I must improve

Bones are all attached, my skin is not lacerated. And my internals organs are all right.

I am fully healed now.

A week after the whole examination thing, everything wrong with me was fixed. My body no longer has any problem and I even reached Dimaon-Grade Rank-2 which was to be expected.

With twelve Mage Channels, my system is abnormal compared to others. If I push myself to the brink of death and somehow survive, my mana will show improvement.

Though I already noticed that it had been slowing down. If I had been in Bronze-Grade, that amount should have already brought me to a whole new Grade.

It's a shame to admit it but my natural improvement and after calculating, once I reach Ocean Pearl or otherwise known as Tier-11 Mage, that would be the time this improvement shall reach a snail pace.

While thinking about this, the door opened and the Aria walked in carrying a basket of fruits.

"Would you like some?"

"Is that not for sick?"

"No, it's for the one who bought it. Which is me, just be thankful that I'm offering you one." She said as she took an apple from the basket and took a bite of it.

"Then, I will you up on your offer, give me an apple."

"100 credit please."

I was left speechless, but in the end, I paid for the overpriced apple. Now that I have a Rank, I am able to access information from the Seeker Database. But I was left with deep disappointment after finding out that there is no information regarding the subjugation of the Illusion Beast.

Tch, it appears that I need a higher rank in order to ensure that I can gather information. I am A-Rank like those Mythril guys.

If they are incapable of raising their Rank, then it must be hard reaching S-Rank or even SS-Rank for that matter.

"It seems like I'll need to find a mission and get stronger first…but…"

I want to take a mission as quickly as possible, I really do, but the Hydras are asking to be released so they can undergo the "Evolution Process" they really need.

Their Evolution Process is very tedious and unsavory to watch.

According to the Inherited memory, Hydras are a being of chaos and destruction, thus only one can exist in every incarnation it undergoes.

The situation right now is that there are four Hydras with me considering there are four different personas of each element.

So, for the Hydras to become a "single entity", the Hydras must split themselves and let them fight. Once all is over, only one of the personas will survive and that one will devour the carcasses of the others.

In short, it's like the one they call the Poison Gu where the most poisonous of animals are kept in a jar and once the jar is over, only the one that's alive will possess the most potent toxin of all.

I want to watch and make them fight it out. I can't find a way to remedy this situation so I'll just ignore it for the time being. Now, let's focus on something of a necessity.

I need to find a mission to increase my rank. And after an hour, I already chose one and was already in the midst of getting ready to leave.

There's no time to rest. I need to ensure my improvement is not halted so as to ensure my safety and life.

If I dawdle for a second, then I will lose that second. Thus, I must not stop and become stronger than before.

Xir had become strong, but we only have a year and a half to be prepared.

With how he's improving, he may be able to reach Tier-9 in this time span, but if that became his limits then he'll die.

I want to venture out of this sanctuary but this is our best choice, Xir is steadily growing.

There's little time before the wake-up.

Sigh, this is a nightmare. But, it seems like he'll soon have a stronger army soon.

Lethias can only sigh as he stared at the throbbing souls of the Monsters that chose to follow Xir.

She smiled as she saw a future where Xir leads them to battle.
