Chapter 43: Catapillar Vs Spirit

In a flash, Emily opened her eyes to see Ni standing over her. He held out his hand for her to grasp and pulled her up. Her head was spinning as she saw the gigantic spirit screeching at them.

"Good, you are awake. I held him off long enough for you to meet with them. No time to waste now. Call them Emily!!," Ni exclaimed to her.

Emily looked at Ni and nodded. Ni stepped behind her as she stared up at the serpent in front of her. For the first time, she wasn't scared. Emily stood her ground and clenched her fist.

"Nuukuu, come forth!!," Emily shouted.

The moment she said that, Nuu and Kuu appeared on either side of her and stared at the spirit and gazed at Emily as if to wait for instruction.

"Attack!," She shouted as Nuu and Kuu lunged at the spirit, clamping their pinchers into either side of the spirit. This caused the spirit to screech and scream as it was then held down by the caterpillars big bodies. Emily then took out her blade and ran at the spirit. The spirit tried breaking free of its bondage but it was no use. Emily jumped and sliced down the middle of the spirit's head.

The cut in the spirits head glowed a light blue as its body dispersed into a blue light that trailed up into the sky. Emily gazed in amazement at what she had just accomplished as she saw the light trail and disappear into the sky. Nuu and Kuu then disappeared as Emily was paying attention to the blue light. Ecstatic at what she did, she lifted her arms high into the sky and fell back and landed on her bottom.

"I did it!!," she cried out in excitement. "Ni! Did you see tha...,"

She trailed off as she realized that Ni was no where in sight. All there was was a little note behind her. She picked up the note and stood up. She then opened the note, which read:

Bravo at bringing down that spirit. Come back tomorrow for another lesson.
