"DINNER!" the guard yelled.

We both jumped at how loud it was. Only because he was standing at our cell looking at us. "Well, I guess I know why you girls always together". We just rolled our eyes and got up. Waiting to be escorted to the cafeteria to eat dinner.

This time Melanie and Carlos were sitting at the table where we always sat. I sighed and just turned to get my food. Allison already in line grabbing her food turned around and saw the situation that was about to begin.

"Melanie, why can you…" she was cut off "because she acts high and mighty" Melanie blurted.

"Who does?" I questioned

Melanie looked me in my face "you do and it's annoying" she continued "just because he's been fucking you, doesn't give you the right." In a blink of an eye I had her by the throat, Bastet coming to the surface

Fear etch on Melanie face "What the fuck are you". Before Bastet could speak Melanie wrapped her legs around my arm, flipped me onto the table. Staring at her upside down, with that smudge look on her face.

"Melanie stop now or we all going to get in trouble" Allison yelled.

I slowly got up and grabbed Allison shoulder and moved her to the side. Allison pleaded with her eyes. "Eclipse, you can't". I strolled up to Melanie and asked just one question "Are you sure this is what you want?" She scoffed at the question and straightened up "I am Melanie and I am splice with the Blue Monkey gene".

"Fine" the only word that left my mouth. Melanie jumped into the air towards me. When she got closed I kicked her right in the chest. She fell on the ground with a loud thump.

"You think we should intervene" Carlos looked nervous. "There is nothing we can do, Melanie did this to herself" Allison stared at us.

Melanie got off the ground and jumped at me again. I slapped her back down and bent down resting my arms on my knees. "Melanie this is a fight you won't win" she swung her fist at me and I blocked it and smack her on her forehead.She got up and just stared at me "Fight me seriously, you bitch!" She yelled. I just sighed "Melanie there is only a few of us here now. Look around you" I gestured around the cafeteria. She followed looking around "So what just because he favors you, you haven't been in the arena. It's not fair we are all dying". A sharp pain hit my chest and I clutched my shirt. Allison ran to me "Eclipse are you okay" she looked worried. "What is going on here!" A guard yelled. Everyone stiffened. "Nothing I spoke, we are just talking about the arena fights". Melanie and Carlos both looked at me confused. With that the guard turned around and left saying "keep it down".

"Why did you lie?" Carlos questioned

"Because.. I was cut off my Melanie "We don't need your protection" she pointed her finger at me. I just roll my eyes and sat at our table. "Go get your food and come here after you done" Authority in each word. They nervously went and got their food and come back to the table and sat down.

"What do you want to say" Melanie said

"I'm only going to say this once Melanie" I picked at my food without looking at her "Next time we have another issue", Bastet voice combined with mine and I looked up at her "I WILL KILL YOU" Melanie and Carlos eye widened in terror. "What are.." I cut him off "People keep asking me that a lot. I'm pretty sure I'm the monster everyone thinks I am" I stare in his direction. He shivered and began to eat his meal.

Allison sighed and finally spoke "Eclipse, this is Carlos, his splice gene is a golden dragon" "Dragon huh" I said looking at him. He turned red " Allison don't introduce me I can do it" I smirked "That's cute" Allison chuckled "He sure is". Carlos turned redder and looked down and started eating his food.

"Ew" Melanie stabbed her chicken. " That's disgusting" she said staring at me. "So why is he so obsessed with you".

I stared at her, I could feel my eyes change. She squirm in her seat being uncomfortable in the sudden eye change. "He's not interested in me, but my splice and what she can give him" Melanie tilted her head "before you say anything else, you should know he raped me 3 weeks ago and I'm pregnant now." Melanie jaw dropped "what the fuck he's a monster" I stared at her "I know".

The doors swung open with a loud boom.

We all turned our head to the source and there he was the silver eye man. He strolled up to our table. Everyone sat up straight " So the guard told me you had a fight" he stared down at Melanie. She put her head down like she knew it was coming. He gripped her by the hair and flung her. "YOU'VE BEEN WARN PLENTY" he yelled. Everyone put their heads down except myself and Allison.

He walked up to Melanie and went to grab her again but I got to her before him. He stared at me angry "Why are you protect this stupid monkey" he jabbed his finger into my shoulder. I smack his hand away "it doesn't matter, are you going to hit me too?" He faltered but raised his hand and slapped me across the face. "I think I've been too nice to you. Someone is getting cocky". He grabbed me by my collar and dragged me out the cafeteria. Before leaving I looked back and smiled at them.

"Melanie you better be thankful, she literally sacrificed herself for your stupidity " she turned looking at Melanie, eyes glowing green. Melanie and Carlos were scared as Allison stood in front of them. "If she comes back hurt, I will beat you to an inch of your life" Allison came face to face with Melanie.

Melanie gulped at the threat. She knew better than to play with Allison and just nodded. "Tell her I'm sorry for everything" with that she turned and left.

"Did she do something to you?" Carlos questioned. Allison nodded "She helped me fully connected to my splice". Carlos was stunned "How can she do it for others.. Allison stared at him "Shut up they don't know the powers she got from her splice". Carlos shook his head "sorry". The guard yelled "dinnertime is over" everyone got cuffed and sent to their cells.
