Chasing Aiden Wang

Thanks to the traffic jam, Victoria managed to be in front of the company simultaneously with Aiden's arrival. She silently cursed under her breath and made a vow, 'I will torture this fluffy thing after I finished this task!'

"Inside that car, there is Aiden Wang." The fluffy thing revealed Aiden's location, oblivious to Victoria's cruel intent towards it.

"You! Aiden Wang!!" Victoria screamed, throwing her pride out of the window.

Aiden, who dashingly just walked out of the car, noticed her loud voice. His eyebrows slightly arched upside due to Victoria's scream because her voice sounds were incredibly similar to the one he listened to at the opera.

Victoria approached Aiden, ignoring her disheveled appearance and her body covered with sweats, showing her curves, which amused Aiden even more. Suddenly, Victoria's sight of Aiden was obstructed by the bodyguards.

"I have something to propose to you!" Victoria screamed again to catch his attention.

Victoria couldn't be cautious about her appearance as her life was on the line! She hadn't had her revenge yet. Just wait after this crazy quest is finished. She will slowly torture the fluffy thing until it transmitted all the information she required!

The commotion had called out people to gather around and interested in Victoria's crazy act as a spectacle. Aiden overlooked her bizarre action and ignored it as he walked to his company without caring about her.

"It is 35 minutes more, meow." The fluffy thing was dispirited. Victoria glared at it. It flinched.

"A-PROJECT!" Victoria wailed in desperation.

This one word successfully stopped Aiden's step. Aiden whispered to the nearest bodyguard before he made his way into the company building, without looking back. Victoria unfaltering, and she almost forced her way into the Wang company. Fortunately, her sane mind stopped her impulsivity.

"30 minutes more, meow." Victoria tried to rack her brain.

The 'A-Project' that she mentioned, ineffective. What should she do now...? She turned around and noticed one of the office boys of Wang company. Victoria took a step nearer to follow his way to a small alley.

She hastily followed her guts and walked into the alley, where she found the door to get into the office. When she tried to break the door, the office boy she followed came out. Victoria chopped his neck in her startled state.

Her aptitude was quite good, considering she had learned some techniques here and there to protect herself when she was the Yue family's beloved daughter.

Victoria dragged the office boy inside to strip him down and used his clothes quickly. Briefly, she used the disheveled hospital clothes to get rid of her sweats. She took his ID, tied her hair to make herself look presentable.

"15 minutes more, meow."

"Shut up!" She hissed under her breath. Now that her fright had risen, she ran and hid when she saw someone suddenly show up. Victoria tried to use her luck by using the office boy ID to get into the elevator. Victoria almost gave up when she tried to press the highest floor, which failed miserably.

"Office girl isn't allowed here." An office worker reproached her. Victoria hid her face using a hat that the office boy used and walked out of the elevator. She bit her lips.

That means she had to run from here to the 40th floor!

Before she arrived, she would be dead, no?

Wait, isn't there a special elevator for the office boy or girl?

"I'm sorry, Mister. I'm new here, mind if you give me the information about where the elevator for the office girl or boy is?" Victoria pleaded with the office worker, who sighed heavily. He was disturbed by Victoria's body fragrance, which fully reeked of a sweet-smelling mixture with ill-scented due to her sweat.

"You can go straight there and turn left. You can use your ID to go to the floor you wished for." Victoria stepped out of the elevator and sprinted to the destination that the office worker informed her. The office worker, who left astounded with Victoria's fast disappearance, grunted in annoyance because she forgot to say, 'thank you'. Victoria wildly pressed the elevator countless times in panic.

TING!

When the elevator opened in front of her, she jumped into the elevator for less than a minute. She prayed that the elevator wouldn't stop on some floor before reaching its destination.

Victoria's prayer was granted. She arrived on the 40th floor without disturbance. Victoria walked out of the elevator, passing the bodyguard and the secretary with her fast pace run. Victoria barged into the President's office without knocking and slamming his table.

Victoria identified Aiden's handsome appearance while Aiden was amused by Victoria's skit. Instead of getting angry at this disrespectful 'office girl', Aiden's lips curved upwards in amusement.

"Aren't you brave?" His smirk was getting on Victoria's nerve.

"5 more minutes, meow." Fluffy thing faintly announced. Despite her focus on Aiden, she was able to hear its announcement.

"Mr. Aiden, are you alright!?" The secretary, who heard the noise when she barged in, appeared.

"It's fine. You can go." He shooed the secretary with a calm demeanor. Victoria's eyes flickered in surprise.

"I had asked my bodyguard to send you upstairs. What's with the sudden cross-dressing?" Victoria was jaw dropped, listened to his question.

*Flashback*

"Bring that woman to my office," Aiden whispered his order to one of his bodyguards. The bodyguard smiled to show that he understood. When the bodyguard whispered to his comrade to follow Aiden's order, Victoria had already disappeared, following the office boy into the alley. The bodyguard couldn't do it personally as he is the leader to guarantee Aiden's safety.

The comrade was going to escort Victoria. Unfortunately, he became panic-stricken on her sudden disappearance, considering how desperate Victoria was.

Victoria was a bit confused when the bodyguard didn't stop her. Now she knew, It was all due to Aiden's order in the first place. The surprise on the bodyguard's face didn't slip her sight when she ran away.

"2 minutes, meow." The fluffy thing started to sob.
