After talking with Guy for a little bit longer, the boy revealed that he normally hung around the Academy Training Grounds to practice with his dad.
Today was different because he hurt himself whilst training and so couldn't train with his son that day.
Guy said that he would ask his dad about Mizuki joining them for some Taijutsu training.
Although he warned him that his dad wouldn't teach him everything he knew and might even refuse outright.
Mizuki instantly agreed, after all, although he might not learn everything, the chance to learn under the creator of the eight gates would be one that he simply could not refuse.
After another ten minutes, Guy excused himself because he needed to go back and check in on his dad.
Meanwhilst, after Guy left, Mizuki packed up his things and began the walk to Ichiraku, deciding against Chakra Running to get there quickly but instead to take things slow and enjoy himself.
Although Mizuki was trying to stay relaxed and calm, his thoughts could be said to be very chaotic and anxious.
Mizuki: {I'm going to be trained by THE Might Duy!, THE Mustache Boi!}
Duy was known as the eternal genin in the village due to never moving past the rank, but in reality he was probably in the top five for strongest shinobi in the Hidden Leaf.
He was the creator of the Eight Gates technique and whilst his opening of the eighth gate couldn't let him fight "The God of Shinobi" like his son could.
It was still undeniably powerful, allowing him to fight evenly with the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist for some time, and even kill four of them in the anime.
Before he knew it, Mizuki was outside his new favourite restaurant, Ichiraku Ramen.
He glanced down at his ever thinning wallet and sighed, it was a good thing that payday was only a few days away.
It was a strange sight, having a lone silver haired child sitting alone in an establishment which otherwise had only Shinobi getting totally drunk.
And yet, for some reason he didn't look out of place at all.
After walking in, Mizuki chatted a little bit with Teuchi. Apparently, his wife had gotten pregnant and as a result, everything was on the house tonight.
Mizuki: "Congrats Old Man!"
Thinking about it, Mizuki remembered that he had never seen Teuchi's wife in the anime, meaning that she had probably died at some point.
After all, who would leave the guy who could literally make the best food in konoha? The almighty Teuchi!
Mizuki: {Hmm, there is a decent chance that she dies in childbirth, maybe I can help him out after I learn medical jutsu, that is on my bucket list after all}
The only response Mizuki got was Teuchi having an ear to ear grin on his face and some slight giggling.
After around five minutes of waiting, Teuchi finally served Mizuki his Ramen.
The boy made sure to savor every bite, even drinking the broth after he had eaten everything.
It took a whole three more bowls of Ramen before Mizuki finally stopped.
Sighing to himself, Mizuki took out some cash from his wallet and placed it on the counter before offering his congratulations one more time and promptly leaving.
Even if everything was on the house for the night he would still feel kind of bad not paying after he had so much delicious food.
Mizuki jogged back to his apartment and on the way, noticed that he actually realized that he saw Naruto's Apartment from where he was.
Apparently the building was much older than he thought.
It took around twenty more minutes before Mizuki finally got back to his Apartment.
He had gotten lost finding his way back from Ichiraku.
Even if he did have the Old Mizuki's memories, he was still not a hundred percent the same, some memories being fuzzy.
By this point, it was already late and Mizuki had been busy for the entire day and Mizuki was almost tripping over himself.
After getting in, Mizuki forced himself to shower and change into pajamas, As tired as he was not doing so would be gross and unhygienic.
Last thing he wanted was to smell after all.
Crawling into bed, Mizuki couldn't help but wonder how him being here will change the Naruto World, if at all. On that pleasant thought, Mizuki slowly drifted to sleep.
****************
Mizuki awoke to what sounded like an Elephant pounding on his door.
Obito: "MIZUKI! GET UP! CLASSES START IN TEN MINUTES"
Mizuki groaned as he sat up in bed and stretched as he let loose a yawn.
Muttering under his breath about how cruel and unfair the world is, Mizuki quickly brushed his teeth and got ready.
He then packed a couple of bottles of water and an entire extra large package of biscuits in his bag.
After years of waking up late for classes on Earth, he had basically gotten his "battle plan" down to a science at this point.
After a few minutes, Mizuki quickly unlocked the door before slamming it behind him, only to see Obito standing there waiting for him, walking around outside his door nervously.
"Class starts in five minutes! Let's Go, Let's Go, Let's Go! I can't be late!"
Mizuki didn't protest as the duo body flickered in order to make sure that they made it to class on time.
Exactly four minutes and fifty nine seconds later, the duo burst through the door of their classroom and found their seats.
They did so not a moment too soon, when both boys found their seats, their instructor walked through the door.
Anko: "God damn, that was some nice timing if I've ever seen it."
Mizuki: "I aim to impress"
Anko: "You mind teaching me how to do that?"
Mizuki had a proud smirk on his face as he turned to Anko
"Nope"
The boy replied, popping the P in a manner which mirrored how the purple haired kunoichi had done earlier.
And so, Mizuki spent the rest of the class imparting his wisdom about how to effectively sleep in class, procrastinate, and all of the other tricks he learned as a high school student on Earth.
