Hope

Fanella's words soothed his anger and he pulled out a little bear Iona had carved for him. Fanella looked at the little figure in awe.

"May I see that for a moment?" She was bewildered by what she felt. It wasn't Damon's heart that was pure, it was a little figure that his sister had made. He handed it to her.

"Incredible, she was able to place pure energy inside of this. I have never seen anything like this. Giving it to living creatures is one thing, but inanimate objects?" Fanella laughed.

"Dark elves can place emotions inside of objects. One time I explained the process because she wanted to be an elf. It was cute, she didn't have magic but she performed the ceremony in her own little way. She may be human but she has the heart of an elf." Damon laughed.

Fanella's eyes grew wide, this had to be the human that could save her species.

"If I help you find her can I borrow her? It is very important." Fanella practically begged. Knowing that she would actually have a chance finding Iona he replied favoring her.

"If Iona is ok with it." He smiled softly, deciding that he would go against the stories he was told of the past and trust a Light Elf.

It wouldn't be much longer till Fanella would bring back the perfect human. One which could withstand any normal test of Light Elves. Once that was done if they were ok with it, maybe Iona would stay and help.

From what she heard about this girl she would be excited. Rilien would realize that she would never do anything against our species and slowly over time change his mind. He would be the king she knew he could be.

An Era of change and acceptance would start with her, it had to. Hopefully the warrior hadn't gotten far.
