"When the Gentiles heard this, they began REJOICING and glorifying the Word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life BELIEVED. And the Word of the Lord was being SPREAD through the whole region."
(Acts 13:48-49, NASB)
REFLECTION:
How do I respond to God's TRUTH in my life?
Do I receive the TRUTH about Jesus with great eagerness, rejoicing, and gladness that causes me to believe and spread it to others? OR
Do I respond unwisely by rejecting, contradicting, and discrediting its TRUTH?
ACTION POINT:
Thank You Lord for the Truth that sets me free. With a humble heart, I will acknowledge my need for You and shall be empowered to live out Your Truth in my life.
I will be reminded that my response to the Truth is a huge responsibility, one that greatly impacts me and others in a crucial manner.
I will not be unwise and contradict, reject, and disobey the Truth, because I know that there will be serious consequences.
Instead, I will respond WISELY by rejoicing in Your Truth, believing it, and sharing it with others.
I will respond WISELY to the Truth because The TRUTH is not just a fact, certainty, law, or principle BUT is a Person in our Lord and Savior JESUS!
"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."
(2 Timothy 3:16-17, NASB)
REFLECTION:
Do I take the time to read and study God's Word?
Do I know it well enough to share with others?
How can I make an impact in the lives of others through His Word?
ACTION POINT:
God's purpose for me is to change the world with His truth. To make my life count and make a difference in the lives of others...
I will STUDY the Scriptures and examine it without bias, committing to know and understand it fully; live it out and APPLY it in my everyday life so that others may see Christ in me; and TEACH it to others, sharing it eagerly and lovingly so that they too may experience God's TRANSFORMATION.
The Bible is not for information, but for application and direction. "God's Word shall sound forth from me" (1 Thessalonians 1:8).
I will STUDY, APPLY, and TEACH the Bible!
Blessed Monday!
