Chapter fifteen

Laura's POV

Its been five days since my birthday, Ken's leaving today and I'm going with him. Mum said its time I got into college, and she wants Ken to help guide me through.Though I was still mad at Ken, but I was happy because I'll get to see and be with him all the time now.

There was a lot of tears shedding, hugs and kisses exchanged when we got to the airport. Mummy promised she'll come visit me.

We we're in a Limousine now, which was waiting for us at the airport when we got there after several hours on the plane.Ken didn't say a word to me through out, and even now still wouldn't talk to me so I decided to break the silence because it was getting uncomfortable. "How close are we to your place? "I asked,. He still didn't take his eyes off his phone still.

"Why?do I make you that uncomfortable? Don't worry, you wouldn't be seeing much of me and its twenty minutes by the way. "he replied.

What does that even mean? I just decided to avoid him, and observe my environment. This place is fine, I saw all the beautiful buildings while we passed. "Sir, we're here"I heard the chauffeur say and someone opened my door for me to step out. I waited to carry my bags, but someone took them from me.

    Woah, the building I'm stating in front of right now is magnificent, I never knew Ken's dad was this wealthy. I just trailed behind Ken like a lost puppy trying to catch up because he was too fast.

"What the hell are you both doing here? "I heard Ken ask the second we stepped in. I moved from behind him to see who he was talking to.

   I saw a man, the exact replica of Ken, just he was all white and older. Same hair, same eyes, infact, same phenotypic features. Then by his side, was a white woman, she was so fair and pretty. Their clothes, OMG, thier clothes were stunning, made me feel under dressed in here with my jeans and polo shirt.

"We heard you were coming back son, so we dropped by to welcome you"the man spoke up.

"Welcome back baby boy "the lady spoke up this time, "and you must be laura"I now had both thier attention now.

"Yes I am, and you are? "I asked waiting for thier reply.

"The spitzes"they both answered at a time. "Oh laura, I'm so glad to finally meet you, I am Stacy, and this is my husband John Spitz"I extended  my hand for a handshake, but I was so shocked when she wrapped her arms around me in a hug, John shook my hand.

"Hey, I'm still here, and if you guys are done, can you leave? I wanna rest"Ken said.

"Spoil spot", I muttered loud enough for everyone to hear, earning a chuckle from his parents. "Laura honey, I hope to see you some other time ok? "Stacy said giving me a hug again she's obviously a hugger, John pecked my cheek, giving Ken Ken a pat on the back and they both left. Ken left too and middle aged lady came along to lead me to my room.

Woah!!!... Someone pinch me please, I can't believe this is my room. The whole room was designed pink, my best colour. The bed was huge, and it attracted me from where I stood. I went on to check out the bathroom. It was equally huge and glamorous,I couldn't help the smile that sneaked its way to my lips,  my bath gel, soap and hair shampoo all in there. He remembered, I did a little happy dance in my head.

     I separated the huge pink curtains,at the other side of the room and look what I walked into, a walk in closet for me, filled with clothes, shoes and bags from top to bottom level. I just stared shocked and speechless. I heard a chuckle behind me, I turned to see the lady from earlier smiling at me "He really loves you a lot"she said.

I didn't respond to that, because I really didn't know what to say. "He got this all arranged in less than a week "she continued, "he said if you found faults, he'll get us all fired, so I hope you like it?"

He really did all this for me? "Are you kidding?I love it!!!... Please extend my appreciation to the others"after ten more minutes of looking around, she left so I could take a rest.

This is really gonna be one hell of a stay, and I'll do anything and everything to win back Ken's love..
