Survival Training

On this special day, Drazon and the other rookies were being led through the desert heading to the sealed cave for some survival training. There was a big deep hole that was the entrance to the cave. They could all go into it by climbing down with a rope or falling down. 

A rope would be thrown down for two days after a month of training whoever doesn't make it within those two days would be assumed to be dead and no one would come back down until the next training. 

Gina tossed down the rope and got them ready to climb down. Gina started giving them info on the cave and how to survive, Gina told them if they died in the cave they would become undead so nobody wanted to die after getting the info on the cave. 

Sim, Dory, and Drin, the aces of the scorpion clan also came along for the training. After saying their goodbyes to their parents and their trainers they all started climbing down the rope and heading into the sealed cave outer areas hoping for treasures and advancements. 

As they climbed down they were six feet from each other as they slowly made their way down the long black hole. They started to feel a little eerie after reaching halfway point down the rope. Dory immediately felt like climbing back up but Drazon was right above her blocking her way. 

Drazon used his tail to pat Dory's head indicating that she should keep going. Dory could only shake her head as she toughened up and kept going down. They eventually reached the bottom where the eerie feeling was stronger and it had a graveyard vibe.  

Sim, on the other hand, was grinning as he said "time to level up guys'', he ran away hoping to get some battles in. Dory asked Drazon if she could stay with him which Drazon simply shrugged as he said " fine but don't get in my way and I won't protect you if anything happens which would jeopardize my life". 

Dory simply nodded as the others all went their separate ways. The cave had purple walls with a lot of space in between, some walkways were narrow while some had giant spaces with small ponds in it. They would hear some undead shouts from it and at the same time some pounding sounds coming from deep within the cave. 

Drazon and Dory after walking for quite some time had finally seen their first enemy, an undead scorpion clan member was slowly walking towards them with one of his feet turned the opposite way, at the same time its skin was rotten and smelled like death. 

Dory screamed when she saw the undead which quickly alerted it as it started to scream calling for other undead's, alerting them that there were enemies in their territory. Three more undead showed up as they slowly approached Drazon and Dory. Drazon frowned at this and said, "you're already putting me in danger just back me up". 

This caused Dory to cover her mouth as she apologized. Drazon made quick work of them by shooting fireballs at them as they all burned into ashes. Due to the level difference, Drazon was able to kill them off easily since they were only a level one. Drazon was excited that he was able to easily defeat them as one of their weaknesses was the fire. 

They continue down as more undead start to show up, mostly scorpion clans on the first level and the deeper they want the stronger the undead get. Drazon and Dory started to see different clans the deeper they went like the worm, rat, bat, hogs and more. 

The battles were starting to get harder and harder as they progressed and since it was their first time they didn't know how to pace their selves or protect themselves when it was resting time until their third day when they reached the stairs to the second floor where it was a resting area as they discussed how they were going to move forward. 

They would rest after slaying two groups of undead. They started exploring the second floor when they met up with an aquatic undead, the fire was not working on them so Drazon had to change up from the fire to electric attacks causing the undead to slowly die from the electricity." Electric Shock!"  shouted Drazon as he blasted away all the aquatic undead's.

After getting rid of all the aquatic undead's, the guys sat down to rest. Dory had Stars in her eyes as she had watched Drazon eliminate all the undead. Dory was a strong warrior but she didn't like fighting the undead, she was pretty much scared of them but her trainer still made her come to the sealed cave saying that she had to toughen up. 

Drazon was breathing heavily as he shook his head and looked at Dory asking her if she was going to fight at all in this place. Dory nodded her head and said that she will be his backup if he was ever in a pinch, she would help him out. Drazon could only shake his head as he continued to rest before they could get bombarded from the undead again. 

While this was happening all the other rookies were slowly slaughtering their way deeper into the cave and the deeper they went the higher-level the undead became. The rookies were smart enough to take their time and slowly advance because they had a whole month to stay in there and level up as they gained experience in battling several opponents. 

This is why the Scorpion clan were so dominant in wars, they were used to battling multiple opponents at the same time and in this cave, they couldn't even rely on their poison as the undead were immune to it so having the poison attributes during wars was just a little bonus that they could use during the war in case they were ever in a pinch. 

After a few minutes of resting, Drazon stood up as he looked onto Dory and told her that it was time to go. Dory also got up and got ready to follow behind Drazon. As the days went by they continued to make their way deeper into the cave as it became harder on them when they got to the second floor. 

Drazon was enjoying himself as he kept killing undead, Drazon started to become quite the killing fanatic as he smiled while shooting out his projectiles and using his claws to slash off the undead's heads. Dory had eventually finally joined the Drazon in killing and training. 

After a whole week of fighting Dory was able to kill undead alone. There was no sand located in the cave so it was hard for her to use projectile attacks but her time stopped still working and that was the only reason she was able to survive from the undead sometimes. Drazon still had to help her out sometimes especially when two undead ganged up on her which made him frown as he thought this girl is holding me back from training so I have to ditch her.  

Drazon would feel bad if she got killed as she wasn't the offensive type especially with no sand in the cave. Dory was practically useless and could only use her time freeze for defense. Drazon thought about that and quickly told her that she should find some offensive ways to use her time stop but she said that her endurance is not high enough to use it for an offense. 

As soon as she moves around too much it drains her energy even faster. Drazon came to an understanding and he said "then you have to train your endurance from now on. You will train your stamina with me every chance we get from now on". Dory nodded her head as she didn't want to die in this cave. Due to the cold on the second level of the cave Drazon's ice moves were able to level up as he kept freezing undead over and over again. Drazon had become quite efficient in using his ice moves.
