He staggers back home. A hasty, long tiring trek after landing in a helicopter. Glad that Alfred cared enough for their way back. Though he wonders if they are still called citizens of Oflip. He lets out and exasperated sigh, finally back home before sunrise. A large warehouse hidden close to the train tracks which laid vacant. Just like the rest of the city, now within nature's grasp. It's rusty red roof leaked from terrible weather and ripped apart when the being decided to attack the city. A bummer to fix.
Passing his rather filled letterbox of thanks and threats, he opens up the vandalized shutter and into the comforts of a rather dark and damp setup. Like a bunker in the woods.
It had lots of pipes, leading all around the house and moving around his living room. A large velvet couch by a large television screen amongst a old 2010s setup. The only place lit up by the moonlight from a large glass pane, growing moldy by the day.
Sure he is glowing in cash from his work, but he didn't want to be reminded of his crude father. It's already bad enough when he discovered how his father was a corrupt greedy man. But all was now made worse when he discovered recently after the riots that he had hacked and hot wired his account as an investor. Technically now the owner of a large corrupt company, he wished he would just feel the joy of seeing his lost mum and sister.
He wanders past the living room and switches on a large lever, activating the bright LED lights, still working from the generators down below. He was glad, but he didn't have time. He quickly attaches on the chip into several large wires as he connects them into his large PC setup, full of large memory drives and cooling systems filling up the whole wall. Breaking the rather stale air and silence with a dark whirl of an endless void, lying way past a rather bright circle. He quickly takes out his rifle. Locking up his magazine as he hops into the void.
It was a bright lucid blur, dizzy by the minute as it becomes darker. Swallowing everything by the second. He hops out the portal, nearly tripping from the cold as he sees a small pale girl in a rather dirty blue dress. Crouching amongst a bright lamppost on a rather broken street. Sobbing. He walks closer, triggered by the memories of his sister, crying into the night. Falling down just like his mum that very day. He tries to look into the distance, but nothing remains. The light completely unable to brighten up her day. He wanders slowly, cautious of what he faced earlier in his trip here. Nothing.
He quickly takes her by the hand, crouching next to her. Worried for her safety. She looks up looking at him as he sees through her watery eyes. An overload of information. He sees giant blobs toppled as a large lady stop above all, then darkness. She then looks up, rather curious. Holding her rather small hand with a tight grip.
"Why come? We are already done for..."
Her voice echoed amongst the void. Rather innocent in her voice but speaking with the age of all. He heard from Derek how his brother made this whole universe from that stupidly powerful laptop. Still completely sentient and processing his words like a calculator. He looks at her with compassion as he pulls her up slowly. Soft from the thoughts of his past.
"Because you are still a life. And I'm going to give it a chance. No matter what happens."
He taps her by the shoulder as he walks her down to the portal. Swallowing them through it's lucidity. He covered her eyes, hoping that she won't cry. Bearing the pain as he hops out of the portal. Still stable after going through lots of trouble.
He quickly placed her on the couch, preparing a cup of hot chocolate in the kitchen as she laid down soundly. Placing down the hot chocolate as he gives a spoon of warm love. Hoping that it would be enough to calm her down from the storm. Though he wonders about everyone else's fate? Have they somehow combined together? He shook his head in disbelief. He probably have to figure it out later with 'the doctor'.
With that thought, he writes a note, folding it into a swan as it is placed on the floor. Glowing in the now rising sun in his home. Brightening up the place with a sore glare. He scrubs off his head, glad that his work was done as the bell rang across the large place. They were here.
He opens the door. Rather embarrassed that he is not changed and curious to sees Max, swapping into a casual white Tank top and sloppy brown pants, waving at him amongst the quiet landscape. He takes one last look at the girl. Wondering how long she would sleep on the couch. As he looks back and apologizes for his looks. Wondering why they were at his house. His mind was boiling in paranoia and questions but his pride would rather let it slide.
"I apologize... I was rather busy... tho-"
He rolled her eyes as he fist-bumped him in the shoulder, "Look it's ok man, let's get going for our meetup! Otherwise things will get out of hand!" Ushering him into his black Toyota SUV alongside Hanson and Ambar, the only one who doesn't own a car. He looks at her, questioning what was going on as he spots a 'Phoenix' zip past with two cars struggling to keep up. Quelling his questions instantly.
"This was not bad at all!" Shao Lin screams at Derek in the old open top car. It's V8 booming loudly amongst the quiet landscape as it kept up with Ken and his riced out Peugeot, still sulking within his hidden feelings. She looks ahead, noting how it was hard to see, considering how it was top less. Lacking any essential such as a front window. But it was a novelty to drive considering how it was technically broken and bound for scrap. Completely unable to shift up to fifth. But as he had told her earlier, it was a good deal for her first car.
" Hey it's a Cobra! An actual Cobra!"
But all were still slower than Baku who soared high towards the clouds, whizzing in the sky like a child. Though she was completely uncomfortable and finding areas of 'clean air'. She was determined to get to Atsuki and Victor first. Though she wonders why they should be going on an outing so important that they are not heading straight to Sector C for the hearing. She can only wonder. Sighing as she spot the remaining forested area that survived the impact.
Meanwhile
The duo sat, relaxing by the hood. Rather glad that they finally have time to relax as they stare upon the large cliff into the rather large ocean which has increased in water level. Moving halfway up the original coast. The seagulls moved past, squawking at the rather serene landscape. Some peace and quiet for once.
"When are you going to remove that badge? It's hierarchy!" Victor looks at her as she rolls her eyes, rather not saying to the obviousness of her purchase. It's a part of history of this car. A fun stupidity that is hard to come by now. As he turns away and scoffs, bored of their wait, Sylvie arrived in her scooter.
"What's up? Why are we here?" She slams the helmet on her seat as she parked it with a wince. Rather cheerful and free. Though a look into her face suggested otherwise. He has no idea what he had just witnessed with her powers and felt she may have been hiding a large extent of her powers. Something he fears.
She whistles along in her pink robes about to join alongside them to enjoy the scenery in the morning. However before she could do so, they were interrupted by the loud screech of the rocket engine.
They looked up, their eyes following the large UFO as it crash lands, Spewing dirt all over the ground. Smoking heavily from the impact. It was a rather sleek pod, small enough for a child but yet sophisticated with sleek small rocket engines and a rather jet-like exterior. Except it seemed to be made of fabric, transforming itself back into it's original form. They wandered cautiously, going slowly. After all, this could be a new threat. Something they wished wouldn't happened after all the fallout that happened earlier.
Through the smoke, they see the clear hatch open, lettering fuzzing about. Victor watched closely it's lettering. Sure he was clueless, but the image of a planet earth says it all. The pilot was forced to land. He looks around. Lacking any sort of control. No levers, nothing. Like it was powered by an advanced artificial intelligence. As he notices the details. Atsuki carefully unplugged the seatbelt and lifted him out. A blue skinned baby with rather eerily human-like features.
Atsuki looks at him with uncertainty as she shows them the rather mysterious thing.
"What do we do now?"
He looks at it as it groaned at it's beed-like eyes. He smiles back, remembering his separation with Sylvie, completely unbeknownst to her. All because he was weak...
"I have an idea..."
