DEJA VU

"Are you really coming with me?"

"I have to, I can't get paid if I'm not with you. Also, I would appreciate it if you can tell me more about yourself. What's your favorite food and the like?"

"It's Dragon Fish Fillet."

"That's good, that's good."

One thing I learned from this supposed overseer is that she really likes money. She'll do anything to get information from me and sell it to the Association in order to get some credit.

I should be worrying over her if not for the fact that she doesn't even hide this intention. I don't know why she's doing this but, I can tell that she doesn't really like the Association despite working for them.

We left the Seeker Association of Polaspe and went to the Heaven's Carriage Terminal where we'll board the ship to the Continent of the Elves, Reverie.

"What kind of mission you accepted and why?"

"Do you really need that much information? And why should I tell you?"

"First of all, I need information so that I can give a more detailed report to the Association. As for the second point, you can just think of it as you keeping your life. If I tell the association you're not cooperating, someone else will come and supervise you and you might even get disposed of."

She has a point, being cooperative is indeed something I should. However, in the future, as I recall this conversation, I would find myself laughing.

Because Aria Beluke is not someone anyone can deal with and her mind had already had a few screws loosed that let her bet her life for something she wants.

I can only nod my head to her at this moment.

Polaspe is near the Central Area of Thalius, and the place we are going is a place known as the Dragon Valley.

According to the mission description, C-Rank Seekers and the above can accept this mission.

The reason why I accepted it despite my rank at A-Rank is because of my strength. I am weak, terrifyingly so.

My battle experience is close to none in comparison to the many Seekers of the Association.

I rely too much on my immense mana and my impossibly fast casting. I know not how I should respond to certain situations.

I am too weak on so many levels that it's pitiful.

But I have time, I have time to improve so I'll focus on that.

We reached Heaven's Terminal and bought a ticket for the city of Liros which is nearest to the Dragon Valley.

The Airship we boarded was about as big and could hold a thousand people. It was armed to the teeth with weapons as to ensure safe travel through the air.

They said we're all secured.

And that's good and all, but one the first night in the airship, I opened my eyes despite the darkness as I felt something pressing down on me.

My eyes began to adapt to the darkness, I was not panicked, I could feel no hostility on whatever is mounted on me.

My eyes adapted and an oddly pretty face was the thing greeted me. It was Aria

I looked at her and asked, "What are you doing?"

She tilted his head and answered me with a question "I am mounted on top of you and is trying to seduce. So, I answered your question, now answer mine. Are you seduced?"

I was silent for a moment, but still answered "No."

Hmm, why does it feel like I went through the same thing before?
