'Sorry..'

Ah Si looked around and saw their reluctance. He then spoke up. "Mr. Li, it will be better if the banquet is canceled right away." Ah Si said, worriedly pacing around as he looked at the painful sight of his woman in pain.

Mr. Li looked up with his heavy eyes and trembled slightly. He looked carefully at Ah Si and wondered what went wrong...

Ah Si looked at him and went forward. He carefully reached out his hand and stabilized him. "Mr. Li, we don't have much time.." He glanced at Aizhe and noticed that her body was trembling too much and her blood was gushing a lot too. He couldn't take it anymore as he clenched his fist and angrily looked at the hall.

Noticing his deep gaze, everyone trembled and they all backed out. They watched as his long legs carried him to the center of the room, where the chandelier laid on top of the frail girl. It was surrounded by blood everywhere.

The wind fluttered and the black suit draped over Ah Si was damp with his own blood and it made him look scary and distant.

Ah Si looked around and understood the situation really well. He put consideration into Li's reputation and concealed his emotions. Paparazzi and media were present at this banquet and tomorrow morning news was going to be filled with tonight's incident for sure. Aizhe has taken too many risks for this party and he didn't want to ruin her efforts.

He looked at his bodyguards that came one by one and indicated them to take care of everything

" Distinguished guests, the banquet is over. Since we have an unexpected accident over here, we can't show you the way out, please proceed one by one." The bodyguards didn't show a slight bit of emotions as they told them to leave.

The people at the banquet were stunned at the scene that had unfolded before them. They were shocked at Ah Si who was showing emotions for Mr. Li's recently known niece.

They held their breath as they shivered at the sudden drop of temperature, and held back their curiosity.

No one had a word to speak when it came to any member of the Ah Family..especially him.

The banquet hall that was filled with cheers and talks earlier was now replaced with sobs and grief.

There were only the Ah bodyguards, Aizhes family members, and relatives. Ah Si looked around and ran a hand through his hair. He walked towards Aizhe and noticed the small but heavy chandelier. The chandelier didn't drop on to her whole body but rather on her hips and leg area. Noticing that, Ah Si felt relieved. He looks at Mr. Li who was on the verge of a breakdown.

"Father, are you okay?" Lina came forward and asked while squatting to check the girl. Mr. Li looked at her and looked away. He couldn't trust anyone in this situation, not even his family.

Cheng Meng also reached out and pretended to be really shocked as she covered her mouth.

"Darling, this.." She gasped and turned away, shutting her eyes tightly.

"Aizhe, can you hear me? Look, I came. I will take this away, okay?" Ah Si ignored the two and looked at the almost passed out girl. He tried to keep her awake as she had lost a lot of blood and it was necessary for her to stay awake.

"Si..you are still here?" Aizhe looked at his face and her tone was filled with pain and agony. She seemed to be in an uncomfortable position, as her body laid sideways and the middle part of the chandelier made her legs and hips stuck. The bodyguards kept pushing the chandelier slowly but nothing was working.

Li Na looked at Aizhe and Ah Si who seemed like they were lovers. She looked away as she held her clenched fist. She went forward and tried to show pity as she held his shoulders, but he immediately brushed it away. He frowned as he held on to Aizhes hand tightly.

Lina covered her mouth in shock and trembled slightly. She didn't expect him to push her away like that in front of everyone.

A few relatives snickered at the embarrassing Lina and her attempt to flirt even at this moment. Some even thought she deserved it as all she knew was to bully and take advantage of her power to boss others around. They felt happy when they noticed her helplessness and shocked expression.

Ah Si ignored their reactions and looked at Aizhe instead. His gaze was filled with warmth and anyone who looked at him could see the love and affection he held in his eyes for her.

Her crush was also taken by Aizhe? ... She felt heartbroken and didn't want to see anything anymore. She clenched her hand as her tired figure slumped forward. The banquet door opened and her frail figure left through it hurriedly.

---

Not wanting to see her more in pain, Ah Si stood up and pushed all the struggling bodyguards away. Mr. Li looked at the young man and he felt curious.

Cheng Meng looked at Ah Si astonishingly and exclaimed inwardly. She didn't notice Ah Si before as his back was in front of her, but now that she saw, she felt shocked. In a reflex, she looked for Lina and realized that she had left.

"Where did she go?" She looked around for Lina and when she couldn't find her, she realized she left. She sighed and left the banquet too. She didn't care about Aizhe --who was in a death-like situation, but rather, her daughter who had left the banquet in a hurried manner.

"Son, what are you up to?" Mr. Li stood up and looked at him with an alerted gaze.

Ah Si took a hold of the chandelier and with all his power tried to life it off. Feeling the tremendous pain in her lower body, Aizhe screamed really loud. The pain was so agonizing, that she felt like killing herself already to not feel anything was better.

She pulled her hands out and held on to Ah Si's legs. She shook his legs slightly to make him stop, but he continued and apologetically looked into her eyes.

"Hold on Aizhe, you will come out safe."

"Mr. Li, should we call for help? This won't help.." Cheng Fiao, Cheng Meng's father came forward to ask.

"Hold on, I trust him. He won't hurt my Zhe." He raised his hand to stop Cheng Fiao.

Aizhe looked at Ah Si and murmured something inaudible. Not being able to take the pain anymore, she passed out on the cold floor.

The chandelier was way too heavy so it took a while to take off, but he still didn't give up and continued to move it. He looked at her passed out body and his heart felt guilty. His deep eyes showed reluctance.

'Sorry, I had to do this..'

---

After what felt like an eternity, Ah Si was finally able to take the chandelier away. He saw the girl that laid limply on the floor, with blood everywhere. Her beautiful brown hair was filled with her blood and her face was pale like a sheet of paper. Her brows were furrowed and her body shook slightly. He was lost, panicked slightly and he dropped to the floor to get a good hold of her. He stood up with her.

He grabbed her shoulders in hopes of steadying her feet, but soon dropped the idea when her feet gave up underneath her. Worriedly he took off his suit jacket and placed it on her. He ensured she was covered everywhere and then held her from the waist to carry her like a princess.

He never held a girl before so he carried her a bit too high. His posture and body were really awkward, and he looked ahead with his deep gaze.

His long legs strode forward and he soon left the room like a wind. He didn't look back and kept moving as he reached his car.

Mr. Li noticed the situation was much better and he let out the breath that he held on to for too long. He calmed down a bit, wiped his salty tea,r and looked at the door. When he saw his assistant that was coming towards him, he looked at his relatives and apologized.

"Please, keep this matter between today. I hope you will not do anything that will cause the Li's to look down in shame."

Everyone looked at him and left the room almost immediately. When the hall was empty, Mr.Li looked around and took out his phone with a trembling hand.

With a deep gaze, he spoke out with a raspy tone.

"Can I speak to Mr. Mo?"
