Many people were assisting in the clean up. Though it seemed it turned more into a crying place. The storm was finally gone, but the wreckage was much more than they were used to. Many were just happy to find their family alive, others had to make hard decisions on what was yet to come
"Do you remember which way they went?" Fanella follows Damon who keeps throwing pieces of burned wood around. They both know it really wasn't helping anyone. The thing was neither of them had any idea how to track someone.
Fanella could technically follow Iona's purity, but who knows if she had put it into something else like she did the bear. Plus having it be so near might mess up her senses. She decided to let him be while she went to go sit down.
Without having so much pure energy pouring into her she got tired rather quickly. She so wished to go home, but if she went home now she would lose her homes meaning. Maeron was always good with keeping an eye on Rilien. In fact Rilien listened to him more than her.
"It seems wherever you go you just cause trouble." The voice of the lady in the woods informs her. She looked around and finally the lady jumped down from a tree.
"I didn't do this." Fanella shook her head at the idea.
"I was only kidding. Where are you from, I can't place your accent?" She walks closer.
"Rather far."
"And now you are avoiding my questions? How old are you?"
"Older than I look." Fanella squints trying to be the sort of human that is repulsed by such a question.
"Your eyes are interesting? Are you half ogre or something?" She pried again.
"I don't like interrogations. If you want answers from me start giving me answers."
She laughed.
"I guess that's understandable. Let's just start with names. Then later on we can get to know each other better."
"What do you mean?"
"I have an acquaintance who was supposed to come by here. He is a bounty hunter who believed this town might cause him some trouble. You see there is a Dark elf here. It's said he assists the lord of this land with shipments, and is annoying to deal with because he controls the dead. I hear he's heartless and kills anyone who looks at him wrong."
"So you sent me to… What?"
"Get a dose of reality sweetheart. The only elves that exist are Dark Elves and they are evil creatures that kill."
"And if I got killed?"
"There's a war going on sweetheart, no one is gonna miss you. Though hey you are still alive so… there's that." She chuckled before placing her hand up to pet the Fire Otter.
"He doesn't feel safe with you." Fanella informed her before she got closer to the creature. She tilted her head trying to see if this girl was just crazy or out of it. She pulled her hand down, but still out to her.
"Saundra, the huntress."
"Fanella, nice to meet you." Fanella took her hand and then let go.
"Fanella, huh? Odd name." Saundra smiled softly seeing if there was anything else she could get out of this girl.
"Fanella? Who is this?" Damon brushed off his hands of burned wood and placed his hand on her back. Her eyes grew a bit wider as she took a small step forward.
"....A friend from the woods. She was the one who told me to come here. She is looking for someone."
"Interesting, so am I. Who are you looking for?"
"Big, Ugly, chants about... I don't know chivalry? He wears friggen heavy armor just to prove he can." She shakes her head rolling her eyes and her wrist. Damon looks to Fanella.
"We have good reason to believe he took my friend here's sister. We were contemplating how best to track him." Fanella explained.
"Ohhhh, I see. And what have you thought of so far?" She chuckles.
"Nothing of value at the moment. Do you mind lending us a hand?" With that the wind blew showing Fanella's ears Damon moved her quickly.
"Sorry, I saw a bug. Why don't you get a hat or something?" He suggested.
"No need." Fanella smiled taking the Fire otter off her shoulders and placing it on her head to which it adjusted into a near perfect hat.
"That works."
