"You have around 1 minute till you die but if you want to live just say 'Revive Me' okay. Though i dont know if you can hear me.", she said and stood up.
My life was messed up as usual and I could already tell that it wasn't normal so why bother about the consequences. 
'I'll live'
So I whispered ," Revive Me."

Revive Me

My vision was as black as a night without the moon. I couldn't see anything nor hear, feel, or taste.


'I must have died. Ha! Why would even saying something simple as Revive Me save me from an inescapable fate.'


No sooner had I said those word a huge transparent blue window ( like that in a game ) appeared before me.


It was written "Connecting" on the window.


The window then processed various data. I could see my face and Kakami appearing a few times during the process but I couldn't understand the other pictures.


'Wait...isn't this an isekai (another world) type of storyline??!!! Am I gonna be powerful like the main characters ?'


I grinned when i thought of this but the window suddenly stopped processing and became quiet for a second. Suddenly it blurted out :


I clutched my overheated head and thought.


I remembered the unfortunate incident and quickly inspected my stab would. Remarkably it was not there. I looked around and saw my that my house was in a mess.


'So I was truly saved huh....the mess of my house proves that I was assaulted.'


I stood up and immediately fell down. I was really tired and weak. My hand brushed something on the floor and when I looked at it, I found that it was a small chit.


I picked it up and read, "Come over to the shrine at the back of the city after school. I will give you instructions there."


'Well I do owe her and I am curious as to how she healed my wounds so I guess I'll go there. But the way ,what's the time?'


It was 7:00. My school began its classes at 7:15 and my home was 45 minutes away from school.


I quickly changed into clean clothes and hurried off to school without eating anything. 


Well there were weird stuff happening.....


First of all, I was chased by a weird tiger-dog hybrid which was super fast. Thanks to my athletic body I was able to outrun it.


Second, I saw weird people. Like people cosplaying as cat girls, alligators, gun maidens, etc; looking wierdly at me even though the normal people didnt even pay any attention to them.Out of embarrassment I ran.


And last of all, there were huge warships in the air.


So yeah I broke the record of being the fastest man in the world I guess....


Anyway, I reached school just in time and met my childhood friend Yaso Junji.


"Wow, you look exhausted", said Yaso in his ever serious tone.Yaso was my first and the last friend since my childhood days. I was quite annoyed at the fact that my parents were egging me to get a friend. So one day after school I went up to him and said,"Hey wanna be friends?"


He had looked at me with not a single expression on his face and said ,"Ok."


And I dont know how but we've been best friends ever since.


"That's well....", I replied and asked him,"Hey is there a cosplay festival going on?"


"Well there were a lot of people cosplaying out there", I said pointing at the direction of the malls.


"Hm?I didnt see any though. Anyway, homeroom?"


The day passed by quickly with the same old routine. 


'Nothing much happened in class at least. I must have been still daydreaming due the minimal amount of sleep I got last night.'


After the classes ended I remembered the note which my saviour had left, so I went to the shrine behind the city. There was noone there when I arrived so I waited.


A hour later I saw her. Wearing a uniform of a different school, was my savior.


"Where were you? I have been waiting for an hour now", she asked clearly angry.


"Wait what? I've been here the whole time!", I replied surprised.


"Here? Why didnt you activate the game mode?"


"Didnt you get a message when you were revived?"
