2 and a half years later…

"So I've been thinking, I want to get back to work," said Hana as she went to join Changkyun on the sofa.

He turned and gave her a confused look. "What? Why? Are you not comfortable living here? I can get us a bigger place," he suggested.

Hana shook her head. "No, that's not it. I love this place. I just want to get back out into the world and do something. I know I still have some money left in savings but I just want to start earning for myself so I don't have to depend on you."

"No. It's fine. I make more than enough for the both of us to be more than comfortable. There's really no need for you to work at all," he said sounding a bit annoyed.

"But-" Hana started.

"No," he said sternly.

He brought her into his arms and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"I tried talking to Yoongi again. He still won't tell me where Younha is," Hana said trying to awkwardly change the subject.

"Do you want me to try?" Changkyun asked.

Hana shook her head. "No, you'll probably just upset him, besides I know I love Younha and I didn't give her up intentionally but maybe I should give up now. I trust that he'd at least give her to a good loving family and I'm sure he's keeping tabs on her. She is his daughter after all."

"I'm sorry, the worst thing someone could do is rip a child away from their mother," said Changkyun as he held her tighter.

Hana placed her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes as she started to fall asleep.

When she woke up a few hours later it was already night time and she was alone. She sat up and stretched as she yawned.

"Kyun? You home?" Hana said aloud as she got up to look for him.

She went into their shared bedroom, it was empty. Then his studio, also empty. Then she found a note on the counter. He had been called into the studio to work on some songs and he wasn't going to be home for awhile.

Hana smiled as she was suddenly reminded when Yoongi would leave her little notes telling her he was called into work and that he'd be gone awhile. She was brought back to the present when the doorbell started to ring. She went to look at the monitor to see who it was. Her eyes widened when she recognized the man on the other end. Without hesitation she buzzed him in. She ran to open the door for him.

"KiKi! You actually came to visit!" She exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around him bringing him into a hug. "It's been so long!"

Kihyun smiled. "Yes it has. How've you been? How's Changkyun?"

"I'm just great. And Kyun, well let's just say he hasn't changed a bit. He told me you guys still work together and you're still friends. I was really glad to hear that especially after everything that happened with us," she replied.

Kihyun gave her a look of bewilderment. "Really? He and I haven't talked to or seen each other since the incident between us."

Hana furrowed her eyebrows trying to make sense of why he'd lie to her about something like that. "Really?"

Kihyun nodded, "yeah. In fact I came here hoping to find him. I've been trying to get in touch with him so we could patch things up but he keeps avoiding me. And since I heard from the guys that you two got back together I really wanted to fix things. I want us to be friends again so we can go back to the way it used to be."

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't know that it was that bad. I never meant for any of this to happen. I-I'll talk to him. I'm sure he can forgive you now. I mean it wasn't even your fault. Yeah I'll talk to him," she replied as she nodded her head.

"Thanks. I'll be going now," said Kihyun as he turned and headed out the door again. He stopped and turned for a second. "And Hana, it was really nice seeing you again. I'm glad you're getting a second chance at this with Changkyun." He said before he disappeared into the elevator and out of sight.

Hana closed the door and went to sit back on the sofa where she quietly sat deep in thought. Thinking especially about how she should confront Changkyun about Kihyun.

"I'm home, Hana?" Changkyun said aloud as he entered the apartment. He took his shoes off and dropped his bag on the floor.

"In here," she said from her spot on the sofa.

Changkyun went over and gave her a kiss.

"What've you been up to?" He asked.

"Mmm, not much. Kyun, I wanna talk to you about something," She said.

He nodded. "Sure, what's up?" He asked.

"Well Kihyun kinda showed up out of nowhere earlier…before you decide to get angry nothing happened. But he did tell me something," she said.

Changkyun averted his gaze to the floor. "Really? What did he tell you?"

"You don't wanna take a guess?" She asked.

Changkyun continued to stare at the floor in silence.

"Fine," she sighed. "He told me you two haven't talked to or seen each other since we broke up, why'd you tell me otherwise?"

"I'm- I'm sorry," muttered Changkyun still looking down at the floor.

"Why did you lie?" She asked.

"Because," he said.

"Because? Because why?" She asked.

"I was afraid. When you asked about him on that coffee date I thought maybe you still had feelings for him. I thought if you thought things were good between us that you wouldn't think it was strange if he didn't stop by." He paused for a second. "And it worked. Until it didn't."

"Oh my god, you are so annoying!" She said as she grabbed his cheeks bringing his face up so he could look her in the eyes. "How many times do I have to tell you?! I love you. YOU! Not Kihyun! Not anyone else! YOU! JUST YOU! I know what happened before was my fault but I still loved you. I blame myself everyday for what happened between us. I mean I get you being cautious but you don't have to be. You have me now and I'm not going anywhere. I want you to go meet up with Kihyun. I know you forgave him a long time ago, now I want you to let him know it. Do you understand me?" She asked.

Changkyun nodded. "Fine. I'll call him tomorrow or find him at the studio."

"Thank you," she smiled as she brought him into a warm kiss.

"I love you too," he said.

When Hana woke up the next morning her whole body ached as she struggled to sit up and the bed was a complete mess.

"You're finally awake. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to say good bye before leaving for work," said Changkyun as he came and sat on the edge of the bed next to me. "You okay? We kinda had a long night last night." He smirked.

She brought the blanket over her face as she could feel her cheeks start to burn bright red in embarrassment. All the events from the night before started to flash in her head.

Changkyun laughed. He pulled the cover down so he could see her face and smiled. " I love you." He leaned in for a kiss.

"You're gonna be late for work, go on and remember, tell Kihyun," she said pushing him away.

He rolled his eyes and nodded. "Yeah, yeah."

When Changkyun got to work he saw Kihyun and he knew what he had to do. He decided to approach him and talk to him.

"Hyung? Can I talk to you? Please?" He asked.

Kihyun turned and looked at him wide eyed. "Of- Of course." He brought him into his studio.

"Hyung I- I just wanted to tell you that I forgive you. For what happened. I never did blame you for it. I was just so shocked— I didn't know how to talk to you, I just really want it to go back to the way it used to be," Changkyun said.

Kihyun nodded. "I've been waiting so long just to talk to you, about anything. I was hurt every time you avoided me but I understood. I just- I'm still sorry. That's all I ever wanted to tell you."

Changkyun smiled and awkwardly turned and left. After all those years he finally talked to Kihyun and their friendship was soon to be salvaged.
