Who

Dawn arose as Damon left the ogre camp almost more confused then going in. He looked around not finding saundra till he looked towards Ingram to was a small figure walking towards him with a small smile.

"Well you look happy." Damon laughs.

"Its not everyday I get to sleep in a bed and catch up with old friends. So what did you get from the ogres?"

"I don't really know. It was all rather vague. Though they were happy to see a dark elf. They were definately like the stories." Damon chuckled as several birds flew overhead and he was concerned.

"They are scared to fight."

"Ogres? Scared to fight." Saundra laughs until realizing that they really were.

"What about the half human half elven?" Saundra questioned.

"It's better the less amount of people to know. Something about setting the war in stone. They want to meet her." Damon took a deep breath.

"Well we both know that is not gonna happen. She is an elf on a mission. She feels like she is obligated to save them." Saundra remembers her own past and her own drive.

"You are thinking about your past, what concerns you?" Damon had not felt something like this for a long time. A rediscovery of something deep that tormented a soul. Something that once dug up can't be burried for a long time.

"It's just when someone… Its hard to explain."

"Sit. Lets talk."

"Its something that I had to overcome a long time ago. The only reason I bring it up is cause I think it has something to do with Fanella." Saundra explains as best as she can.

"I didn't think you'd bring it up without having a reason to. If it relates to the war in anyway and in this case that includes Fanella or Iona we need to hear it all." Damon smiled making Saundra feel at ease for once.
