Chapter 149: take her away without saying a word

Di Yake pinched her chin and laughed.

"Just take it that they're all dead, okay?"

Kadia shook off his hand and pushed him away. She smiled as she walked to his wives. Di Yake could not figure out what she wanted. Did she want to be alone with him?

He smiled and assumed that she must be asking them to leave so that he could play with her. Women were just that easy.

Kadia looked at one of the women. She had been her best friend, but for money, she married Di Yake. She was the same age as her, but she looked far older.

Her friend looked back at her mockingly.

"Take your people and disappear from my sight immediately," she sneered.

Di Yake grabbed her hand and lowered his head to kiss her, but she pulled him back.

"If you don't want to see them, I'll tell them to go back, but I have to go to your house with you." He didn't care about her temper at all. She was a woman. Wasn't it always like this? She was playing hard to get.

"Go to my house? Di Yake, what right do you have to go to my house?"

He hugged her waist and forced a kiss.

"I'm asking for your father's blessing. I'm going to marry you next month as my fifth wife. You're mine. You can't escape." Kadia slapped him.

"Trash." She spat on the ground.

Di Yake covered the right side of his face and laughed.

"Flirting, huh? I like your personality."

His wives filled with jealousy. Wasn't Kadia the daughter of the coffee plantation owner? She was young and beautiful, but she had a bad temper.

Kadia's best friend, Tim, hated her to the bone. Back in school, Kadia stole her limelight and now she was here to steal her man.

Tim came up to support Di Yake and raised her hand to slap Kadia.

"Kadia, remember who you are. Di Yake is the eldest son of the Di family. He wants to marry you because he thinks highly of you. Don't be ungrateful."

Kadia looked at her with amusement. What right did she have to lecture her?

"Tim, not every woman is as shameless as you. Do you really love Di Yake? Or do you love his money? If he was penniless, you probably wouldn't even look at him."

Tim returned to Di Yake's side with a wronged expression. She grabbed Di Yake's arm and tried her best to fan the flames. "Di Yake, look at this woman. She clearly wants to destroy our relationship. In my opinion, she is relying on the fact that her family grows coffee. That is why she is so arrogant."

Di Yake asked her to step back. He took a step forward and said to Kadia, "I am only here today to give you a reminder. Next month is our wedding day. If you don't marry me, I will buy your coffee garden."

If she were to marry such scum, she'd want to die.

"I will never marry you. I would not marry you even if it meant I had to marry a pig or a dog." She told a servant to chase him and his women away with a broom.

"Oh, you are being serious? Kadia, if you dare to ask the servant to use a broom to sweep me away, I will buy your entire coffee garden tomorrow," Di Yake threatened.

Kadia snatched the broom from the servant's hand and hit him with it.

"Go away! As long as I'm here, you can forget about touching the coffee garden."

Di Yake could not stand the smell of the broom. He covered his nose and said with a sad face, "Let's go. I'll come back tomorrow."

Kadia threw the broom to the ground and cursed, "B*itch!"

Lu Xiangdong, who had been standing upstairs, had seen the scene downstairs unfold and now had a general understanding of Di Yake. When he saw a good-looking woman, he snatched her away to be his woman. He was lawless.

After Su Mianmian dressed Yimo, she asked Madam Wu to keep an eye on her. She was going to the Etel News Agency. Today was her first day of work, so she could not be late. She had a job to support herself and her daughter.

Her every move was being reported to Lu Wenzhong.

Lu Wenzhong did not expect her to work right after giving birth. He was even more surprised that she had chosen a news agency. It had nothing to do with being a stewardess. How much money could working at a news agency earn?

When Madam Wu heard the sound of a car, she thought that the young mistress had left something behind. She carried Yimo to the door and found that Lu Wenzhong had parked outside.

"Chairman!" Madam Wu walked out in panic.

Lu Wenzhong got out of the car and walked towards Madam Wu.

"Give me the child," he ordered. Madam Wu lowered her head and gave the child to him.

"Take the child to the car." He handed Yimo to his subordinates.

"Chairman, where are you taking Miss Yimo?" Madam Wu worried about what she would tell Su Mianmian.

"Why are you asking so many questions? Go back and do your work."

Madam Wu lowered her head and replied, "Yes, Chairman."

Lu Wenzhong turned around and sat in his car. When he closed the car door, he glanced at Madam Wu who had entered the house.

Madam Wu leaned against the door and watched his car drive away. She worried about Miss Yimo.

Su Mianmian had just introduced herself when she received a text message from Madam Wu. After reading the contents of the text message, Su Mianmian could not sit still anymore.

Manager Liu, who was beside her, turned his head and asked, "What's the matter?"

She moved closer to him and whispered, "Manager Liu, something happened at home. Can I leave for a while?"

"Is it very serious?"

"It's fine." She looked a little embarrassed.

"You can go. Leave today's work to Xiao Chen. There's no need for you to come back today. Tomorrow will be your official first day," Manager Liu said considerately.

"Thank you." Su Mianmian picked up the documents in front of her and got up to leave.

Deputy General Manager Wang, who was sitting next to Manager Liu, joked, "Manager Liu, this girl is not bad."

"Don't talk nonsense."

"Manager Liu, I know she's your junior. Why don't we ask her if she's married? If she's not married, maybe..." What Deputy General Manager Wang meant was very obvious. Manager Liu waved his hand, "I'm not her type. Don't randomly pick a couple."

Deputy General Manager Wang didn't dare to talk nonsense anymore. He sat up straight and started the meeting.

Su Mianmian walked out of the Etel News Agency, unlocked her car, and sat inside.

She put on her headset and stepped on the accelerator.

Lu Wenzhong's subordinate handed him his phone.

"Chengwu Su, may I ask why you're looking for me?"

Su Mianmian tried her best to remain calm. "Chairman Lu, is Yimo with you? I'm coming to take her away now."

"You're worried about me? As her grandfather, can't I take her out for a walk? Or are you afraid that I'll kidnap your daughter and sell her?" Lu Wenzhong sounded a little angry.

When she heard that he was taking Yimo out for a walk, she heaved a sigh of relief.

"Chairman, I didn't mean it that way. I'm afraid that Yimo will trouble you."

"What trouble? She's my granddaughter. From now on, the entire NEPC International Airline will be hers."

Su Mianmian pressed her forehead. She had a headache. Why couldn't he give up on this idea? Did he really want Yimo to take over the NEPC International Airline?

"You're at work right now, aren't you? You do your thing. I'll watch over her for you." Lu Wenzhong was about to hang up the phone when Su Mianmian interrupted him.

"Chairman, I respect you because you're the child's grandfather. But if you insist on forcing my daughter to do things she doesn't like, I might not be able to respect you anymore."

"We'll talk about this when Yimo grows up. Maybe my granddaughter will like the things I've arranged for her?" Lu Wenzhong hung up the phone and handed it to his servant.

The servant could tell that he was troubled. He put the phone away and gently asked, "Chairman, why are you so troubled? Are you worried about Lu Xiangdong?"

Lu Wenzhong leaned on his walking stick and walked on the lawn. "I heard from my assistant that there has been no news from Xiangdong."

"Chairman, why don't I send a few more people to look for him?"

Lu Wenzhong shook his head. "There's no need. I believe my assistant can do it."

"Okay." The servant quietly followed behind him. Lu Wenzhong suddenly stopped and said, "Su Mianmian doesn't like me close to my granddaughter. She's worried that I'll have her take over the company. Of course I'm upset by this!"

The servant pursed his lips. He felt that he shouldn't speak carelessly.

A subordinate suddenly ran over hurriedly with Lu Yimo in his arms.

"Chairman, Yimo seems to have peed her pants. What should we do?"

Lu Wenzhong looked at his subordinate. "Do you need me to teach you such a small task? Are you even worthy of being my subordinate?"

The subordinate lowered his head. "I know how to do everything except for changing diapers. My wife changed all my children."

Lu Wenzhong glared at him. "Aren't you ashamed? You asked your wife to change them every time? Give me the child."

The subordinate stared at him in astonishment. "Chairman, are you going to do it yourself?"

"It's just changing a diaper. What's so difficult about it? Who has a diaper?" Lu Wenzhong rolled up his sleeves.

Everyone was instantly petrified. The chairman wanted to change Yimo's diaper, but in this wilderness, there were no fresh diapers about.

"There are no diapers around, but the shops in the city will have diapers," a subordinate said.

Lu Wenzhong looked embarrassed. "Then what are you waiting for? Go back to the city and buy diapers."

Under his command, all his subordinates quickly got back into their cars and rushed to the city.

Su Mianmian had forgotten to ask him where he had taken Yimo. She knew that Yimo filled her diaper very frequently, and that she didn't have any spares on her. Lu Wenzhong and his subordinates were all men, so she wasn't sure they knew what they were doing.

She wanted to call Lu Wenzhong to ask him where he was, but she was worried that he would get angry. Su Mianmian decided that she would wait for him to send Yimo back.

Lu Wenzhong and his subordinates stood at the entrance of a shop. One of his subordinates went in to buy a few diapers and walked out with a dejected face.

"Chairman, there's an instruction manual here." The subordinate handed over the instruction manual for Lu Wenzhong to read.

Lu Wenzhong did not have his glasses on him. He asked his subordinate to read it for him.

Lu Yimo, who felt uncomfortable in her dirty diaper, cried out.

"Is the child hungry? Go and buy some milk," Lu Wenzhong instructed one of his subordinates.

The subordinate was inexperienced. "Chairman, that won't work."

"What's the problem?" Lu Wenzhong glared at him.

"She's used to her mother's milk. Where are you going to get milk?" Lu Wenzhong quickly replied, "Get in the car and send her back."

The subordinates felt tortured; the chairman was just like them. They had no clue how to take care of the child at all.

Su Mianmian walked around the living room, feeling uneasy.

Madam Wu did not dare to walk forward. She spoke timidly, "Young Madam, I'm really sorry!"

Su Mianmian glanced at her and waved her hand impatiently. She asked her to go so she could be alone for a while.

Yimo had been out with Lu Wenzhong for the entire afternoon. It was almost dark, and he still had not sent her home.

Madam Wu turned around and went to do some work, feeling wronged. She knew that she could not be of much help, even if she stood there.

Su Mianmian sighed helplessly.

Lu Wenzhong drove into the villa. He asked his men to bring the child inside.

Yimo was carried to Su Mianmian's door. A subordinate called out into the living room, "Young Madam, I've brought the child back."

Su Mianmian heard him and rushed out.

"She's back!" She excitedly went to carry Yimo.

"The child is hungry and has been crying nonstop. Hurry up and feed her," he told her awkwardly.

Su Mianmian nodded. Her gaze fell on Lu Wenzhong, who was sitting in the car. Then, she walked past the men and came to the front of the car.

Lu Wenzhong rolled down the car window and looked at her.

"I've already sent her back safely."

"Chairman, don't take her away without saying anything in the future. I really can't stand you torturing me like this," Su Mianmian said with a cold face.

Lu Wenzhong narrowed his eyes and snorted, "It's not your place to teach me a lesson."

"I hope this won't happen again. If it happens again, it won't matter if you're Yimo's grandfather, I won't let you see my daughter again," she said.

Lu Wenzhong's expression changed slightly. He couldn't do anything about this.
