James Pierce was your average underachiever of the 2000th Era. Age 25, thin, Living mostly as a reserved homebody. His life wasn’t anything to brag about. One day, after getting hit by a truck head on while crossing an intersection, James died abruptly. Family mourned, friends too. But his loss was to be moved on from rather quickly. The man easily forgotten. Centuries later, after a dramatically mysterious event reshaped the world as we knew it, James awoke in the hospital he had died in. Lying in his own phantom blood.
