Chapter 004:Alex

Paradise Estate.

Nora had breakfast with her parents and elder brother before going back to cultivate her powers.

Sitting at the sofa in her room, she wondered what her fiance was doing right now.

Was he also cultivating?

Or was he hard at work?

She unconsciously called out his name

"Alex.... "

"Hmm.."

Nora was frozen in shock. She looked behind her, her eyes landing on a god like, devilishly handsome face possessing an enchanting pair of Grey eyes that looked as though they could see through everything.

"Alex... "

"Yes, my love, I'm here" Alex replied.

Nora looked at him tearfully. In her past life she had lost such a wonderful man who was willing to stay with her through anything.

Alex looked at his little treasure, panic invading his senses as he tried to find out what was making her cry.

"Love, what's wrong? Are you okay? Did anyone hurt you? Tell me. I prom... "

" Alex, nothing's wrong" Nora said, smiling at him.

"Then why were you crying?" He inquired.

"Nothing. I just miss you"

Alex looked at the little beauty in front of him, trying to calm his raging emotions. Her long eyelashes were fluttering and her tearful eyes made her look extremely seductive.

He lowered his head and joined their lips in a hot kiss, drowning her soul in his burning sea of passion.

She closed her eyes and savored the feeling of his white - hot kiss, feeling dizzy.

Her legs went weak and they could not hold her up any more and Alex pulled her into his embrace, holding her tiny waist tightly.

He broke off the kiss, looking extremely satisfied as he held her tight.

They continued staring at each other when they heard a cough beside them.

They both turned their heads at the same time, only to see Lola looking extremely awkward as she shuffled on her feet, uncomfortable.

They were both annoyed at the intrusion but managed to calm their nerves.

"Mom, what are you doing here? "Nora asked, looking as though she wanted her mother to leave as soon as possible.

Lola looked at her daughter's indifferent attitude, feeling extremely hurt and trying to force an aggrieved looked on her face although failing, tried to pretend as if she was the most righteous one there.

So it's true karma is a bitch, Lola thought.

She could remember this same scene happening before, although she was the female lead in that situation, when she got caught with Leo by her father.

But their own situation was much worse.

She and Leo were half-naked when they were caught by Lola's father and his reaction was much worse.

The poor man's face turned so red he had a nosebleed when he saw his teenage daughter wrapped up in the arms of her boyfriend.

Lola looked at the scene in front of her and chuckled inwardly.

'I can see my journey to being a grandmother has begun' she thought.

Smiling at Nora, she said "Nora, when you're through with...em...having....uh...when you're through with what you're doing, come to the study. Alex you're invited also." Lola said, her face flushing red.

Alex looked at his mother in law in satisfaction. He turned back to his 'wife'.

"Now, shall we continue? "he asked Nora.

Nora's little face flushed pink, looking extremely beautiful.
