"O-of course my head hurts... I-I fell..." I stated dryly, giving him a grimace.
"Stand up and I'll help you. Also... I finished your work in the garden bed." He said. "Thank you for allowing me to enter and get some rest last night."
I tried to remember when I let this man into my home. The only thing I could remember letting enter was that black cat. This man was not a cat so how could I have let him in?
"My name is Sanctus. I held the form of the feline last night. Since you look so confused." He stated while turning away from me.
"Are you just going to stand there while I get dressed, or can you leave my bedroom. I had no idea you were a F***ing cat last night. If I had known, I wouldn't have let you in." I said dryly.
"Since... you let me in once already, you can not refuse my entrance now or future, so it is futile for you." he turned towards me. "You don't know who I am or why I chose you. so don't go thinking you're all high-and-mighty now. You chose. Not me."
"You're right. I don't know who you are. And I also don't know why you came, or if you're going to hurt me." I said while walking towards Sanctus. " You listen here... mister. This is MY family's home and I am the last decendant. I say what goes on in MY home and if you think you're going to change that, get the hell out. I don't have time to deal with unpleasant, ill-mannered pigs like you." I poked his chest while glaring at him.
I was quite a bit shorter than Sanctus. He stood at 6'1" and I at a mere 5'7" so I was only eye-level to his chest. I felt so tiny compared to him... but I had to defend my honor and my family's home. It was the only thing I had left in this world.
