Their Place

The voice was familiar, too evil not to recognize. With agitated feelings, Sergio turns around in an attempt to fight. But her true feelings of having no violence is strong with her. Putting her hands down. She watched as he moves closer to the strained man. Depressed by his own fears and pain from all the hatred. He staggers, looking up to see the strong man look down at him with compassion. Pulling his hands out to him, a chance of redemption. A surprise to all as they gathered around to watch.

He grabs him by the hand as he pulls him back up and pats him on the shoulder. Yan could barely believe his eyes. The one and only, his boss. Embracing his rather warm smile and chill eyes. But yet as he looks back at the rather shocked group, he feels rather disappointed. He had ruined their plans of protecting their own country then. And yet again, the messages appearing from this conflict seemed twisted. A plot by his own. Proving that their plans always worked. Completely ignoring the suffering from all the issues surrounding that deal. As he sulked, he looks away, feeling foolish for hurting everyone.

"Look, don't be so sad. My era is long over... everything that was once build will always fall." He looks at the group, rather ashamed at his actions. Seeming as if being up above must had thought him new things. He turns back, continuing, "I am not sure what the rest would think of me. But definitely you must put your hatred aside. They will be the generation to rebuild and lead for the rest of humanity."

He looks at him as the floor becomes clear, floating them down into a large Daffodil flower. A rather bright yellow specimen, glowing brighter amongst the white exterior. Besides it, a white skinned deer wakens from it's slumber. It's antlers scarred from battle but sharper and gleaming. Full of hope. It stares down at them, happy to receive new visitors. Each foot step breaking back into reality. Universes gathering and star burning a bright impression. He leads him into the flower as he waves at the group, staring right at them as his bright blue aura caressing the atmosphere. Brightening the mood. The two entered the flower as a bright light emerged blinding all of them.

"You may not have control. But your actions will. You know what to do."

As his voice echoed through the atmosphere, Shane looks through its lucidity. Wondering if she was truly on drugs. Weirder with every loud color she sees, passing through her at light speed like a past of her life. As she gazes at the spectacle, she feels a sudden warmth. A feeling she had never felt since the war. She turns around to see all her colleagues around her and her father, now reunited. Staring at each other. They know that this terror is over. But their story had just begun. There are still incidents and accidents everywhere. People still need saving. Though she fears the Supers overwhelming influence on the people. Sucked into their lives ever since the discovery of the first individual several decades ago.

With that thought at the palm of her tips, she spots the two first victims and Silvia, now restored to the skin, smiling as they fade into the light. They were assured. Hopeful that they can rest well for real. With a big smile, she places her hand behind Sergio's back. Happy of their friendship. They all looked up as a large hand clasped around them. Shielding them with love as the light is flushed out into the galaxy. Whooshing past her in a haze.

The machine disintegrated. Tearing up into dust as the red aura dissipated. They watched as two shooting stars shot pass overhead. A wide grin to see.

As her father looked on in amazement, she grabs Harold by the back as he is pulled back into safety. Ahead, soldiers in cheers as they collect their incapacitated colleagues. Grabbing them to safety. It was truly time for them to rest.

With a bright dash, Shane pulls Harold and the distracted Lino as she leaped back to Oflip. Distracted at keeping the two individuals in check as the goddess morphs back into her original form. The moon taking shape once again. Detaching itself and swirling around the fields to it's original position. It's limbs and legs now forming back into it's original layers. Aligning the planets to it's original time zone. A better sight to see on a machine like a robot. It was definitely a long trip. But beats not seeing a spectacle. Atsuki looks in awe, passing by the moon as she looks back up at the robot. Battle hardened but eased by kindness.

They land down back at their spots, surviving the heat around. A painful twitch of agitation, but otherwise bearable. Unlike Verda who was scratching herself from the itch of heat. Better than others, but she still has a long way to go, especially with the staff of hers. With that thought, she hears the white-skinned being and Baku barreling past her as they swiftly lands besides them. The being checking Verda for any wounds.

Victor puts back his pickaxes as he switched off the machine. Opening his latch to finally catch his breath. After all, he hasn't fully recovered. Around him was celebrations. People hugging each other in happiness as policemen made sure of everyone's safety. Tearing up at the sights as they attempt to catch the rioters who had mostly dispersed. Looks like they weren't going to die at all. Though through their teary eyes was fear and worry. The government of Sector B was after all pretty much dead with all of these allegations. He looks at his phone, grappling down to level ground. Watching the news unfold. Citing the Super's response in saving the people. Though comments were saying how they could do much better. As he shook his head, he is knocked in the head by Atsuki who was rather infuriated.

"Hey watch where you are going!" She politely said, watching Victor's reaction of taking things to seriously as she stares into his soul. Creeping him out, shivering as she taps him on the back, calming him down. "Dude chill! Relax, though you should look out for threats!"

"Look I can watch out for them myself." He smiles in glee. Point his thumb at himself. Truly proud. Too proud. She quickly whispers into in ears of a threat as he immediately jumps. Alert and looking around violently. Confusing the people around as he finally realizes the dupe. Looking back at her annoyed as she shrugs her shoulders.

"Hey come over you two!" The duo looks at Shane. Waving her to come over as the rest gathered around Lino and Alfred, now standing on top of a large debris like a hill. Behind them, Tamel stood around. Glad that it worked with all of the followers glad and happy.

"Good effort. But there is more to be done. You all still have a lot to learn!" He glares at Baku as she shrugs, it was technically payback, though the amount she had done was little. She looks at Derek as she pats him on the shoulder. He may had came for reasons she had yet to know, but he had done amazingly considering he was neither a Super nor a member of The Light of Men almost two weeks ago. But his sudden accuracy seemed rather suspicious. Probably drugged by Leroy. As she looks back, he continued his speech unopposed.

"For some of you. Your time in The Light of Men was fulfilling. Proud to serve. For others. You only had recently joined in for reasons of your own. But as unfortunate as it is, Team Infinite is disbanded as of today. Some of you obviously know the reason and I am somewhat proud to teach some of you. Some of you will continue what you do best, while others will leave for their plans ahead. But I urge you to no matter what to continue to fight for what is right for the rights of men. A light amongst all." He coughed, looking at the resistance leader before continuing, "Before you go. I must note that Shane and Sergio are to follow the family to custody because of your assistance in large riots in Sector C. All of you are also asked to head to the headquarters in Sector for further briefing. Otherwise I bid farewell."

He bows as he walks away to helicopter. The Light of Men symbol as proud as ever, despite fading away to nothing but an ironic smudge as he is escorted away. She doesn't know where he would be going. But most likely he won't stay down for long. With a wave, Shane looks away, walking to the van with Sergio without resistance nor remorse as she spots him walking up to Derek, falling to his knees in tears.

"I'm sorry I was never there for you. There has been too much happening."

He stared at him and sighed as he finally gives in. Amongst all the pain he had felt. The torment found in his family happening for so long. With a pat on his shoulder, he bows. Freely walks into the van alongside his creation with Verda and Harold. Sitting in the van as the doors closed on them, driven away into the abyss of the unknown. All for investigations of corruption and attempt to wage wars. She stares at their faces. Rather saddened to see humanity this way as their silhouette flickered in the dark. But something about them seem to suggest that they know something about her family. She sighs, knowing her story was far from over.

Looking away for some peace and quiet, Leroy drops a chip from the old PC. Cleared from the sludge and rather beaten in his pencil case. With one look. He quickly slides it into his pocket as they continued to have their engrossed discussions, full of murmurs and frustration. He would have to check and see. After all, they still have a life. He sighed. Unable to enjoy his night rest. just like Ken as he stares at him. Looking away and probably broken.

"It's time to get to work..." he whispered to himself.
