The Impact

They stared at each other. How dare he still smiled. She watched him clenching his fist, smelling the fumes of those stupid cannons of his and giving off an exasperated breath.

"Hmph... seem like one of those battles." He looked at the group, rather disappointed. Meanwhile, Joseph seemed glad he had arrived.

Is he seriously going to depend of him to defeat us? What hilarity. She scans the cyborg with disdain, trying to see his powers.

"You are trying to scan me right? Blaze the robot?," he shook his head with disdain, laughing as she fumed. He continued, "You can try your best. But you can't even beat me."

She frantically try to scans further into him, confirming many possible weapons including missiles and lots of guns. However, as she scans further onto his power level, her scanner crashes. His power level was too high.

"You know, I always hated the extreme effects of poverty. As a child, I always thought of one thing. One side has to go. So I did," He said, clasping his metal hands onto his arms. His arm went tenfold. Splitting in half to reveal that wretched cannon. It looked like it was made of titanium and diamond with gold paint in the inside. A circular machine similar to a gun barrel seemed to be lodged further into his arms. She looks back at her parent's killer, still at unease from his rather loud boasting, which is getting on her nerves.

"This ion cannon should be the one I killed your parents with. Ain't it nice?" He laughed out loud from his boasting.

At this point, she had enough as she started swinging. Immediately launching herself and attacking with large blades inserted into her limbs. Preparing to cut off his cannon shots.

He however was unfazed. Plummeting her into the glass lobby as she groaned in pain.

"It's laughable really. You aren't even ready to face me yet," he mocked her. Aiming his cannons at her as a large bullet is scrapped off the machines.

"What? It was supposed to right on the nose just now!" Leroy looked at Derek, shocked. Those powders he placed were meant to permanently power him with deadly accuracy. It was impossible to miss!

"I think it's better you stay out of my way," he threw out a smoke bomb. Blinding everyone to escape from his possible attack.

"Just run. I believe Baku has this under control!" Leroy yells, ushering everyone to safety as he was blocked by the beast of a men with his bodyguards. Pinning to the ground on his knees with their rifles. He couldn't see what everyone else was doing, noting how through the smoke, there were sound of battle and electric charge. Probably they were just as busy as him, except he was in deep trouble now. He gulped as the large beast clenched his fists.

"You know, you can be just as powerful as him if you hadn't ran away." He lifts Leroy up in the air, rather confused at his speech. Was he his son? As he looked dazed and confused on his identity, he continued, muffled yet unfazed by the toxic smoke covering him, "Look... we work for no one. we only work with people who are willing to pay me. So think twice before you press more allegations on us!" He punched him down onto the ground hard. Making an ominous loud crack in the rather hectic environment.

His head hurt. Probably bleeding harder than the time of his escape. He is pummel further and was having trouble seeing. But he definitely knows that the three guards beside him were definitely resorting to using their weapons as a means to beat him. He closed his eyes, remembering the one thing that had stuck with him since he awoke. In situations like these, he isn't out of options yet.

He kicks him in the nuts, falling back on his men as he somersaults back on to his feet, struggling to keep awake. Immediately pulling out a packet of cigars from his pocket.

"Seriously that?" The four idiots laughed out loud as they got back up. Seemingly immune to the rather toxic gas. Though that beast of a man is probably wearing a mask since he is trying hard to see him. So much for trying to kill the him. Though it reminded him of the time he was bullied in the camp. Bad times. He rolled his rather bloodshot eyes as the beastly man continued, though angrier than before, " How is that going to help you, you brat!?!"

"It is rather litty..." He opens the lid to reveal four rolls. Immediately launching itself, entangling the four pricks. They tried to wriggle but to no avail. As the smoke cleared. They emerged pinned to the ground in rather bright neon-colored strings. All inflating and surrounding them like nets, wearing face masks, as he suspected.

"Meet my very first creation! The sticky strings. Size adjusting edition! Designed so that once anything is in contact, they will remain there forever! Always fool everyone you know? All made using your 'funds'." He takes out the true box and lights one up, smoking in full force. His rather amazing engineering prowess has once worked once again. Though he was starting to get annoyed as his father's assistant begged.

"Look if you can let me out now. All the problems we had would be completely resolved. We can 'gain' more bidders and your father's company would be is better straits than now-"

"Shut up. I rather see you get slowly disemboweled in a rotting cell of yours with all your 'legal' funds burnt right in front of you after all that you had done. There is no hope for you." He winked at his father's assistant, growling in hatred over his stumble. He looks back, still rather dizzy from the hard impact. "Crap, am I gonna lose some of my knowledge?" He feared, hoping that his doctorate of Physics and Engineering weren't dumped into the bin.

He has had too much pain. He collapsed on the ground, looks back at the spot, squinting his eyes at the large crater. The duo were nowhere to be seen.

"Where are they?"

She groaned, trying to stand after being pummeled up onto the roof of a twenty storey building. She hoped that they didn't have to fight in the city. After all, all he had said about poverty would had been thrown out the window. But again, he is another type of predator. Seemingly obsessed with power...

She watches him charge up his rockets on his back as he boosts up into the air to stare down at her.

"Look. I have spent years training. All just to wait for the ultimate human. The one who is too perfect in terms of just... everything. I stumbled upon multiple dreams, all telling me the same thing. I will face this person and win!"

She giggled to his dissatisfaction, immediately blasting at her with his cannons as she blocked the blast. Standing right at her spot. She watched as it bounced off into the air, blasting away the clouds covering up the night sky with a bright amber glow. Gulping at his strength.

"Seriously, you should really check your sources! When one dreams. Almost always would it not work out!" She shouts from the other side of the roof as he scoffed.

"Seriously the results shows! Even now! Because so far, you had not impressed me one bit!" He boasted as he watches her launch herself onto the air. Immediately pouncing onto him.

"You are in for a surprise!"
