Revelations

The long stairs seemed daunting to Victor and Atsuki, refusing at the sight as the man lead the rest spiraling down the brick stairs into a dark bunker. The place was ancient, dark and stuffy, lacking anything and everything at all. Seemingly used as storage even till this age. It's gravel now rather hard from the number of people stomping onto the ground. Sure there were medieval window grills but they were covered up by black curtains. Around the rooms were brick arches. All painted beige and beginning to chip. Though the place seemed abandoned, there seemed to be a lack of wildlife thriving in the area. Probably too dark for their existence.

In the middle of the lair sat one desk. Just one as it solely lit the dark halls with a blue glow.

"That is probably what happens when everyone thinks that you have a superiority complex..." Hanson whispered to himself, looking away. Thinking about his talk earlier.

"At least he is not listening..."

"Or even better, not looking." Sebastian made a creepy wide grin, startling Hanson who began to fume, nearly tripping down onto the rough gravel.

"It's just a remark..."

He fiddled on his PC. Activating the massive supercomputer as it emitted a green glow amongst all its ports. He continued, "One thing the leader of Sector C doesn't like is the mistreatment of his citizens. After all, you all should know how my father was a jerk. He was a victim of his paranoia. Especially you, you old man." He points at Alfred as he fiddled with the PC.

He switches on the TV's where highly technological screens shows pictures of news clippings from the British News Network: 'BNN HEADLINES: Suffering in Silence, the citizens lost by the darkest hour.' The clippings had somber fonts, memorable for a country that is not their allies. In the pictures, graphic photos of naked men and women, beaten and burnt in a warehouse before being dumped in a dig out hole. Saving reader's fears and sickness by censorship of various sections of photographs. Nevertheless the message is clear: Kruger is not as innocent like everyone else. Except kids.

"Wow I didn't know such a thing happened. I was stuck on limbo for over five years!" Baku moaned, complaining about her lack of knowledge of the incident. After all, all she remembers was that she was being fixed by Leroy after that horrible 'monster' ravaged her home. She gives a unhappy wink at Leroy, acknowledging his lack of assistance to her lost history.

"You are an orphan?" He asked as Baku added, "Yes I am, I think my parents was removed by a cyborg-" as she explained, he adds another clipping. This time from the United States Network: 'HEADLINES: whole population slaughtered by cyborg!'. Below the title were pictures. All taken at close range by brave reporters of a dark face. Baku trembled, falling into tears as the image showed the cyborg fighting a soldier. It was definitely him. She fizzled about as she collapsed onto the ground.

It had that same pair of clothes, white tank top and brown cargo pants with spiky hair and a rather mean undercut with human facial features, the only thing humane about him. She always remembers him to be cruel, person. His red eyes striking fear into her heart. She closed her eyes. Seeing the slaughtering and burning of her family. Her mum, pa, sis... all right behind her with a bright amber light. All trying to rush her to safety, "Don't fret! We will always be there." But with a bright blast, she is sent launching onto a wall, slamming down hard on her back. She struggles to get up, slowing sliding away from her death. So fast.

Then nothing.

Her eyes flutter awake. She probably is losing too much blood. With the last of her energy remaining, she looks up to see a young, lean man with messy, jumbled hair lifting to safety. Behind him, robots all protecting her from the terrors. She smiled. The only feeling of safety she may ever have as he looked at her with concern, "Don't worry. I'm here for you. For your sake and your parents... I will put you back together... Baku... Baku... Baku!"

She snaps awake, looking up to see everyone staring at her.

"Are you alright Baku?" Leroy asked as she stumbles up, responding with sadness, "Yes..."

If it wasn't him, she would be dead. She gave a silent nod. Grateful for saving her. Despite knowing that most of her body was basically gone.

She looks closer at the murderer. Her tears becoming anger. Rage that had to be stored aside for so long. Rage that is about to be left unchecked. Just like the being she had saw in her dream.

Sebastian looked at her as he zoomed closer into the photos. Grateful that news articles nowadays are stored physically and virtually for time to come. As he zoomed closer however, Leroy became wide eyed. On pieces of his shoulders were symbols.

'Made by Teck Toph Industries'

With his shock, Baku slams his fist onto the wall. Cracking the brick walls as the castle trembled under their feet. Unbelievable that man would be so evil.

"Damm it that son of a bitch is going to crumble and melt in my hands!" She clenched her fist hard, determined to kill him. Alfred looked at her and sighs, one cat is out of the bag. Who else would learn about their pasts?

"Unfortunately the man himself isn't there. But his assistant is. The only way to catch his is to 'remove' this man." He turns to him as he continued, "No matter what happens, you should know he is an arsehole. Nothing good comes out of him. Sure he may had some good moments. But it is just that few. After all, this conflict was technically started by him. If he is still around. These ideas of weapons of war will still exist. Destroying any sense of unity."

Sebastian types in the website of the United States Network with the headlines of the day: 'Joseph Teo amongst many meeting at Sector C headquarters'.

"He should be leaving soon. The meeting ends at eight. If you really want begin convincing everyone, it is best to do this sooner," he looks at his clock, fifteen minutes till eight, he continued, "this would be the only thing needed to be done."

"Seriously just that? But why?" Alfred looks on in confusion, still very unconvinced at Sebastian. After all, he is the son of a tyrant. Not someone one would think of when it comes to upholding justice.

"I have accumulated too much, I just need a reason and drive to do this." He types in further into his PC, showcasing large photographs and files made secret amongst the public. The creation of the GALED system; the fact that all the nations are trying to find ways to turn Oflip into a puppet for their use; Becker's involvement in Kruger's government and the worst of all, The Light of Men Project.

They watched the pages unfold, filled to the brim with information on how individuals with superpowers are captured and brainwashed for service in the war. As the pages stacked, on every page was a large purpose note stated in bold, 'ALL THE SELECTED INDIVIDUALS ARE TO BE FORCEFULLY TAKEN UNLESS HANDED WILLINGLY. IF THE INDIVIDUAL OR THE FAMILY DOES NOT COMPLY, THEY ARE TO BE EXTERMINATED BY PROJECT CYBORG AS PART OF RULE [ REDACTED ]'.

As they looked down, wide eyed at the large piece of paper, they stumble upon the bottom. A large sentence stating, 'If Plan F happens, the program would form the organization The Light of Men as stated by [ REDACTED ] to be ruled by Lambeth (To be called Saxon).'

The original members, part of the Supers a long time ago, looked at Alfred with fear and confusion. As members of the Light of Men, were they the one missing the picture? Who were their family members? Baku looks at him and slams him against the wall. Even more furious than before.

"WHAT DID THEY DO?!? HOW DARE YOU GET MY FAMILY INVOLVED!" She barked at him, wanting answers. But he was paralyzed in panic. Shocked at how he had so much information and how the secret was revealed so quickly. Why did the nations not look into him? They turned to look at him as he made one last swipe. Wiping his hands off the dust beneath his palms. Satisfied at his work.

"It's done, complied into a file. Do you really want to do this? If I publish it, the new government will fall," he looks at the group as Baku drops Alfred down on the ground, agreeing on this. Derek looks at her. She was red hot, furious and excited that she could finally have his revenge. He turns around to see Max, Shao Lin and Sergio agree without any thought. He looks at Alfred who stammered as he gets up, shaking his head violently.

"No... If you do this Shane, the only thing that I would do is to drive you there. That's it. I do not want to see... I need time to think... So what is yours...? You two...?" He looks back at Derek who stood frighten, shivering in the rather humid space over whatever he had just seen. Fidgeting his head up and down the gravel. However his actions were perceived to everyone the wrong way.

"Wow such bravery," Baku, who has wiped her tears off, smiled at him with respect. He gulped. That was not what he meant...

"I agree, there is no way to stop the truth now..." Shane agreed, with infuriation from Alfred secrets and her reluctance to waste her energy as he clicked on the keyboard. Coughing for a bit as he responded, "It's done, anyways to protect your identities, you would need this. Once as an espionage specialist, I always had these."

He hastily leads them into the room with a large metal door, his robes nearly getting caught by the gravel beneath him. A room filled with many disguises for both men and women. All sorts of clothing and hairstyles with sticky blobs to change their appearance drastically. All with dedicated changing rooms for both sexes.

Shane wonders how he managed to keep them considering he is on probation. Had to definitely thank his espionage skills. Or maybe he kept it for other reasons and they never bothered. But he can't question him now as they got to work.

Maximilian was not a fan. He looks at the tight robes from Sector B. Unable to stuff his muscles properly, nearly about to burst beneath his sweat. The rest however were in good shape as they rushed up.

"BOOM"

Multiple explosions rocked the place hard. Sebastian struggled to get on his feet, outside. A loud commotion seemed to be forming. He types further into the PC, the new headlines for tonight: 'Riots forming in Sector C. All demanding action against Sector B!'

"Damn news travels fast! Now go! As for the duo they are in safe hands!" He muster his strength to talk, rushing back up the stairs to his butler with everyone right behind. Heading out the door.

"Sir what should we do now?"

"I must go. Lead the duo in the chamber, they can rest there," he gives the duo a nod. Trying to assure of their health.

"But sir-"

The butler begged for his safety. But he was certain that it is impossible. Just like his father.

"Just stay safe..."

"For you. Yes I will," he pats him on the shoulder. As he heads out he began to smile.

Sure he will trip the wires and everyone would be on a manhunt for him. But that was what he wanted for it to work. He always thought that he really shouldn't be doing this. Oh how he wished he backtracked his thoughts earlier. He had basically everything ready, it is just whether to take the step. After all, it is about time for the world to know his true power. His real strength.
