The wind was strong, pushing and pulling Fanella like a leaf in the wind. The fire otter couldn't even keep her warm with this wind.
"She is no longer a nice human."Fanella takes a deep breath regretting this decision. Turning away from the Sea she began to walk to where there would be more cover. Stomach rumbling she sighed and leaned up against a tree. She was then out like a light.
Slowly waking up and still disoriented she hears yelling. Then panicked she scales a tree, which is what Light elves do when there is danger. She sees quite a bit of smoke. She jumps from tree to tree in order to find out what happened. Many are wounded and crying.
"What in the…" She squinted to see if there was anything she could do to help. Most of the people were out, but she could still feel the presence of a few. Fanella kept out of sight searching for any extras, many were being helped, but she couldn't tell by who till seeing it.
"Necromancy…" She whispered as the supposed dead looked very much alive. They were moving buckets of water from the sea to put out the fires.
"Necromancy, but good?" She looked for the one controlling these bodies. Being unable to find them, she decided to help put out the fires. She went and got some buckets. Fanella began to get weird looks from the bodies who seemed unsure of who she was and what she was doing.
"What are you looking at?" She snapped at them to which they continued working. She thought to what the lady in the woods said. Fanella had no idea what would make them think she would like it here. She heard crashing and a scream, bringing a bucket of water with her she entered the flames. The fire otter jumped down to run in front of her absorbing the fire as it went.
The bodies that were animated collapsed. She still couldn't find whatever had controlled them. She searched all over with no luck. The fire was blaring though and it took a toll on her senses. She didn't have any burns though, Light elf skin was too tough for that. She wondered if maybe whoever used the Necromancy, since they used it for good, maybe she would be able to find them. A pure heart has pure energy which she was able to find almost effortlessly.
She closed her eyes and felt it calling. She got lucky. Though she figured out what had used Necromancy she froze.
"There's no way." Her voice became scraggly. Despite her fight against the truth there it was a Dark Elf. He had the black hair and gray skin. She began to slowly move her hands to his mouth to check for sharpened teeth. Moving his lips she stood confused.
"This is not like the stories. I wonder what else is a lie." She looked sadly down at the Dark Elf. He closed his eyes tighter and moved his head like he was having a bad dream. Fanella moved the rubble off of him and put him on her back. He wasn't terribly heavy as she moved him towards a hill with many rocks.
"Keep him warm. I don't feel any more alive, I am gonna get some help." Fanella instructed the fire otter who obliged. She placed her hand on a tree and chanted a message incantation. If there were any creatures nearby she asked for their assistance.
Several of the larger fish in Housen Sea popped their heads out to spray water onto the village. A Granite Bear woke from her deep slumber to assist her by stomping out the fire. A few Great Owls helps blow out the smaller fires. Fanella joined them by using her bucket. It took a couple of hours. Many of the creatures needed to rest every once in a while, but fanella never stopped.
Once the fire was put out, she joined the still unconscious Dark Elf and the fire otter. She couldn't fall asleep right away. With the cold wind blowing she sat there feeling homesick.
