Nora looked at her father, wide eyed. She peeked at him through the corner of her eyes and her palms was getting sweaty. She tried to reply to him calmly.
"Hehe....dad..nothing is wrong. I just...em...thought this through...and I discovered that I had not been to filial towards my family... There is absolutely nothing wrong"
Lola looked at her daughter and nodded like her head was going to fall off. "What nonsense are you saying? There is absolutely nothing wrong" Lola said, echoing Nora's words.
Leo could only stare helplessly at his wife and daughter.
He knew that they were right and there was really nothing wrong.
But why can't he help but feel that something is off about the situation.
As he was still thinking deeply, a sudden bolt of light made him regained his senses.
He looked up and was stunned to what he saw.
Lola looked at her son in shock. The sudden burst of spirit energy had thrown her off guard and what she saw had simply made her unable to move.
Her son.....
He was breaking through to the blue spirit....
She covered her mouth and looked at the spectacular scene.
Spirit energy was surrounding Ray, twirling around like a violent tornado and suddenly, a bright shade of blue surrounded him, so bright it could almost blind someone.
Nora stood smiling at her brother.
Ray looked at the blinding blue glow around him in shock, still not able to comprehend what had just happened.
"Congratulations, Elder brother, for breaking through to the blue spirit" Nora said, grinning at her brother.
Ray looked at his younger sister, and found himself unable to speak.
He had just drank the tea given to him by his younger sister when he felt a wave of spiritual energy coarse through him, breaking through the barrier that had made him unable to advance to the blue spirit.
He looked at his younger sister and asked"Nora, what was that tea just now? "
.......
Peony Mansion.
An enchanting young lady sat on a throne like chair, looking condescendingly at the man before her.
"Report"
"Young miss, I have found the location of miss No... "
The man had not yet finished his report when the young lady stood up and grabbed his shoulders.
"Really? You've found her?" The lady said, trying to hide her excited expression but failed.
"Yes, I have. She is currently living at Paradise estate with her parents and her elder brother."
The young lady smiled brightly, almost blinding the messenger.
"Okay. But Gray, do you really think she would remember me? It's been so long afterall" The lady said, sadness written all over her face.
"Miss, I assure you that Miss Nora would not have forgotten you." The man referred to as Gray replied.
"Alright,if you say so. But I hope you are right. You may leave"
Gray bowed and left the room.
The young lady sighed.
'Nora, I hope you still remember me'
She thought back to the first time she met Nora.
She was sent by her family to complete a quest handed down from her ancestors so as to be able to qualify for the post of the head of the family.
As she was going, she encountered a dangerous beast. She was almost trampled to death, when, out of nowhere, a young girl of a age, appeared in front of her and struck at the beast with a sharp ray of light that made the beast cry out in agony.
The young girl killed the beast and roasted the remains for them to eat.
The girl treated her wounda and they remained at the middle of the forest until three days later, when they felt energized enough to travel.
So, they separated.
She wondered what the girl's expression will be when she sees her again.
