Changing the path of many

It seems that I'm not in the same realm as I was before, I finally found a town and I'm currently staying in an inn. There are a lot of people here so I'm hoping to get a disciple or two. I walked out of the inn and immediately noticed some kids cultivating. 


"Hey, kid. How about becoming a disciple of mine? I know many hidden secrets" I said, but in truth I don't know the first half of anything!


The kid turned curiously, he was around 7 and had practicing since he was 3. He was wary of con artists. "You don't even know what I cultivate, what secrets would you know?"


Uhhhh. Man. He's right. I don't know anything. 


"I'm sure I would, whats your method?" I asked anxiously


"Heaven Plundering." the kid said as he rolled his eyes


"The secret to finding your Dao is a uhhh literal meaning, we must plunder a heaven ranked spiritual beast's territory, you will then make leaps and bounds in your cultivation!" I said nervously


"Uh huh. And do we even have the power to do so?" The kid said with suspicion


"Brat listen to me, I'm the strongest cultivator you'll ever meet!" Alvis said with a smirk


"Really... then you wouldn't mind a spar with my Spirit Absorbing brother?" The kid said laughing internally


"Of course I wouldn't mind! Bring him here! Just don't blame me if anything happens to him."


The kid brought a guy who looked exactly like him, but older.


I immediately dashed towards him with all my speed, I didn't even know my own strength.  He tried to block but something terrible happened, I ran right through him. As in through his body. 


"BROTHER!!!" the kid screamed as he cried. The number one person he looked up to was just killed in a "friendly fight". 


"You did this on purpose! I will never forgive you! For as long as I live I will hunt you and your family tree, then when I die I will destroy your souls!" The kid said crying blood and clenching his fists. 


Of course, I immediately ran. What am I to do? He wouldn't believe anything that I told him. His fault for not believing in my strength heh. I'm not really bothered by his death honestly, just a bit upset that I didn't get an apprentice. 


So I left town and started journeying on foot to the next one, I'll just take it slow this time. I have to make sure I get at least one disciple so I am able to progress further in this method, otherwise I'll die before even getting slight success!


I have to say though, this method is incredibly strong. This confirms it. I'm only on the first stage and I was able to instantly kill a Soul Absorbing 1 cultivator! Though, he did kinda have his guard down. I must complete this method! I can't even begin to imagine my strength at Spirit Absorbing!


I think I'll study on how to con these trash kids a bit better. That last attempt was just embarrassing as well as messy. I need to find a library and study a little while before continuing my quest to get these disciples and create my sect.
