Iona's Disappearance

As he woke slowly he was freaked out by the fire otter which seemed to make a home on its lap. It may be in the elf species to be good with all creatures, but he had never seemed to have the knack for it. Many creatures took defensive stances towards him or just avoided him in general. He thought it was probably due to his use of Necromancy. Except for Rock Bears and the creatures that came out during the Spirit Feast, they seemed to not mind Damon.

It freaked him out when they went into defensive stances, usually Iona was with him and so he stayed fearful that it would attack her. Though this little guy was fast asleep and rather warm. Deciding not to test his luck he instead looks around. He knew instantly that he was behind one of the boulders facing away from Housen Sea Village.

The smell of burned wood made him recall a couple of memories. He was helping with another shipment of plants, illegal in many places due to their unnatural properties when a large warrior entered the village looking for a bounty.

Damon told him to leave. Though the warrior disagreed and told him to step aside or many more would be harmed. Assessing the situation he stepped aside and a fight ensued. It was foggy after that.

"Iona?" He looked the other direction and after rubbing his eyes again he found a sleeping girl. Though with the slight fear she was already dead he tried waking her up.

"Hey, wake up. Are you ok?" He jossles her with his hand. When she sheds a tear he speaks a little louder.

"It's going to be alright, wake up." To which she opens her eyes and they both know immediately who the other is.

"You should be extinct." Damon speaks softly, but still loud enough for her to hear.

"You should be a doer of evil with sharp teeth and red eyes." Fanella ended with her side.

"They lied to me?" He begins to get a headache. Seeing it Fanella places her hand on is shoulder and gives him some pure energy.

"Holy! Where did you find that?" He takes a deep breath and looks at her with wide eyes.

"It finds me." Fanella laughs, he reminded her of Maeron. It had been a long night for both of them as they sat in silence for a bit processing everything that had happened in the last 24 hours. Soon Damon realized he still had not found Iona.

"Can you get this thing off of me? I've got to find my sister!" He jolts to which makes Fanella jolt.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He immediately regrets saying it like that. He should be well aware of what a Light elf thinks of him. Surprisingly she smiled as she went to pick up the sleeping beauty and placed it on her lap. Now with the warm back on her she shivered.

"Good luck finding your sister. I am still sore from last night." Fanella informed him, though he was confused. He looked at the burned down village, with some places still standing then back to Fanella realizing.

"You used your precious time to put out a fire of a town that owes you nothing?" He looked at the smiling girl.

"Well I had help." She chuckled.

"I was in the middle how did you find me?"

"Your pure of heart, it wasn't hard. Now go find your sister, she is probably down there among the rubble searching for you." Fanella closed her eyes softly.

"Thank you." He whispered before going down to look for Iona.

Damon had no luck in finding Iona. He kept getting blurry eyes as if his body was trying to tell him something. He took a seat on a log and closed his eyes trying to remember where Iona was. The Warrior came into Housen Sea Village. Damon sent him away. He went after the lord of the land. A fire fight began. Damon used his necromancy to help people out and put out the fire… Then then?

"What happened?" He says frustrated. He then heard the Light Elves voice.

"Keep your eyes closed and focus. This should help." She spoke placing her hand with pure energy on each side of his head.

"He took her? The Warrior took her! Why did he take her?" He slowly got more angry Fanella pulled away.

"Anger is the root of bad decisions. When you first saw this Warrior what was your feeling towards him?" Fanella noticed how he was acting like Rilien and wanted to help him head away from that dark path.

"He was nobel and he didn't make rash decisions."

"If that's the case he must have found your sister and thought you were dead. Maybe he has chosen to look after her, keep her safe."

"Maybe."
