Victor and Atsuki

He wished it was brighter here. Not that it was scary in the darkness, or that it was only just him and Atsuki, both needing assistance in terms of their injuries. But he feels lonely, just like before when Sylvie got selected.

"Where is she going?" The little boy asked as two large men in suits forcefully held the girl, bursting into tears as she is sent away to a large armored van.

"It's none of your business now go back into your house." His parents forced him back into his room. The eager boy, upset by his parents heads into the door through a pinhole to listen. Sure their parents weren't the most wealthy, owning that of a single story house. But just because she made a plant grow, that doesn't mean that she has abilities. Does she?

"Sorry sir and madam, but so far he doesn't qualify for now," The man looked at his father as he looks on in shame.

"It's ok. She is after all going to be fine right?"

His wife asked as she is passed with suitcase cluttered with dollar notes overflowing it.

"Yes. Just send some letters, she would definitely appreciate it," with a stone cold look, the men got back into the van as it blared out into the moody scenery. It's blue logo of two large 'T's and a smaller 'T' below with 'Teck Toph' gleaming in the bright sky.

He sighs, staring at his bent up leg. Sure he had managed to finally get into a position of power. But at what cost? Where is she? He sighs, realizing how she will never come to accept her parents murder. Bleeding out with their stab wounds. He sighs. He can't believe his mind. He should be relieved after all. Now that he would now need not think of them at all as turns around to see Atsuki slouching under the light bars. The only one lit in the cab, going slowly in reverse.

"Why have you been so silent? You know you always had the ability to talk..." he asked the cold killer. So remorseless as of late. Sure she was shot by him, but he had no choice.

"I don't know..." she coughed. It's sharp coarse noise echoed through the dark tunnel as she continued, "I just don't feel like talking, nothing had really interested me as of late. I only talked because they ask me to."

"You don't even have a hobby?" He stares at her with a tinge of curiosity and fear. Always acting like a robot.

"I do. Just that I don't usually talk about it. You know, it is fun to construct and deconstruct anything and everything with telekinesis. This is why I always like to tinker with my dad's bike," She explained as he nods. So she is not really a robot. He then turns around again, bumping up and down from the cracks made by it with the tunnel getting brighter.

Atsuki stands up to see the remains of the train station. A broken train crumpled and blocking the path with doors ajar.

"Which one is to stop this train?" Victor asked, struggling to stand up as they hear a huge crash in their back. They scrambled to pull all the levers as the train finally screeches to a halt.

"Well it sort of worked, now what..." he asked her, looking at a flight of stairs up to darkness. They both looked at each other, gulping, acknowledging how they both are not physically right.

It took too long, depending on each other to get up. Usually going up would be a simply, forgettable habit, but this was just torture ten floors of nothing but stairs and split of portions of a building. They struggled to breathe and move. Each step becoming more painful than the last as they finally hit the basement of dusty cars and broken robots. On one side, they see Silvia's body still laid to rest as Atsuki walks away onto the other direction.

"She probably wanted to hide her feelings..." he thought to himself as he crawled on the floor, following the panting Atsuki while avoiding the broken glass and lead bullets until they hid a ancient dusty red sports car, it's key hidden underneath it's fender.

"Ahh... it's still here." She smiled, still panting from her 'torture' as Victor uses its front bumper to get up. It's red, V shaped logo shimmering under the day light, the only light lighting the car park. Though Victor was not impressed, staring back at a black sports bike, oh he so would had wished to be in something cooler than hers. She shakes her head as she looked at the spoiled brat, "What you wished you would steal that bike?"

"No I rather to go on MY bike!" She looks at him in confusion, she thought that was Dan's bike. He continued, "Since when did you have a Fiero? You always said you had a 'Ferrari' !"

"Hey it is a Fie-rari!" She points at the side badges. It was not amusing however, he ignored her statement, instantly getting onto the rather puffy black seats that were visibly restitched.

"Hey look at the bright side! At least it's rare. The brand only made business here in this country in Europe for three years, several decades ago before their extinction! Only thirty remain!"

She said proudly as Victor rolled his eyes. She started the car, welcomed by the weak engine rumbling behind the seats, joyful to meet her owner once again.

"A little help here!"

They ride up the ramp and into the daylight while avoiding all the debris blocking their path, now a literal war zone. The building split in two with it's large porch now overgrown with weeds; flames still burning in the buildings, or what remained off it as workers wandered around the place.

The Pontiac struggled to move about as United Union helicopters circling above their location, probably scouting the area. Victor thinks of his doctor, hoping for the best. What is she doing right now? Is she going to cry being worried for his health? Just like everyone else? He glances into space when he shook his head in disbelief. He looks ahead, spotting a black Mercedes moving about the rubble. Behind it, an army Land Rover scampered along playfully. Nonchalant of it's surroundings.

"A black Mercedes? Are they here?" He looks on to see the black car stopping in its tracks. It's headlights beaming at the red sports car as if it was a target. He gets out of the car uncertainly as he sees Sylvie, bursting into tears as she ran into him, "Phew you are alive!"

"I'm obviously will always be. Until I decide not to," he instantly gets slapped by Sylvie who he felt was getting out of hand as she patted on him even harder than before.

"Ok that would do it. We must go now," Shane tells Sylvie as she makes a call, amazed as to how there was still connectivity in the area.

"Hello, Tamel are you there?"

"Yes I'm always here. You are all by the way, are in hot water!" Hearing Tamels' words, she wondered how the man at the throne was thinking off her. But then again, the monster was already insane for assisting in the creation of it. He continued, "Remember Sebastian? Yeah... go and meet him. He is our only key out. He is by the way in Sector C in a large colonial mansion at Cedar Lane. You will know where it is by its size. Just tell him that I sent you."

She puts down her phone and sighs as she stares in the direction of Sector C, it's dark tower ominous amongst the trees. Waiting for their next move.
