The Bond

After bestowing their names, both apparition starting to glow brighter. They floated to us.
WE ACCEPT YOU AS OUR HUMAN COUNTERPARTS. FROM DAY FORWARD WE WILL ALWAY BE TOGETHER.
Allison grabbed my hand and I squeezed hers in return. Each apparition was absorbed into your bodies. I don't know if Allison could feel the different but I certainly did. The power radiant through my body. My senses sharpened. The white room started to fade out and we were back in the cells.
"Woah that was intense" Allison said. "Who are you telling" I chuckled
I started to hear footsteps coming up the corridor. We sat there quiet, waiting. Then he appeared at the corner of the cell.
"You going to medical, Let's go" he snapped his fingers.
I stood up and walked to the gate. I stuck my hand out the slot where I was cuffed. I walked two steps back for the guard to open the door. He gripped me by the shoulder and pulled me out.
"Watch yourself she is a precious asset." He roared. He guard nearly jumped at his skin.
I turn to Allison " I promise I will be okay. See you later " "Ok".
We walked for a little bit until he broke the silence "You girls seem to gotten close". I didn't reply and stood quiet. He scoffed. Finally at the infirmary doors. The guard uncuffed me and we went in.
"Lay on the bed" the doctor pointed behind her. I lay on the bed and waited. They began a conversation and I tuned them out. Looking at the ceiling counting the cracks. Suddenly I felt a hand on my arm. I quickly turned my head to see him standing beside me. I moved my arm from his touch. His face got angry but he just stood there.
The doctor rode over the ultrasound machine, pulled up my shirt and squirted the cold gel onto my belly. On the screen a small baby appeared on the screen. "Everything looks normal. The baby is healthy and growing beautifully." His face look pleased.
"Would you like to hear the heartbeat" I quickly answered "No." She laughed at me " I wasn't talking to you" I look at him and he said "Go ahead" She played the heartbeat on the screen. I fear became real. I am really pregnant by this man.
I couldn't contain my sadness any longer. Tears and sobs escape me. The doctor face finally showed emotions of concerns. "Maybe it wasn't a good idea" He shrugged "I don't care I wanted to hear my child" The doctor look at me with surprise "Your child?"
With that he turned and left the room. She gave me a towel to wipe the gel off. "I'm sorry" she whispered while her back was turned. "You did nothing wrong. Now I have to take care of this baby." I got off the bed and walk to the door waiting for the guard who finally came in.
We walked back to the cell. Allison already waiting for me. I waited until the guard left and turned to her. "It's really true Allison, I'm really pregnant. The doctor showed the screen to me. It was only because he was there to hear the heartbeat of the baby."
A guard yelled "LUNCH TIME!"
One by one we all walked to the cateria. Everyone got the same except me. This is going to put me in a bad position, but I know he doesn't care.
"Well well well, looks like someone sleeping around is paying off" Melanie came waving her finger at me. Allison quickly defended me
"Melanie come on stop.You don't know anything that is going on". Melanie stop in front of me. Grab one side on my tray and slide it off the table. I did not stop her and let her do whatever she wanted. "So you not going to stop me" "No, Melanie I don't care for such childish action. You can be mad all you want, just don't touch me."
Now we are staring at each other face to face. I guess Bastet couldn't stay still long enough and I could feel her trying to come forward. "Not here, please" Melanie look at me confused "What wrong with you" I stared at Melanie and a growled came out. Allison stood up and hugged me. "Please Bastet this can end bad for all of us. Just endure a little more."
NO SHE IS A PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE DEALT WITH. I moved Allison to the side and stride to Melanie.
IF YOU WANT A PROBLEM I WILL GIVE IT TO YOU. EVERYDAY I WILL BEAT YOU TO AN INCH OF LIFE. LET YOU RECOVERED, WHEN YOU COME BACK BEAT YOU AGAIN UNTIL YOU STOP
Melanie stood there terrified written all over her face. She mumbled under her breathe "I'm sorry."
I turned to Allison and motion her to follow. We both walked to the guard and asked to go back to the cell. I sat on the bed and Allison sat by me. "I'm sorry she really is a pain" I went to laugh and my stomach growl. We both just looked at each other and giggled.
"Once again you didn't eat" A voice spoke from the dark. Our heads snap towards the gate. He stood there eyes glowing bright silver. "Do not worry I will eat at dinner." He slammed on the bars with a tight grip. The rattle echoed loudly. "Get up and come with me!" He yelled.
I got up from the bed and walked close enough were I couldn't get grabbed "No". His eyes widened with surprised "No?" I shook my head "No and I don't need special treatment. It's only going to put a target on my back for others." He tightened his hold on the bars "Fine" he walked away.
I took a deep breath in and let it out. Allison walked to me "Are you okay". I turned to her "Yeah, I'm going to take a nap until dinner." I laid on my bed and Allison came into my bed "What are you doing?" She held me tighter "Being family, now go to sleep" I cried a little and held her back "Thank you.. "Sh just rest" with that my body grew tired and my eyes closed.
