[Warwick POV]
I rose up in a mountain of shredded flesh and rivers of flowing blood. I looked at my body and saw that aside from the thick layer of blood that caked my skin, I was basically in my birthday suit. The cold winds uncomfortably caressed my skin which is covered by a thick layer of sticky dried blood. I looked up and saw the beauty of a silver moon hanging in the sky that seemed like an eye of a goddess looking down on me.
I am not who I used to be. The fat corrupt boss of a gang of ruffians is gone, I was born anew with a new identity and true power. I could feel and see glimpses of my past but none of those things feels of as much importance to as pleasing my master and fulfilling the task I was entrusted with.
'I am Warwick Sobakin. An alpha Wolfman. First of my kind. The destined king of the wolves. With this power granted to me by the lord I shall fulfil his biddings.'
"Awoooooooooooooooooooooooo"
I howled uncontrollably towards the moon and my body began to morph back into its human form. Similar, but also different from my previous state as I am now a complete being and is free from the moon's bindings.
"""""""""""""""""Awooooooooooooooooo"""""""""""""""""""
Silver blue eyes that lit up from the darkness surrounded me like eerie soul flames converging towards my position. Figures slowly morphing to their human form approached and knelt before me, their new king.
"Arise my pack! For we, a specie shunned by the magical ones are born anew with more power and control than we have ever dreamed or hoped for. We serve only under one name and none other. Let us give thanks to the great Krum our God and maker, the one to free us from the moon!!!"
"""""""""""""""""Awooooooooooooooooo"""""""""""""""""""
"Ahem... Excuse me mister Warwick."
I looked towards the source of the sound to find someone covered in shadows.
"I don't mean to interrupt, but I am tasked by the master to take you to your new home after the task given to you by the master is done. I am the Head Guardian of the Krum household, my name is Golie. You as the first of his creations to have exhibited potential and will be seated as the First Guardian. Follow me. The master has arranged everything for your new pack."
It was a tall beautiful looking man with long golden hair and eyes. He was wearing an obsidian black armor and behind him is a billowing cloud of black smoke which must have served as his cloak. I can feel invisible pressure around my neck with him just standing in front of me which made me sweat in bullets. He is strong. Unbelievably so. In both magic and body, perhaps similar to myself when it comes to the body aspect but strength of the body alone won't be enough to fight someone of his caliber. If he and I would have to fight, then I'd lose no doubt, I want to be stronger.
With a flick of his fingers the whole pack was cleaned and draped in a tight fitting golden armor set that offers free range of movement and great protection to our vital spots. Shin guards and arm guards lined with enchantments such as speed, strength, and different kinds of barriers. Without giving time for us to evaluate anything at all he began walking towards a huge door at the distance and we can only follow.
What greeted us is a long hallway with doors on each side decorated in gold and red colored engravings. The hallway is as vast, like half an hectare wide lined with green dragon like plants on both sides. We walked for quite a while and entered another golden gateway.
"Welcome to Lupine, the world of wolfmen. This is a land as vast as a small continent. It will serve as your new home, but don't be complacent as master placed other magical creatures in there for your pack to not be bored. At the distance is your own castle where the master can contact your pack. Serve the master properly and faithfully as I have and I assure you that you will not go mistreated nor unrewarded."
"I thank the Head Guardian for his time and attention. I will put your words to heart and serve the master with all the power which he has bestowed upon me."
The head guardian left with a nod and the gateway vanished. I looked at the castle in the horizon and then to the perpetual moon above it and howled in excitement. My new life as Warwick Sobakin, alpha to the wolfmen and the first guardian of Krum household now begins. Looking at the scroll in my hand, I hurried to the distant castle for my first (actually his second) assignment.
.................
"Old man, I'm sure you don't know who I am and there's no point in finding out. I only have a couple of questions for you."
He looked like frail old man, but the billowing scream of magical power around him tells people's subconscious that he is a very, very, very dangerous person. His name is Gillert Grindelwald, one of, if not the most powerful dark lord in the history of magical Europe and in front of him is a young man seemingly oblivious of such a fact even calling him old and such. He however knew himself that no simple kid can break him out unscathed from the castle he himself built, the Nurmengard. He grew more and more curious and mistified by the young man in front of him. He looked to be in his mid twenties with lean build and tall stature. His eyes are sharp and his magic is like the abyss. He was unable to tell at all what level of magic he is in.
"What do you want from this old man then... child... or whatever you are."
"Ohoho. You make me laugh with this petty mind tricks of yours old fagg, do it again and your head will roll down the floor next. I will forgive you just this once since I'm in a good mood today hahaha."
Gillert would have never expected what had just occurred. He tried to probe a kids head only to be trapped and tortured inside for a whole year. When he came back to reality he was already rolling in pain from the shock his head received, as his eyes and ears bled.
"Ugh, you have grown old and weak. Clean him up and then take him to me after, he stink of blood, piss, and feces. Make sure to feed him too."
The young man disappeared and Grindelwald was surrounded by shadows with golden eyes that looked like devine flames floating inside the shadows. They took him away to be cleaned, clothed and fed as Viktor instructed.
'I have been away for such a long time and doesn't have enough information, the kid does not seem to harbor ill intent towards me as of yet, maybe I should listen to him first before I take action.'
Gillert was running his head as he followed the shadow in front of him. Now that he noticed it he's been walking for quite a while in this very luxurious and wide hallway lined with red carpet with golden embroidery and marble floor, walls and pillars which are also lined with gold and precious gems.
'A rich man, I suppose. Look at those hybrid dragon plants. These walls are nigh impregnable and indestructible, not to mention lined with very advanced defensive enchantments. Well nothing that can't be broken with some effort is worth a glance anyway.'
The shadow then made a turn and entered the huge gate-like door and vanished from view. He slowed down slightly but was pushed by the shadows behind him towards the door.
'Merlin's beard!'
He looked at the vast lands before him in shock. The sky is littered by flying beasts and dragons who nested on floating islands. One such island in particular which is avoided by these dragons has great golden castle sitting on top of it like a devine dwelling. His hand was grabbed and they appeared in front of the castle gates. It is in fact big, bigger than anything he's ever seen. Making him feel small and insignificant for the first time in his entire life.
'Just what in the bloody hell am I dealing with?'
"Please take a seat Mr. Grindelwald. I only wish to speak to you and mean you no harm. Would you like some tea as we speak?"
The young man calmly talked and gestured towards a corner where a tray full of wares came flying in with trays of tea and snacks which it automatically served.
'Handy.'
"Mr. Grindelwald, let me be frank, I would like to ask you to continue and finish what you started in the past. Create a world with unified races where us magical ones can be free to do what we want, from being ostracised as the devil spawn, from being shunned by the muggle kind, and from being feared for our powers. Let us build a better world."
Viktor proposed and Grindelwald frowned.
"Aren't you going to introduce yourself first? You know me. Yet I don't know you."
"There's no need for that. What I want is your answer."
"And if I say no???"
"Then you can go. Live out what remains of your pathetic life and stay out of my way. But you wouldn't want that, wouldn't you?"
"Indeed. But I want you to promise me one thing."
"Speak."
"I want the deathly hollows."
"Done, I can help you gather them. Here."
A box hovered in front of Gillert and opened revealing a black ring with a strangely shaped stone embedded on it.
"This is..."
"The Gaunt ring.... Also known as the 'Resurrection Stone' from the story of the bard. Also a horcrux as I assume you are already aware. Use the poor soul inside to your liking. I have already scoured its contents. It is very..... unpleasant but, educational. This is a contract I drafted. Sign it with blood and you will be part of my household."
'Maybe he is a devil of some kind? Well nothing is hidden and its full of benefits. Except I'll be bound to his household for all eternity. A fair deal. A backer as large and powerful can only be found and not sought.'
He made a cut on his right index finger and signed his name in the parchment scroll he was given. The words lit up as if on fire as the parchment started to burn leaving not even ashes behind forming a connection between him and his new employer.
"I Gillert Grindelwald, hereby solemnly swear in magic's name, that I will fulfil my end of the contract and serve the Lord's household for all eternity."
He bent his knees and swore allegiance.
