Fast but still useless, Phos

*Cinnabar after dropping Phos off, turns around and leaves not wanting to stay much longer, as Phos sits there until someone stumbles upon them*

*Some time later Rutile and Rain come back from the beach to get some more supplies, since they still haven't found Phos because Cinnabar didn't tell anyone they found them*

"Sigh..."

"I don't think we are going to find Phos..."

"Yeah... We've been out there a long time and found nothing, the only lead we had were the footprints"

"Well, let's get what we need and go back out"

"Roger"

"Honestly, where did you get off to, Phos..."

"WHOOOOAAAAA!!!"

"Watch out Rain!"

*Tap*

*Whoosh*

*Rain almost trips over something in the middle of the walkway, Rutile stares in its direction in shock Rain does a front flip then lands and turns around to see what they tripped over*

"Wooo... That was close... Hey rutile what was that?!"

"Rutile? Hello?"

"Sorry, sorry"

"This is the medical room, you know!"

"Anyway what was that?"

"I think Ruler gave it to me"

"Ruler? You mean the slug thing right? Why?"

"Dunno"

*Phos gets reviled when the moonlight shines down upon them, Rutile and Rain stare at them in shock, as they see Phos has no legs and part of their face is broken*

"Rutile, Rain"

"My legs"

"Argon"

"Can anything be done?"

*Jade comes running from the walkway to the medical room looking for Rain and Rutile, with Sensei not far behind*

"Rutile! Rain! So this is where you guys were"

""We found Phos""

*Jade stops dead in their tracks at this statement, and looks over to where Rutile and Rain are looking and is shocked*

"WHAAAAAAA?!"

--------micro time skip----------

*Phos is on the operating table while Rutile and Rain are putting them back together minus, the legs as parts of the school start cracking*

"Crack!*

"Ugh"

"This ain't gonna be good"

*Shake* *Shake*

*Clatter!*

"Ah..."

"Crap..."

*Snap*

*Crack*

*Snap*

"Se..."

*Crack*

""Sensei...""

*Sensei is slowly making his way towards the medical room with anger plastered on his face, you can tell that whatever is about to happen won't be good for Phos or anyone who gets caught in its path*

""We just put the paste on...""

"Jade! Do something about this!"

"EVERYONE RETREAT!"

"You tough little bastard!"

*Euclase, Red Beryl, Goshenite, and Rain all run behind pillars with the jelly fish while Jade and Rutile stay near Phos, so Rutile can put the last piece back onto Phos, after Rutile puts Phos's face back together both Rutile and Jade run off*

*Sensei stops right in front of Phos as they sit up, Sensei still has his eyes closed but opens them with a smile*

"You..."

'Phos my you not break again for we just put you back together'

*Sensei explodes in anger and shouts with the wrath of a thousand gems causing Phos to break once again, Phos loses their arms as their torso gets bent in all sorts of odd angles, and a bunch of smaller shards get sent flying away*

"IDIOT!!"

"Sorr,"

"-y"

*Phos goes flying off the table but just before they hit the ground Sensei catches them*

"The ocean was scary"

"I'll hear your report tomorrow"

"I'll try harder tomo..."

"And also"

"I relieve you of your current project"

*After Sensei left Rain and Rutile stayed up all night putting Phos back together, as Euclase and Jade fell asleep all that was left where the two pieces of shell given to Phos by Ruler*

"Now then"

"Since we're finally back where we started... What should we do about your legs?"

"Well, I suppose there's not really anything we can do but, stick those things on, though..."

"It could work we won't know unless we try, right?"

"Yes, let's give it a go then"

"In the case we lose part of our bodies, we use something of a similar type that does not contain 'Inclusions' as a substitute. However, we were unable to prepare enough material close to you for two full legs"

*Rain points at the two pieces of shell on the ground near the shelf of supplies*

"We spoke with Sensei, this is even weaker than you are on the outside, but on the inside, it has a form of Quartz called Agate. The hardness level of it is seven"

"It's rough, but if you add and divide it's close to your hardness, so it shouldn't be..."

*Rutile turns to Phos, who is just staring at Rain's hair*

"Rain your hair..."

"Hmm, what about it?"

"It's soooooo bright at night"

"Yes, I suppose it is... Is that it?"

"Yup"

"Are you listening? Phos!"

"I'm listening but... Rain's hair is so shiny, and I'm still kinda shocked over losing my job to actually hear you..."

"Please listen"

"Sensei is making you stop because he's worried about you, our youngest sibling"

"And anyway, every time you do something, you end up dragging all the rest of us into it. Actually, that's probably the main reason"

"Yeah, at this point, I feel so awful I don't think I can do anything but act like I don't care"

"Look here! This is your last job as a scholar, tell us what this thing you washed up with is... We are a little scared to just stick it on you"

*Rutile shows the object to Phos, who stares at it for a little while*

"Uhhh..."

*Phos has a flash back of some of their memories of what happened*

"A... Big shell thing?"

"Oh now that you mention it. Shells sometimes changed into agate, in that case..."

"We could make new legs for Phos can't we?"

"Will these really turn into legs? Will they move?"

"Whether they'll stick and whether they'll move are different matters"

"Whether they move or not, depends on whether the inclusions within you, take a liking to their new home..."

"I hope they move"

"So do I Rain"

"Take it slowly"

*Rutile and Rain start crushing up the two pieces of shell and mixing them together, as they start attaching them to Phos piece by piece Phos's new legs came together, the whole process took three hours to complete by the end of it, Phos had legs with stripes. Rutile, Euclase, and Jade helped Phos stand up with their new legs as soon as everyone stopped supporting Phos they fell to the ground*

"S, Sticks!, it's like I'm wearing really stylish sticks!"

"Except they're rock, and not wood"

"So it's no good..."

"Well don't call it quits yet"

*Suddenly Red Beryl pops out of nowhere*

"Well, just take things easy! They'll move eventually! It's gonna be just fine!"

"I'll help when I'm off work"

"There's no use in worrying"

"Thanks, Red, Euc..."

"..."

*Everyone looks at Phos in shock since they can't remember who Jade is*

"Oh ya new legs..."

"Oh, and of course, you've lost a large portion of your memories along with your legs"

"They were a third of your whole body, after all..."

*Rain puts a stool outside for Phos to sit on in direct sunlight to speed up the process of the Inclusions*

"Once you've had some sun to snack on, I'm sure your Inclusions will brighten right up, too! I'll go make some cute pajamas!"

*Rutile sleeps on the window seal, while Rain sleeps on the other side of the window seal, since they stayed up the entire night and most of the morning to put Phos back together*

"Rain and Rutile will be able to hear you right away if you call from over here"

"Sorry, um..."

"I, it's Jade, don't worry about it"

*Phos waves bye to Jade as they walk away*

------Time skip 2hrs--------

*Phos still sitting on the stool starts getting really bored*

'AGH, now that I'm looking at it, these sure have a weird pattern on them...'

*Phos lifts their leg trying to make it move but falls out of the stoll*

*Thud*

"MOVE!"

'now I'm worse off'

"Than I started..."

"Why..."

*Phos lies on the ground and closes their eyes, then in a sudden burst of motivation stands up. "This is no good! Acting all faint-hearted is," Phos comes to the realization that they are standing up with their own new legs as they look down at them. "Oh" Phos starts doing stretches with her new legs*

"THEY MOVE! YAAAAY!"

*Phos started to run off in excitement now that their legs move*

"Mm, you're too loud"

*Scratch*

"Shaddup I'm sleepy"

*Rain waves off towards the loud voice*

"Dang it, you tantalizing little inclusions... That's why I like you!"

"I was worried for a sec there... Ugh, now I'm scared to sit down"

"I'm gonna go take a walk"

----Pove change Benito-----

"Yaaaaawn"

"Ugh, this is it for me"

"I'm sooo sleepy"

"So am I"

"Well, you sure don't let it show, Nepchi"

*Bentio and Nepchi start playing rock paper scissors to see who gets to take a break first, as Phos runs past when Benito wins*

*Nepchi opens their eyes wide in shock*

"Oh, that's right you looose"

"Someone, just went by"

"Really absurdly fast"

----POV change Yellow Diamond----

*Ring*

*Yellow Diamond is in the process of getting chased down by Lunarians as they shoot arrows at them trying to break them, as Zircon went and rang the bell to alert everyone to come help*

"Ohh, you perv"

"Yellow! I'm back from reporting!"

"Ah, Zircon, good work"

"Oh? Sensei"

*Sigh*

"what a swift arrival"

*Yellow lets their guard drop as they slow down just enough for an arrow to come flying at their head, Zircon charges in and takes the hit getting decapitated and shattering a part of heir leg when hitting Yellow in the face with it*

-----Time skip back at the school-----

*Rutile and Rain jolt awake when they start hearing movement inside the medical room and see Zircon on the operating table with their head decapitated and Yellow at the shelf getting supplies to repair them*

"You don't need to get up, Rutile, Rain"

"Ahh... excuse me, thank you for your hard work"

"Yaaaawn, that was a good nap"

"Yellow Diamond"

"Don't worry about it"

"You guys were up all night with Phos's big operation right? Like I said, it's fine"

"It's alright, Zircon's neck is from an arrow, and his thigh is from a collision with you, correct?"

"Right, sharp as usual, I see"

"Just what I'd expect from Zircon, he managed to minimize the damage, he's so talented, despited being our second youngest after Phos"

"No, he's an idiot"

"ooo, harsh, isn't it Yellow?"

"Nope, hahaha"

*Yellow caresses Zircons head*

"Why'd you have to go and protect me like that?"
