A Brother's Pain

Third Person's POV

" What deal?" she asked hesitantly and Rahul not wanting to be shoved back by her, stepped away, giving her a mischievous look. And she wasn't liking that look one bit.

" Go out for lunch with me" Rahul declared squaring his shoulders, grinning from ear to ear.

" What?" she snapped in disbelieve.

" You heard me, darling. A lunch hang out in exchange for my forgiveness. Do we have a deal?" he looked at her expectantly, hoping for her to say yes. But she, on the other hand, wanted nothing but to choke him to death.

" Are you kidding me? Is this some kind of a stupid joke to you, you stupid dumbhead!?" she so wanted to holler that out but she didn't want to give him the impression of her tolerating his existence. Which, in reality, was a known fact. So, she settled for something which sounded less offensive.

" Rahul, did I not tell you that I needed space?" she spoke calmly trying to not lash out on him and make things a bit more clear to him.
