Aizhe felt helpless. She took a deep breath in and calmly sat down to continue her breakfast.
The breakfast was cold by now, but oh well, it was better than not eating.
Aizhe calmly took her fork and calmly sliced out her omelets. It was so good! She took a couple more bite and reached out to drink the orange juice next to her.
"Mother, look, this is how shamless she is.." Lina stood up and stepped forward, trying to embarrass her.
Knowing this kind of game, she sighed at the swarming people and their gazes. Why was she ridiculed if her uncle was the one to make decision? She wasn't the evil here. In fact no one was!
Aizhe was a really cheerful girl and she was kind. But if someone was to take advantage of the fact that she was overly kind, then they were wrong. She wasn't the one to be played around with. She was tired of listening and ignoring Lina's word for the past two weeks. She was so ignorant and full of herself.
"What? Now that you have Dad's support, do you think, you could do anything, well let me tell you slut, you are nothing more than a low class white and white lotus bit**. Keep this in your head, this house has only one daughter, and that is me! "
"Lina, why are you wasting your breath on this low class woman? Let her be! She is nothing more than a dirt in our shoes."
"Humph, uncle and his family are well respected. Why are you trying to prey your filthy hands on their house?"
They kept insulting and Aizhe soon felt headache. She couldn't sit and listen to thier blabbering.
She faced them with her deep gaze and stood up. She moved forward and stood against Lina.
"Lina, are you insecure? If not, then I agree with 3rd cousin. You shouldn't waste your breath on me.."
She faced the three others who spoke against with her chilly gaze and smirked.
Honestly, who are you? I am atleast close relatives of my uncle..what about you? What was your name again?" She turned around and her gaze calmed down. The darkness in it dissipated a little.
She sighed and decided to not let the matter get worse. She looked towards Brother Chen and Zia. She went towards and with a knowing look, looked at him. He understood her and let her pick up Zia. It was her playtime, and she wouldn't be able to play with no one else. It wasn't her place anyways.
Lina felt a vein popping in her forehead. Who was this girl? How dare she? Why was she taking her authorities. No one ever dared to talk to her like that! She was Li Lina!
Feeling her anger blowing up, she ran infront of Aizhe like a wind and slapped her across the face. No one knew what went wrong! All they heard was the thundering sound and the red handprints it left.
"Auntie Ze.." Seeing her aunt slouching down the floor like that, Zia's eyes filled with tears. She went forward her face and hugged her necks.
Cheng Meng felt her heart drop all the way to her stomach. She went towards Lina and stood next to her. She hed her shoulders, and shook her backwards.
'If Li Hua got to know about this matter, Lina will be done for.'
Aizhe stood up and took hesitant steps. She touched her swollen cheeks, her hearts drumming a million beat per minutes. She didn't think she would be hated this much for becoming a Li. Worst of all, be slapped like this!
She looked down at Zia and calmly wiped her tears away. She smiled and held her up.
"Auntie is fine, don't cry Zia baby." She calmly comforted her.
The shrieking voice of Lina spoke up. "You crazy whore, how dare you show attitude to us?" She nearly snarled her words, her eyes gleaming with venom.
"What is wrong with you, Lina?" Lina hissed in pain, when she was harshly gripped in her forearms by Li Chen.
He couldn't ignore this matter anymore. She was getting out of hands.
He yanked her closer to Aizhe and to the crowds.
"Apologize now!" He grounded his teeth in anger and looked at her in dissatisfaction.
"I won't! Let go of me..mother.." Lina winced in pain, looking towards her mother for help.
She would never give this bit** the satisfaction of seeing her in pain.
She tugged her arms back, but his grip was too tight and almost unbearable.
"Apologize now or you know the consequences well, Lina!"
"Chen, let go of her..what are you doing?" Chen Meng came forward and tried to separate the two.
"She is your sister!" She added, looking at him.
"Mother, Lina is wrong to slap Aizhe! She has to apologise now! Day by day, her behavior is getting worse.."
"This lowly rat is trying to separate our family members and you are insulting me instead of her?"
Lina seethed, her eyes flaring with anger. The fire in her eyes were enough to burn Aizhe.
"It is okay, brother Chen." Seeing the matter getting worse, Aizhe came forward and calmly looked at Li Chen.
She held on to Zia's hand tightly, and with an indicating gaze, smiled.
She moved forward to the door and when she reached the bottom stairs, she paused. She looked back and with a warning gaze looked at Lina.
"Lina, you have slapped me today. Consider yourself lucky today, I promise to repay that favor of yours soon!
The aura around her was impeccable and her face was beyond alluring. She stood dignified. Her eyes trailing over the haughty and confident women in the rooms, like she was trying to scan their looks.
The males in the table looked at her and swallowed back their saliva. She was too feisty to their likings.
How was she a middle class? she had the posse and aura of top class lady! She was charming and confident. Even more so than this Lina who kept embarrassing herself!
The aunts scowled and glared back at her, when they noticed their sons looking at her like she was some sort of honey and they were bees.
Without caring about their different face reaction, Aizhe turned back and went straight towards the main gate with Zia clasped tightly in her hands.
Lina scowled and roughly pulled back her arms back.
"Don't be so overconfident, bit**!"
She glared back at her, not liking the way she was silenced. She looked at everyone in the room and angrily stomped her feet towards her room.
She couldn't believe how her own family members were betraying her and supporting that low class bit**!
Seeing Lina run like that, Cheng Meng ran after her.
"Excuse me, Father and Mother, I will go and look at Lina!"
Noticing the tension in the air, the families excused themselves and promised to come back on the welcoming party. How could they miss the drama that would unfold that day. The auntie's all knew there were wealthy, powerful and incredible bussinessman's. They soon left and the room was left empty.
