‘Professor, war is coming.’

‘And you know this how?’

‘I saw it. There is a returner. I saw him, from the back.’

‘And what are you?’

‘I don’t know. A seer, maybe?’

It was the conversation that started it all. May was a second year student at Blue Shore Academy. He awakened in the middle of the night, and rushed over to his class’ professor.

At first glance, Professor String was among the more unremarkable professors of the academy. Of course, there was more to the truth. He taught the third class of the second year, in which May was a student. May was an average student, but Professor String remembered every student in his class.

The two got started. Their mission was threefold.

1. Learn about the war.

2. Find the returner.

3. Understand May’s awakening.

It was a humble beginning to a grand journey.
