RIP Put

Drazon was sad for the next few days as they escaped the territory to head to the desert. The queen kept trying to cheer him up, but it was to no avail as Put was like a father to him and more fatherly than his father. 

Even when Drazon heard that his father the King had died trying to protect their territory, Drazon didn't feel any kind of emotion towards him as they were never close. The queen wondered what happened with Judea and hoped that she was okay. 

Judea had betrayed the whole clan, but only the Dragon King and Raja knew about it. The small group had finally made it out of the forest as the intense heat of the desert greeted them. 

Drazon started to feel comfortable in this desert, but the Queen and Issa, on the other hand, were very uncomfortable. They never liked the heat as both their powers were involved around the cold and water. 

After eating the Phoenix fruit, Drazon had evolved his fire element by leaps and bounds as he was able to control fire even easier, and his resistance to heat also went up. The Queen decided to find an excellent hiding place for them to rest. 

The Queen knew that her ice element was fragile in this desert, so she needed Drazon to be fully recovered to help her with the battles ahead. 

They eventually found an ice cave, and it was well-hidden from the public's eyes. They made their way inside as the queen quickly lit a small fire to see where they were going. 

They continued to go deeper into the cave, which surprised the group because from the outside, it looked like a small cave, but once they entered, it was quite huge.

There was a long narrow path leading into a place where the group had no clue where it led to as they were going deeper and deeper. The Queen should have stopped and just rested at the entrance of the cave but decided to take a quick detour to see if there were any treasures.

Once they were more in-depth in the cave, there was a small breeze that had blown out the fire that was lit by the queen, when the fire went out, the place was utterly dark. Just when the Queen was about to light the fire again, Drazon told her to stop and lookup. 

Drazon had sensed that there were life-forms above them as they looked up and saw hundreds of glowing eyes staring at them. They got terrified, but the Queen wasn't as she knew what was lingering up on the ceiling.

The queen told them not to panic and that it was just a bunch of weak Bat Boys and Girls. The Bat People had a bat-like head with a child's body and wings. They had sharp teeth to dig into their prey and suck their blood, but they are known to be extremely weak alone, but very dangerous when they had a lot of them. 

Due to the cave being cold, the Queen's Powers were amplified as she started to freeze over the whole crowd of Bat People. Drazon was slowly getting his strength back after he had entered the desert he had absorbed quite a bit of the heat energy to heal his injuries quicker.

After the queen had killed all the Batboys and girls in that area, they continued to move on forward, but they didn't want to venture too deep into the cave until Drazon recovered fully, so they made camp and relaxed for the time being. 

Drazon couldn't believe all that had happened at the start of the tournament as he took out the water fruit and looked at it, pondering whether he should consume it now. The Queen looked at him and said that "this would be the best time to consume it while you are in a cold cave you should be able to absorb the energy even faster.

Drazon nodded his head and consumed the fruit right away as his skin turned blue for a quick second before returning to red. The place was no longer cold to Drazon as he had absorbed quite a lot of cold energy. 

For experiment purposes, Drazon shot out a water ball that quickly froze over after he thought about it being frozen. The Queen clapped her hands and said: "finally another ice user." Issa, who was also supposed to be an ice user, had remained a water user causing the Queen to be quite disappointed as she wanted somebody to train with to pass down her ice skills. 

Now that Drazon had the talents to learn Ice, The Queen was quite excited as she thought that this cave would be the perfect training grounds, especially with so many enemies lurking in the shadows. 

Drazon would be able to use them as battle experience after Drazon had healed up. They continued further down the cave as they ran into some more Bat Boys and girls. The little crew slaughters their way through them as Drazon was getting used to using his ice element and his newfound boost to his fire too. 

They were using ice and fire to attack and sometimes electricity when one element energy ran out. In this world, they had separate energy banks for each element. When one energy, for example, fire is all used up, they're able to check into another elemental bank like water and use up that energy too. Still, once all the energies are used up, that's when they go into a negative energy state and are weakened to the point of not being able to move as much as they did before they had the energy. 

After a long battle with the Batboys and girls, they were able to finish that area full of enemies. They rested to replenish the energy that they used this time. Issa had joined in the fight since these beings were quite weak. 

Issa was also motivated to train now and didn't want to be useless to the group. Issa's water element had healing properties, so she was more of a supporter than an attacker. If she were an attacker, she would have ice elements, but those with water elements either sometimes had attacking water elements or supporting and defending. 

For example, the Queen had an ice element. Still, she wasn't able to heal with her water element, after seeing Issa learn how to recover from these continuous battles with the Batboys and girls she got excited that she was able to have a healer around finally, and thought if she had learned it earlier Put probably would have survived. 

Now the queen was glad that she had awakened her powers while they were in need. The Queen had a lot of injuries on her, so Issa was able to heal her and stopped most of the bleeding, which she was grateful for.
