CHAPTER FOURTEEN

EUNJEE

"Doc. Do you think I'm pretty?" Nurse Mimi asked so i looked at her while she made some silly faces which made me laugh. I was actually deep in my thoughts awhile ago, its because earlier today my section chief just gave me the go signal to join the nominations for being one of the head general sugeons. That means ill become a regular, a raise in  salary, more cases, more surgery hours and less trouble from other surgeons and my own funded research.

"You look cute rather than pretty" i told her honestly then she made a pout which made her even cuter. "Aigoo, you're so cute" i pinched her cheeks to which she squirmed.

"Someones feeling good..." Andrea, one of our Orthopedics smiles at me "havent seen you in awhile?" She comments giving me a curious look

"Well havent you heard the news?" I asked her

"Not really, i dont usually listen to chirps chirping but i did hear some saying your working exclusively to some private company" she states

"Well the private company part is true, the exclusive one is not. Im still working as a surgeon here and im still part of this hospital. The president still pays me" I told her

"I guess your as busy as when you were just working here. Why dont we grab some drinks with the other later? Im sure they would want to see you"  she tells me

"I guess thats fine. Ill see you later then?" She nods to me bringing her charts with her.

My phone rings and I saw that it was from the emergency room but i chose to ignore and just go there myself.

*emergency room*

The moment i entered the room all eyes were on me and one of the nurses drop the phone they were holding, maybe its the one they used to call me.

"Doc" one 2nd yeae resident approach me. He doesnt look familiar but I know he works here "Im Doc Kang Sun Yee, 2nd year resident. " he suddenly bows in front of me " We cant reach the on call doctor today and I was instructed by Doc Kim that if anything happens i can contact you since your on duty." He tells me to which i nodded

"Whats the situation?" I adjusted my stet before Kang Sun brought me to the forth bed, he moves the curtain open for me to see the patient. He looks some how familiar but i have no idea who he is exactly.

"Lee Minhyuk age 28, his complaining about severe pain on chest and headache" Kang Sun informed me. The patients name sounds really familiar so i looked at him to see if i could maybe remember who he is or why does he seems familiar to me. Almost forgot that his actually my patient and not someone I should just keep talking.

"Sir id like you to rate from 1-10 how are you feeling right now?" I asked the patient and he looks at me

"Around 7, everything is unsettling" he answers groggily.

I made my initial check up, doing whats necessary before ordering Kang Sun. "Sir we need to take you to CT and make some lab works on you for the mean time ill give you some painkillers for your head." I smiled to the patient before going back to the station and check his chart.

I noticed that some of the nurses were acting all giggly and embarassed at the same time, they were all looking to the patient i just met. They suddenly squeal when the patient looked at them before giving a smile.

"Yah! Whats with all the commotion?" I asked them and they all looked at me shyly. "There are patients around you and your just standing there ogling to some guy who happens to be a patient here as well." scolding nurses and making a point to then is usually not my doing but they were being unprofessional and it ticked me off a bit. They all bowed to me understanding the situation before going back to their work stations. Boom suddenly taps me before handling me a cold drink.

"Whats this for?" I said taking the drink from him.

"Thought you might need it more than I do. The nurses weren't just ogling to someone normal you know " he says leaning on the table.

"What do you mean?"

"Didn't you know who you just met?" he tells me

"His name is Lee Minhyuk and his suffering from severe pain in his chest and his also experiencing headache to which I've prescribes dome painkillers. That I know much." I informed him feeling a bit proud of myself.

"Well his not just a normal Lee Minhyuk guy you know. His the Lee Minhyuk of BTOB"he explains to me to which I still don't have any idea. "You do realize you study too much right? Their like really know here because they are idols." So what his telling me now is that my patient is somehow another person who is an artist and is part of another Korean group which is called BTOB.

"So that explains all the gigglings from the nurses." I look to all the nurses around and they are still smiling and giggling to themselves "Well that doesn't really do good to me except that I have to deal with another artist." I sighed earning a laugh from Doc Boom. "Anyways" I faced one nurse "Please contact the patients guardian" I told her and she nods.

I can't seem to get away from artists this past few days, I could literally take anyone but another set of artist one of this days.

//MARK

Today was our rest day before we shoot the promotions tomorrow for our upcoming concert. We also did our pre recording yesterday so it wasn't so tiring today. The guys were all hanging out in our dining but it was too obvious that we were all not that tired and very much bored.

"Hyung can't we go somewhere? I don't feel so tired today and could really use some fun time" Bambam said to Jb.

"Well we can't because if someone sees us they might tipped some paparazzi and we'll have to spend the day being bombarded again" he says

"or we can just go somewhere private like a bowling alley or a karaoke house" Jackson said

"We can do that and we can contact some of our friends, they might be up for some guys time" Yugyeom suggested

"I guess it wouldn't really hurt us if no one sees us going there" Jb smiles

"Lets go then, we can take mine and jacksons car" I suggested and they all nodded.

We all prepared for our secret hang out and an hour later we were all finally done. Maybe if Bambam didnt try doing his own fashion show while looking for his clothes we would have been gone by now. He literally took all his time looking at himself in the mirror. Yugyeom and Bambam had this crazy way of  entertaining themselves recently, trust me when i tell uou that you dont want to know what they are doing but they are a bit disturbing but also a sight to see.

About twenty minutes later we've arrived in the bowling alley and  got ourselves some bowling shoes.

"Hyung, some BTOB friends are coming" Jinyounh informed all of us. I didnt really took time to invite anyone but if i want someone to be here it would be Eunjee but i know that shes on duty today and wouldnt want to be disturbed.

She hasnt gone back to JYP clinic in awhile, shes been really busy and I as well. I do miss her from time to time but i guess i'll just have to endure for awhile.

I noticed Jb talking to someone on his phone, but what caught my attention was the smile he has on his face while talking to the person. This past few days his been in a lot of good stuff and its really making all of us feel less pressure. It actually eases us all to just see him smile and be all happy and sappy.

"WASSUP WASSUPPP!" I heard someone shouted and when i look back it was Yook Sungjae of Btob together with Changsub hyung and Eunkwang hyung. I guess the others are busy but we were always close with the BtoB boys plus they are always fun to be with.

"Its good to have you guys" i told them while the others hugged them.

"Peniel and Ilhoon are also coming. They are just buying something" Eunkwang said

"I guess the more the merrier right?" Jinyoung said earning a lot of agreement from everyone. We all gather up to decide who are the two teams and end up having a big commotion between us because we just cant decide.

"Hyung" Sungjae suddenly said sounding a bit off which made all of us to look at him "manager just texted me, Minhyuk hyung was brought to the hospital earlier. Ilhoon and Peniel hyung are already on their way there." He sadly told us and we all looked at each other

"I guess we'll have to excuse ourselves from this game." Changsub said grabing his keys.

"We'll come with you" Jb suddenly said with me already taking my keys and preparing to go.
