Li Jing, who is unemployed in a first-tier city, obtains a system where enjoying life can double the amount of money spent.
[Congratulations, host for spending two thousand yuan to enjoy gourmet food, positive emotion one star, return ten times the consumption amount of twenty thousand yuan.]
[Congratulations, host for spending fifty thousand yuan to stay in a luxury hotel, positive emotion two stars, return twenty times the consumption amount of one million yuan.]
[Congratulations, host for spending one hundred thousand yuan to enjoy the pleasure of purchasing luxury goods, positive emotion three stars, return...]
By becoming wealthy through the system, Li Jing finally experiences the joy of life, luxurious spending, perfect service, and transcendent status, all of which make him deeply understand the power of money.
Especially those once unattainable goddesses, due to Li Jing's improved economic level and upgraded social circles, wonderful and unforgettable stories centered around him occurred.
In the top floor suite of the world's tallest building, Li Jing stands with a wine glass in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, overlooking the entire city, and sighs:
"People without money are merely alive.
People with money truly live."
You can notice the Chinese mentality in this article. I also think that many countries are like this. The first thing he thought of when he had money was to buy brand clothes (how much do you need to be brainwashed to think that brands = enjoy life). The next thing he knew was going to a hotel~. It's so vulgar that he doesn't even try to cover it up. Back to the novel. So far so good. There's no slapping. It seems that the writer is trying to mix romance and money but he failed. Anyway, it's worth reading.
This is pretty much the trash you would expect it to be, nothing new to see here. Very few novels of this genre actually make this concept interesting, and even those that do struggle to break free from cliche h*ll. Sadly, too many readers are willing to eat up garbage these days (at times, myself included) so authors keep churning "cuisine" like this because they know it'll at least net them some pocket change. Overall, this novel seems to suffer from ALL the bad in this genre and introduces nothing good or interesting. It takes like 2 seconds for the "ex-girlfriend leaving as soon as MC loses his job" subplot to surface. I wouldn't bother with this one.
