doing here?"

she asked with eyes full of suspicions.

"Miss, are you okay?" he asked scanning the woman from head to foot. There weren't any visible injuries. She's alright, isn't she?

"Why wouldn't I be?" She asked as she passed him by.

"Well..." he mumbled, thinking of something. He then ran to catch up to her. "I dreamth last night that something bad happened to you." He thought to say as an excuse.

Arianna stopped walking. Last night? She then nodded without looking back.

"You're right. Something bad really happened last night. But that was last night. Why are you coming to my rescue just now?" She said that before Arianna continued walking towards the parking lot without looking back at Tiger.

Tiger was stunned by Arianna's answer. 'Miss, I was here last night too alright? I just didn't dare show my self. If I wasn't here, who else was going to protect you?', he said to himself. He did't know what would happen if he wasn't able to send help to her on time last. Perhaps the call from the boss this morning would be him saying goodbye to this subordinate for the last time. He might be feeding him to the sharks right now, skinning him alive, or dismembering his body by cutting it into a thousand pieces.

Tiger shook his head as he watched his lady boss's car drove farther. He wondered why his boss would want to keep his whereabouts, and the fact that he was still alive a secret. Could it be that there's danger lingering around them? It's very likely as the culprit in his assassination wasn't caught yet.

Arianna asked the chauffeur to speed up and head home. Today she was supposed to head to the office to take care of a few matters but after the show she just watched, she suddenly didn't want to go to work anymore. With her current mood, she'll only hinder other's work as she turn to the devil queen in action. In that office, her villainous character during work hours was already well-known. She didn't want to keep reminding them unnecessarily either!

As Arianna was climbing up the stairs, her phone vibrated a bit as a message was sent to her. She decided to ignore it though because of her bad mood, and continued heading up to her room to rest. She lacks a good sleep anyway. She was already lying comfortably on her bed when her phone suddenly rang loudly making her more irritated. As she got up to cancel the call, she saw her sister's name on the screen and soon changed her mind. She pressed the call connect icon and was instantly greeted by her sister's lively voice greeting her.

"Hey Belle. You sounded happy. Something good happened?" Arianna calmed herself and made herself sound nonchalant.

"You haven't seen the message?" she heard her sister ask.

"Oh... that was from you? I was resting and I didn't feel like checking my phone just now. Wait a minute while i check."

Arianna scrolled down her phone's status bar and checked her notifications. The mail was indeed from Belle. It was a photo of her and Jayden on bed while they were cuddling naked. She narrowed her eyes in disgust. So dirty...

"I've already seen it. So what about it? Did you go for a second round?" she said, trying to annoy her sister on purpose.

Second round?

"What do you mean?" Belle asked, confused. She just called to annoy her sister. Why was she acting strange just now?

"Nothing. I don't mean anything by that. How about you? What do you want to achieve by sending me your private photos? Aren't you afraid I might spread those online, which would tarnish your reputation once again? I'm sure dad won't mind sending you somewhere more remote this time?" she stated before laughing out loudly.

Belle ended the call without saying goodbye. She must really be furious, right? Too bad Arianna can't see her angry face right now. Who told her to challenge her like this? Did she think she can won over her this time? That she'll sit and cry in a corner after she finds out she hooked up with Jayden again? Well, she'll show her just how tough she is. She's Arianna Reid, and she's a queen by heart!

Putting her phone back on the table, Arianna noticed the small box on the table. It was the ring that Jayden gave her which she wore during social events. She didn't want to see it anymore but she can't return it just yet either. She can't reveal her cards all at once. That would be stupid. Let them live blissfully in the dark. One day, they won't even know how they died nor who killed them.

Arianna pulled the top drawer of the table and picked up the box to put it away. Just as she was about to push the drawer close, she noticed a black pouch in a corner of that drawer. She took it out before shutting the drawer close.

That pouch...

Arianna opened it and took from it a block box, the same size as the one she put away just now. For a long time, she refused to look at that thing as it brought back many sad and painful memories. Now though, she was suddenly feeling the urge of wanting to see it. She opened the box and stared at the ring inside of it. absentmindedly, Arianna took the ring and wore it on her finger.

"Yago loves Rian.... forever..." she whispered in a daze at she stared at her ring finger.
