Holocron of Stark

4 BBY, Tarvish (Dromia Prime)

The ship approached Tarvish. Another rocky water planet with skidding water and high mountains with tropical oasis'. It was always cloudy, almost rainy every time. Fogs were common and winter was half year-round. A moon for Dromia Prime, it benefited from gravitational stress that kept its waters flowing but the farther it was from the star...the waters churned with chunks of ice.

Approaching the atmosphere, Jon could see a scattering of towns and villages. As the ship flew into normal airspace traffic, Jane began briefing on their "next mission".

"Alright ladies and gentlemen," everyone packed and cocked their weapons. "We've got information that there's a particular mercenary station here that has been discovered to laid waste to hundreds of innocent people." she began.

"We're getting paid good credits to do this job and if you are to walk out of here rich, you better listen." she pushed her blasters down her holsters. She also made sure here sabre was safe in her side where it wouldn't be noticeable. Her attire disguised her as a rebel officer and she planned to sneak into the base to uncover data.

"We'll go in teams, Jon will take four of you to the east compound of the base. I will sneak in as one of their officers alone to recover their data along with hundreds of thousands of credits." she started. "Then Beethree will accompany the rest to the west, where you'll take care of that side."

As the ship touched down, the two friends met up, preparing for their separation. Beethree twitched a bit as if he was malfunctioning. Jon began suspecting his problem and wanted to calibrate his processors.

"Hey stop that!"

"Don't worry Beethree, you'll be alright." Jon gave her a rifle and a big hug.

"I am not worried I am looking out for you, I'm just telling you now. I do not trust these people." Beethree twitched as she spoke.

"But you're twitching...besides there's nothing to worry about!" he smiled. "We're about to be rich people here!"

"Are you serious?!" Beethree scoffed. "There are people about to die, and you better hope it's not rebel citizens," she left in haste and with a shrug.

A feeling of guilt shone over Jon's face as Beethree turned her back on him. He knew there was something about Jane and her fellow mercenaries. He settled that they were like every other mercenary in the galaxy, only ruthless and aggressive. A lot of credits wouldn't hurt. He thought. The credits from this mission would do great when fixing The Menacor.

However, he remembered Beethree and his big problem. Jon promised to fixed Beethree to her prime state as she was before. So as they departed, nothing would come in the way of those credits. "Well then...gotta get the credits I guess," she shrugged off.

Jasu'lane shook the wayfinder and it began glowing red with its dots visible. She entered a cave next to the base where the object-directed. As she walked inside she ignited her sabre to illuminate the path to where the Holocron would be.

-

As the sun woke up, the teams ran to their positions and began to unleash on the base. As the first attack launched, alarms across the base blared. Agents and officers scattered like ants to prepare defensive measures and manned their turrets to defend the base. As Jon ignited his red lightsabre, the tower scouts called out "Sith! It's a Sith". At that moment, most of the defence shifted towards where Jon was and a war began.

"Wait, guys, I recognize those suits. Hold it!" he barked.

"We don't take orders from you! Only the Dame herself!" one of the men retaliated as the rest blew up an entrance into the building.

"What are you talking about?" Jon asked puzzled.

"If I were you I would get out of here as fast as possible!" he warned.

"Beethree?! You hear this?" Jon called out on comms. "Beethree? Come in!" static rang through. At the other side of the base, Beethree was struggling to get to her comms.

"Jon can you hear me?!" she cried out as her computers began to fritz.

In a moment of desperation, Jon pulled his sleeve revealing a watch. Pressing a button on it he sent an SOS signal back to Yavin as he ran around to the opposite of the base to find her.

-

"What if I took you to the springs of Tukha?" Lam proposed a date with the Mandalorian beside him.

"That one's good but I've been there way too many times!" she sharpened her vibroknife until the ship's computer interrupted. "Hey I think we're getting a signal!" she awoke as she began analyzing.

"What does it say?" Lam sat up in curiosity.

Transmission: [Come in home base, Royebin here. Assistant is immediately needed, we have been played! Man down and assistant needed. Location 38,40 Tarvish of Dromia Prime]

The Mandalorian shook after the transmission cut.

"Hey...Mandy?" he called.

"Yea, I'm alright," she checked as she took controls of the ship and sped the coordinates to Tarvish. "Let's do our job and get out of here fast!"

"Lady, what's going on?" Lam pressed back at his chair as he tugged his seatbelt. "Where we going?"

"Didn't you hear the transmission?! Two rebel agents have been compromised, one hurt and the other being so stupid that he should die!" she barked as she pulled back the hyperspace lever and with ease single-handedly controlled the yoke to slow down the ship.

"So you're a pilot?" he gulped as she gave him a death stare through her helmet.

-

"Beethree?!" Jon slid towards the collapsing bot!

"Jon! Hurry, move me towards that IG-88 droid," Beethree scrambled with a breaking voice automator. "I need to move my memory!"

"Beethree, that's not an option. These droids can't be trusted!" Jon stopped her.

"I'm going to die!" Beethree roared. "Hurry! I can't die...I'm sorry Jon I still have a purpose!"

"Alright," he helped her up to the IG-88 were her droid tool adjusted to the IG-88 transferring her data to the droid.

"Stay here Beethree, something's calling me." He focused on a cave that hummed his attention.

"Alright, but hurry up!"

-

As Jasulane held her wayfinder close to her eyes as her red sabre shone the cave bright. A few steps further and the finder would begin to shut down. If she thought straight, she would've known that this was the final destination. In her anger, she threw the finder and broke it into pieces.

"What is this?!" she cried out loud as her voice tore through the cave in a chambered echo.

"Jane? Is that you?" Jon ran towards her, finding her on her knees weeping. "Hey, heyyy what's going on?"

"He's gonna kill me!" She cried out loud as her mask tore the audio.

"Who?!"

"My master, if I don't get this Holocron. I'm toast!" she continued.

"Well what does it look like?" he got up trying to light up the walls in search of the object.

"Well it's blue and boxy," she sobbed. After a few tried and searches, he couldn't find the object around the cave.

"I can't find it." he sighed out of breath as she continued to sob. "Hey, ok I know a way we can find it!"

"Rid your gloves and let me see your hands," he checked her hands and as they sat across from each other. They meditated. "Close your eyes and imagine the object right in front of you, use the force"

As the two used the force and connected, and out of plain air a spark of light shone between them and dangling in between appeared a blue cube that twirled. As the light became bigger and bigger, they began to see visions. Jon saw Jasu'lanes plans, while she began to see what Padraw was truly planning with the Holocron.

The light began to dim and the Holocron fell into Jasu'lane's hands. Her eyes lit up from the excitement. She explored around it finding a pressure point and pressed it to where the Holocron cracked into pieces and fit around her arm.

"Take that off right now!" Jon barked as he realized what he's been dragged into.

She ignited her sabre and stabbed him right at the collar bone and with the enhanced arm, she punched him. The force out of the punch threw him out to the skidding wet ground where Lam and Mandy hopped out of their ship.

"Lam...go get Beethree!" he moaned in paid as he began to spit blood. "He's an IG-88 over there by the entrance."

"What in the cave buddy?" Lam asked before he dared to run over there.

"A monster!" he coughed his last word as he passed out right on Mandy's arms.
