Is This An A.I.?

In the year 2025, A computer engineer discovers a new way to decode the brain as a code in the computer and aims to make a device that could potentially control the technological devices using our brain but died during the final phase of the project. 8 years had passed, a new freshman from the computer engineering department found a broke old model computer from a shop. He then fixes and found out there is an A.I. that looks like the computer engineer that has died but has no recollection of the past and has its own mind.
