Fate of Degri

4 BBY, Degri System Star

Mandy hurried into her ship and into the medical bay to try and fix him up. Carrying the growing teenager wasn't an easy task especially when she was wearing a heavy suit. She assigned him to a medical droid and the droid got straight into work. After a few pulse checks, it was concluded that he was still alive but losing a lot of blood.

She watched on as the droid got to work and stared at his face for quite a while until Lam came into the bay.

"Hey what are you standing there for?!" he barked. "Get us outta here!"

"I'm not a pil-" he stopped.

"Lady, I don't care. What you did before, can get us to Yavin in less than twenty parsecs. Get moving!" he ordered as he attempted to call Jon into consciousness.

As Mandy ran through the hallway into the cockpit, she stumbled upon a stabilizing IG-88 staring her down. When her eyes laid upon the droid, she pulled out her blaster ready to destroy the hunter droid.

"Hey, hey! Calm down!" Beethree said in a shaky voice. "Why do I sound like a man?"

"Who are you?!" Mandy ordered.

"Lam tell this piece of nerf-butt to hop off my presence!"

"Lady, you're pissing us off!" he barked one more time as he checked Jon's vitals. "Hurry up you stupid bot, we don't have all day!"

Mandy hurried to the cockpit and fired up the engines. However, as they rumbled...out walked Jasu'lane who now had both arms covered with the Holocron's particles. As the plane rushed to liftoff, Jasu'lane jumped with strength and grabbed on to the plane.

"What now?!" Lam cried out!

"The monster's back! Hold on to something!" Mandy held the yoke hard as Jasu'lane's diamond fingers began tearing through the ship holding it down.

"Hey make sure he's stable," Lam commanded as he grabbed Mandy's jetpack and walked right out the door. Flying out he turned on the jetpack's engines and dangled up and down trying to find his balance. By the time he did, his finger would already fire carelessly. Luckily the blast hit Jasu'lane's mask causing severe heat to her eye; she let go in pain as the ship began leaving.

Lam then fled the scene trying to dodge blastfire from the Degri below as he luckily landed right inside the door as it closed.

"Systems are fully functional, let's call it a close one!" Beethree calibrated.

"You're manufacturer should've died. A stupid death," Lam spit in exhaustion.

-

As Jasu'lane hit the floor, she rid her mask and gritted her teeth in anger. The Degri came running towards their master but found something else. Something way more dangerous, a power-hungry kid ready to get her respect regardless of who was in her way.

"Master, what have you found?" one of them bowed.

"Treasure!" she sighed as the particles of Holocron came together and rested in her hands. Shaping a cube and attaching themselves together.

"What is it?"

"It's the Holocron of Stark!" she smiled thinking of all she could do with this object. "With this, the empire will bow down to us!" They helped her up and took her towards a ship and left the planet heading towards the space station.

-

"Are they alright?" Bothka chimed into the strategy rooms where Sapienza watched as the other agents got to work. He got close to his position to see what he could see and monitor what was happening.

"Yes, they are. But they're scratched." Sapienza groomed his beard thoroughly. "This here is Jasu'lane, she is the Dame of the Degri and whatever she's looking for here we don't know but it knocked out Jon cold."

As he pulled out a feed of the encounter, his jaw dropped in disbelief. Many agents in the base were dying left and right.

"What are we doing about those poor rebels?" he surveyed.

"They have taken steps to evacuate the base to safe homes and we are getting a few rescue squads out there!" Sapienza hurried on and began contacting hangars, sending signals and calling agents to check on the situation.

"Well let's hope those kids are holding up pretty well..." Bothka hoped.

-

As he opened his eyes, he forgot what it was like to see. The medbay was almost dark only flickering of lights appeared near the heart monitor which counted a nice forty. He wondered why he was shirtless but just as he got up he remembered all that he had just gone through.

"Hey hey! Calm down, you'll pass out again!" Mandy hurried to settle him down.

"Woman, don't put your hands on me. Metabolism is my strength so please back off." Jon smirked. "I'm good don't worry about it, but don't tell Lam or Beethree I'm awake."

"It's alright, they're mean anyways," she sighed taking a seat next to Jon. "What happened out there?"

"Well I gave the wrong person a powerful object and now everyone's gonna die!" he smiled in shame. "I helped her, thinking that she was a good guy. But all went away like it's nothing."

"It's okay, we'll get her back!" Mandy assured him softly and charmingly not even knowing what she was doing in the process. "What's in the object anyway?"

"Oh no! The Holocron!" he remembered. "We gotta get to the space station!"

"Wait what?!" she puzzled. "What space station?" she got up to follow him towards the cockpit where Lam sat peacefully.

"Lam signal base one right now!" he barked. "We need the Degri System evacuated!"

"Evacuated? Why?" he came back to reality.

"Because if we don't a lot of people are dying today!" he warned as they all stared. "Don't look, get going!"

"I don't get it, what will a stupid block do to a star system?" Lam asked.

-

"This here is the Holocron of Stark, a Sith artefact representing strength. Enhances the strength of a person to a thousandfold or can destroy entire systems with the proper usage." Bothka briefed the room.

"How do we know it's not fake?" an agent summoned in stupidity.

"That's because in all of my years of being a Jedi have been way more than you being a janitor...so I'm pretty sure I'm right!" he jokingly insulted him. "I've seen this block, put fear into powerful peoples heads!"

"The space station is position near the star perhaps to suck it of all energy and gravitational fields where the planets will spiral endlessly. In the cold!" Sapienza added. "Since it can't do even a moon, with the artefact the space station can probably damage a part of the galaxy for centuries."

"All we have to do now is evacuate all Dromia citizens and get the team toward the space station and take it out before there's no gravity," he warned.
