Chapter 28: [Assault x Ambush]
[Underground Headquarters, England, London]
In the hallway going to the command room a certain group of people are talking and discussing something to the person who is in front of them and this person is the Head General Alexander Garcia
"How's everything today?" Asks Alex
"Everything's the same like yesterday! We still haven't found any lead to a terrorist user called A.K.A Undead" said one of the officer
"Still no lead huh!... Are we being lured into a wild goose chase?" Thought Alex to himself
"If what you say is true Head General then this operation I'll be quite dangerous no!?" Said another officer
After lamenting for a few seconds Alex said
"Your right!.... The scariest enemy are the ones you don't know about after all..... Many things can happen in the unknown" said Alex
As they talked they arrived at the door of the command room and as the door slide open they saw people in a panic way in which the typical scene looks like a wild company
"What's happening?" Asked Alex
As he said that the Head Chief approached him and reported
"Sir! We have received a report stating that they found a clue on where undead hide out is"
"They found it?" Exclaimed Alex
"Yes sir! It was reported by a user at the bridge also it gave us a specified coordinates" said the head chief
As the head chief said this it caught Sanaguchi's attention so he went to take a look
Seeing Sanaguchi taking a peek Alex asks him
*What's wrong?"
"It feels weird.... It's like how can such coordinates be pin pointed so accurately!" Replied Sanaguchi
After pondering for a bit Alex came to a decision
"It's no use pondering it for now... This time we need to confirm it but I also want to finish it up so send the polar team and White Knight along with other users and military units to that location" ordered Alex
Hearing this everyone fell silent
"That's too much pressure" they thought to themselves
But nevertheless they still followed him
[Garage, Underground Headquarters]
"So they're sending us out" said Arthur as he adjusted his uniform
"Well they did say they found a lead" said Joana as she puts on a breastplate
After hearing orders of their departure both the team polar and white knights including some other user team and military unit begun to prepare in the garage with their suit and weapons
"By the way wheres Ryuuji and Jessica?" Asked Arthur
"Them?.... Ryuuji said that he would stay so Jessica also stayed because their partners" explained Isabelle
"Stay? Why?" Exclaimed Arthur
"He said something doesn't feel right so he stayed" replied Ai
As they converse Kanzaki was fixing his attire quietly until Joana approached him
"Are you okay? Are you still feeling down?" Asked Joana
Seeing that she was worried Kanzaki replied
"I'm fine! Don't worry about me! I can handle the pain!" Said Kanzaki
Hearing his reply all the people around him gazed at him worried about his condition
As the group got into the transport car yet immediately headed out to the location
As the car go by they talked to each other to raise their morale
"Looks like the location is at the ruined parts of the country that the chaos beings once decimated" said Roland
"Looks like this will be the day in which we could take that guy down and also make him regret in fighting the users in Grandora City" said Jinwoo
"Right! Your city was attacked by him so I can relate to that" commented Roland
"This will be risky! So I'm asking for you guys to be on alert at all times because anything can happen in this operation" added Roland
"We know that! But we don't have any ideas of losing" retorted Arthur
As they converse Kanzaki was looking at his sword as if remembering something that has been told to him

As all these transpired in a dark place a figure smiled and this figure in the undead

As the crew and other units got out of the vehicles they immediately prepared themselves to fight to the bitter end so they approached slowly to avoid being noticed by the enemy
"Team 1 go upfront! Team 2 cover our rear! Others move out slowly!" Said one of the military unit
As they moved they walked slowly at each pace as if their a walking turtle
"This is quite exhilarating" said arthur
At this moment the supporters are left in the car monitoring the whole team and of course the supporters of the white knights are here which consists of triplets of sisters
"Hey I'm Isabelle and this is Ai nice to meet you!" Said Isabelle

Meanwhile outside as the group engaged slowly the begun to feel that something was creeping up behind them and not only behind it's more like around them
"Hold!" Said one of the unit after sensing that something wasn't right
As silent fell the one unit made some kind of hand gestures and multiple military unit moved to follow his direction
When they grow deeper inside multiple chaos beast sprung out of nowhere and started attacking the team
(Multiple enemy detected!!!) Warned Ai
(Kanzaki!) Alerted Isabelle
"Got it" replied Kanzaki
"Enemy incoming! Evasive maneuvers! Go! Go! Go!" Shouted by one of the military unit
Instantly all units begun to dodge and engage the enemy

"GRENADE!!!" yelled one of the soldiers
Boom.....
After some chaos beast died another one came out and this continued for quite a while so to lessen the military burden the users immediately charged in
"I'll lead the way!" Ordered Joana
"SHIELD BASH!"
Immediately Joana slammed at one of the chaos beast and pushing further creating a path for other users and with that move it was immediately followed up by Arthur and Roland hacking its way into the enemy
At one side Kanzaki was dodging while attacking the chaos beast which looks like an oversized rabbit and thus this battle became a battle of agility and flexibility
As the chaos beast kept jumping around the pile of destroyed rubbles around it Kanzaki dashed forward almost copying the chaos beast by making his body be as nimble as he can
With the chaos beast hardening it's part of its body it even made kanzaki sword unable to Pierce through it making sound like a sword hitting a metal
Cling..... Cling... Cling.... Cling...
As they moved around some chaos beast even engaged Kanzaki in his blindspots
Immediately activating his ability foresight's Kanzaki was able to see his future and quickly dodge it as if he had seen this through
The moment Kanzaki dodged the chaos beast he immediately engulfed his sword with Fafnir's aura and hacked away the chaos beast killing them
While he was distracted the rabbit type chaos beast charged at him at plain sight but unfortunately Kanzaki was currently using his foresight making him see what the rabbit type chaos beast was about to do, so with great force Kanzaki slid his feet behind him and forcefully twisting his body to confront the chaos beast
With his sword held up high Kanzaki immediately slashed down an because his sword fafnir was still engulfed by Fafnir's own aura making his slash have an impactful setback as it hits the chaos beast blowing away the surrounding chaos being
Meanwhile Jinwoo destroyed some of the chaos beast by hitting them with his pole sending them to crash to other places while most of the time he used his hands and activating his ability making him overpower the chaos beast in hand combat
As Jinwoo slammed his pole to the rhino type chaos beast a high sound radiated from it because of the chaos beast thickness
Realizing that the pole seemed useless to this thick armor he immediately retracted his pole and dashed infront of the chaos beast while punching it continuously to it's armor
Thanks to his ability even if Jinwoo punched a hard object it won't hurt him
As Jinwoo gathered the Mana in his fist he released this accumulated Mana as he punched the chaos beast blowing Everything around him away and making the chaos beast crashed at some objects before it stops and cause a huge explosion

[Command Room, Underground Headquarters, England, London]
As the battle goes on the people inside the control saw what happening outside through a satellite and they immediately wore grim faces
"A planned ambush? How could this be? Does our information leaked out?" Asked the head chief that was in charge of this Headquarters
"There's no way that could be true!" Said one of the officer
As they voice their comments the Head General Alexander called out
"Who sent the information?"
When he said this the whole room became silent and one of the officer answered his question
"One of our users sir!"
When the officer said this Alex ordered them
"Bring him here"
Immediately the officer followed it's command and quickly brought the user who said the information
Upon seeing the user Alex calm face became distorted as he approached the user
When he was infront of the user he light patted his shoulder making the user and surrounding people be confused of Alex movement
At that moment Alex choked the user lifting him off the ground making the user struggle for survival and eventually stopped moving as Alex snapped his neck
The surrounding officers and employees became horrified as they witnessed the Head General murdering a person infront of them
"Sir!why did you do that? What's wrong with you?why did you kill him?" Yelled the Head Chief
After all a user in his own branch was killed right infront of him which makes him furious but what the Head General said stunned him
"I used my ability on him and of course all of you know what my ability is capable off but that guy didn't even react and there's two ways that I know the reason it didn't work and it's either you don't have a conscience or your dead but the latter has a consciousness so there's only one possible answer"
As Alex said that the other officers became flabbergasted
"How come he have consciousness when he's dead?..."
As he asked this question an answer suddenly dawned upon them, who were they fighting with? What kind of person are they fighting?
"It's the undead! He sent us the info!" Murmured one of the officer
Of course with this silence the officers murmurs was heard by everyone and all of them wore grim expression as they realized that they were baited right into the undead trap

As the group of squad exterminated the chaos beast they immediately head out inside the building in which it was suspected as the hide out of the undead, when they went in a man in Black cloth appeared standing I the middle of the vicinity
(This looks fishy) said Meine
(I don't like this) said Maya

At this warning from. The triplets Arthur told to the military to go upstairs and snipe from above
The military unit agreed and quickly moved to their positions as fast as they could
As Arthur and Joana nodded at each other they stepped out to confront the cloaked figure while the users all covered they're rear
"I didn't expect a welcome" said Joana
As she said this the cloaked person looks up
"Ahh!!! A visitor!" It said with an old raspy voice
"Are you the undead?" Asked Arthur
"You can say that" replied the cloaked person
"Why did you attacked our country?" Asked Joana as she inched closer
"Why? It's obvious isn't it? Your queen has something which interest my peers so why wouldn't I attack it?" Said the cloaked person
"Are you saying thats your reason for attacking our country? Do you think you can get away with that?" Glared Arthur
"Why would i need to get away? What should I fear about you guys? Your not immortal! As long as you die there's nothing that can put me to fear you" said the cloaked person
Seeing its arrogance Joana begun to feel annoyed
"You really don't know who's the one who have advantage here right?" Said Joana
At that the cloaked person looked at her
"I know for myself that I have the upper hand after all I made you guys come here successfully! Why do you think I didn't plan this through?"
Hearing his answer Arthur gripped his Excalibur while the other units begun to prepare to engage
"Just what's your aim? Not somebody else but you yourself!" Said Arthur as he hold backs himself
"Me?" Said the cloaked person
Tension rises as the units waited for his answer
"Destruction! What you call destruction is art for me! As long as I can achieve that then I can do anything even if I have to tear your queen limbs from limbs or even set your families to eternal despair"
Hearing this most of the people there burst into anger while the remaining tried to hold them back and of course all the supporters in the cargo truck were gritting their teeth in anger as they heard this
"You.... Do you even call yourself human?" Gritted Arthur
"Human? I already consider myself as an undead" said the person as he laughed
Hearing his laughter Joana pounced at him but Jinwoo noticed something and immediately dashed towards her
"You bastard!"
"Joana stop!"
As Joana grabbed the person she noticed the person was as cold as dead and looking at her with dead eyes as he smiled
"Boom" whispered the cloaked person
Instantly Jinwoo covered Joana with his back facing the cloaked person
As the cloaked person whispered he exploded blowing Jinwoo and Joana away making them crash on the entrance wall
Crash.....
(Jinwoo!) Exclaimed Ai
(Joana!) Exclaimed Meine
When Arthur, Roland and Kanzaki tend Jinwoo and Joana they immediately wore grim expression on their faces as the space tore apart at the previous position of the cloaked person at
"No way! This isn't happening!" Muttered one of the user as a chaos knight emerge from the space but not only one chaos knight but six of them
With six chaos knight all of the person that participated in this operation wore grim expression as they imagined their inescapable death

[Buckingham palace]
Meanwhile Queen Elizabeth III received the news that a team was sent to deal with undead
"So it's started" she murmured
But little did she know that something horrible will happen in Buckingham palace
As a person was standing at the opposite ride of the road staring at the Buckingham palace
The gate guards immediately took notice of the mysterious person as they readied themselves to fight and protect the palace
As the person looked at his phone he smirked
"So two of my puppets are dead... Oh well let the chaos begin" he said
Instantly 12 undead Titans emerge from the portal and cause havoc all over London while he walked straight to the gate guards wearing a smile on his face
