(Zadicus Pov)

She was the hero who defeated the Dark Lord of Helas. I am just a shadow of her dark past. She is my demise and redemption.

I love her, I hate her, I love her, I hate her, Lovehatelovelovehatehatehatelove....

Stop! 

This is the end, the hero and villain ending this play, from where it all began. 

"Son, you must assist your brother. " My father on my 18th birthday.

"Arrogant noble! You will pay one day..." My enemies screamed as they bled and burned.

"Why! Why did you betray us for that vile woman!" My allies while I stabbed them in the back. 

"Your Highness..." My end.

I am suddenly reminded of the past, is this the finale? I want to say millions of words but I was a coward.

*cough* Blood dripped onto the floor filled with ash.

My final memory started to overlap with the person in front of me. I saw her, gallantly standing in front of me while I was kneeling on the ground with a shining sword pointing towards my face, she smiled.

I too smiled back.

Sometimes, things are better left unsaid.

(Danny POV)

"Yes! Finally!"

After 2 months of hiatus from my favorite novel "Legacy of the Ashen Crown." I know it was a cliche name, but it was still my favorite novel, all of them are my favorite characters. The book holds sentimental value as this is my first book. The author finally updated.

He said in his forum that he was going to write book 2.

It made me excited!

I want to know what happened. Did Lea and Roy end up together? What's the origin of the Crown? 

Many questions are still not answered from Book 1.

As I am excitedly shouting after hearing the announcement of book 2, maybe the author will finally answer some questions.

I suddenly felt a sudden shake of the ground. "What the fuck?! An earthquake!" 

From my panic, I remembered my teacher's words. "Duck, cover, and roll."

*Crack!*

I heard something from above me!

I was about to look up but something slammed to the back of my head. And everything went blackout. I felt my entire body floating.

Where am I?? What happened??

I can't remember...

"Now what?"

I looked at my surroundings. It was an unfamiliar place for me. I am in a goddamn forest, damn this heat and the bugs! 

I am surprised because these are not my clothes. It looked rugged but it still looks noble and luxurious. I looked at my hands and damn, it was pale white.

This isn't my hands. I abruptly felt a pain in my chest.

"Seriously, what is going on? Did I transmigrate to a fantasy world or what?" I am familiar with such a setting but I don't want to experience it firsthand. Why would I give up the luxury of the modern world for some backward society? 

The pain went on for a couple of seconds and the pain subsided.

I have many questions but for now, I should find a civilization. I just wandered straight but after a couple of minutes. I saw a stream of water in the distance. The thirst I have seems to grow.

I steadily walked towards the stream, trying not to tumble.

I reached the stream, extending my hands to scoop a handful of water. I know my teacher told me not to hastily drink in wild water, but I don't know how to make fire, can't boil it so... it is what it is.

Suddenly! Something came out of the water!

It jumped towards my face! I jerked back. I raised my arm to cover my face falling to my butt.

Everything went slow as I saw the jaws of the fcking piranha flying towards my face.

*Swoosh!*

And suddenly a light chopped the fish in half and missed my face.

I looked up in the direction where the light came from.

The most beautiful person I have ever seen.

A girl with a shining sword pointed towards my face. A gallant and confident posture! You could feel her composure and her sharp eyes.

She was wearing crude leather armor and a sheath strapped to her waist. Her features were exquisite but she bears scars covering all over her arms and neck. She even had a scar on her left cheek.

I gulped, her presence made me nervous. She seems familiar, even though she looks foreign in her cosplay costume.

"Hello."

I greeted her nervously. But she just quietly looked at me. Her expression is blank but beautiful nonetheless.

"Are you Percy?" She suddenly asked.

"Excuse me?"

"I said, are you, Percy?" She repeated, unfortunately, still pointing the sword at my face.

"No. I am not Percy." I answered honestly. Why does 'Percy' sound familiar?

"Then why do you have that Crest?" She suddenly pointed using her sword's tip towards my left collar.

I reached out and felt something.

It was pinned so I took it out and slowly examined it.

It was made of something gold but it seems different, I can't pinpoint it.

It was a crest, a 5-pointed star.

Under it were foreign alphabets and yet I could somehow read it.

"Glory of the Stars" I muttered. The pieces of information are finally starting to be arranged. I looked towards the girl, finally knowing why she looked familiar and the name "Percy."

"Lea," I gently whispered.

Lea was surprised. You know me?" She asked.

Yes, of course, I know you, You are one of my favorite heroines.

Fuck! You are way more beautiful than I imagined! I tried to calm down and look again at the crest.

"Where are we right now?" I asked her, ignoring her question.

She had this vigilant expression but she answered.

"Carth's Forest." Tilting her head to the side.

"Do you know what family owned this Crest?" I asked her.

"Yes, This crest is owned by the Royal family, Swordstar." Lea abruptly half-kneeled. This girl is unique... boldly pointing a sword at a royal. I have a gist of what's going on now.

"I finally found you, Prince Percy Swordstar." She respectfully said. I just blankly looked at her. My emotions are in a mess. My head spinning.

"Lea, how did you know I am Percy?" I asked her again to confirm some suspicions.

"Oh well, your brother, Prince Roy showed a picture of you to me." She answered me honestly and bluntly.

The mystery is finally solved... I transmigrated and I became Percy.

Percy Swordstar: A royal prince, brother of Roy Swordstar. And importantly, the usurper who took over Helas and became its Tyrant. The Dark Lord massacred hundreds of thousands of people. One who destroyed dozens of kingdoms and conquered almost the entire known continent.

Zadicus, the Treacherous Emperor.

And right in front of him, the woman who killed him. The one who ended Zadicus's Conquest.
