Chapter 55: First mission

The new team Hunter finally arrived to their location. The docks of Bay City were calm with a bit of fog over the bay. The fog wasn't too thick. They knew where they were going but sight was lacking over time of where they had to go.

"So where is it?," Owen asked. All of a sudden a voice came in through a little earpiece that each of the team had in their ears.

"It's somewhere by the docks, maybe on the cliffside. Look for an old and seemingly abandoned house," Cole said from the other end of the earpiece."This mission shouldn't be very hard. People have said that they have just heard tiny scratches and squeaking, but if a problem does arise, I want you guys to call me as soon as you can, got it?"

"Got it, Professor," Ella responded.

"Oh, and another thing, do not...I repeat, do not leave the city limits, hear me? Outside of those limits is unruly. I know it is just a simple mission, but you are near city limits so take a big precaution," said Cole.

"Right," Trent said.

"Good luck, Hunter,"Cole said as he ended the call with the team.

The team was all dressed up in black uniforms. They were a bit like sweats, but not really. They also had with them 3 backpacks, which were filled to the brim with food, just in case of an emergency. Trent annoyingly started tugging on the collar of his shirt.

"Damn, why do we have to wear these stupid things. It makes me look stupid," Trent said annoyed with his own shirt.

"The professor said it would help us when we fight. I guess he means that it will make us faster," Ella said.

"I don't care if it gives us god powers from an angry cat god. It's uncomfortable and I wouldn't wear this bull crap," Trent said.

"Well, the professor said that we have to. Best not to question it," Owen said.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever loser," Trent said.

The team walked along the docks of bay city. The farther down the docks that they got, the more foggy and groggy it seemed. The docks seemed to have old and worn. All there was at the docks were a few sail old sail boats that have been left there, tied to the metal stopper to make sure they did not drift away with the current of the sea.

"The Dark Sea...," Trent said gazing at one of the sail boats. "I wonder how long ago they have sailed these things"

"You seem to be interested in something all of a sudden," Ella said rolling her eyes. "You know, other than that girl you can't get over...what was her name again? Stacy?"

"Emily," Trent correcting her angrily.

"Yes, yes, right. Emily, poor girl. I really feel sorry for her," Ella said.

"What is that supposed to mean," Trent responded angrily.

"Well, anyone, who has to put up with someone like you, really is in an unfortunate situation. You seem to bully everyone you come in contact with. I only wonder why you are like this," Ella said looking at him.

Trent closed his eyes and sighed.

"My problems are my own," Trent said calmly and clenching his fists.

"Hey guys!!," Owen said before Ella spoke. "I think I found something!!"

Ella and Trent turned to see Owen standing a ways away from them and pointing to a foggy, grassy area surrounded by bushes and pine trees. Ella ran up to Owen and grabbed his hand.

"Great job Owen!!," Ella said ecstatically.

"O-oh...t-thanks," Owen said while nervously looking to the side.

Trent then approached them and entered the grassy area.

"Come on, we haven't got all day," Trent said looking back at them.

Ella just glared at him and turned up her nose.

"Come on Owen," Ella said yanking at Owen's hand so he can follow her.

"H-hey!," Owen said as he was now running past Trent, hand in hand with Ella.

"Pah, jeez. Cry baby," Trent sighed
