Pieces and pieces of the same shiny metal were everywhere. No one knew what went wrong, all they saw was a huge chandelier that fell down.
And the pregnant girl being pushed away to the man's arm.
Everyone panicked and no one knew what to do. As they went around the chandelier and looked at it. One of the guests caught the huge chandelier and the injured person who was crawling underneath it. The person screamed and tried to look for help, but to no vain, as everyone was screaming at the same time.
Feeling pain in her lower abdomen, Ai groaned in pain. She felt like she was dying. Slipping from Ah Si's grip. She rolled on to the floor, clasping on her stomach. Her body was trembling and she held on to Ah Si's legs as she felt the agonizing pain gushing into her.
"Ai!!!" Lu Jung ran to her from the other side and following him was her parents who were in a shocking state too. Ah Qiao held his chest and looked at the scene in a pain. He looks at his wife who was crying loudly. They immediately reached Ah Si and looked at Ai who was panting heavily.
"Ai, sweety, are you okay? Ah Si, what are you looking at? Call the ambulance!" Ah Qiao snarled and looked at Ah Si aggravated. He looked at his daughter who was in deep pain and a tear slipped from his heavy, deep eyes.
"Mother...it hurts." Seeing the girl groaning, Ah Si was taken aback. He bent and looked at his sister in shock. He felt like his heart stopped. With his trembling hand, he held on to Ai's hands.
"Ai, look at me. Take a deep breath. We will reach the hospital soon, okay? Hold on." He didn't know what to do in this situation so he looked at Lu Jung and let him carry her instead. He didn't even notice the chandelier that fell down. All he caught and noticed was his little sister who was pushed away and was now in severe pain.
"Love, are you okay? Where does it hurt?" Lu Jung held on to Ai and carried her out of the place. He paused and looked back at Ah Si. He calmed down his throbbing heart and looked at him while he spoke out.
"Brother... Aizhe.." He apologized with his eyes and turned around, leaving the room. Ah Si looked back and noticed the huge chandelier. He paused in his track and his body suddenly froze.
When Mr. Li caught the brown fringe and the familiar star wrist band, he shouted and ran towards the crowd, pushing around everyone, he soon reached towards her.
"Aizhe!! Aizhe..are you okay? Can you hear me?"
He looked at her messed up hair and the sweat on her face. Tears were oozing from her eyes and she was in true pain. Her whole body was trembling and the chandelier fell right on her legs. Thankfully, It wasn't that big and the chandelier had a huge gap in between, making that part of the chandelier to fall on her legs. Her body was out but her leg was stuck in that huge middle gap of the chandelier.
He screamed for help when suddenly a pair of hands held on to the chandelier. He looked up and noticed a pair of onze eyes. They were ice cold and his white jade hands were trembling slightly. He looked at Aizhe with those eyes and his trembling hands went near her legs.
"Mr. Li, we called for the ambulance and they will arrive soon. We can help you to take this out." Mr. Li's bodyguard and assistant reached out and tried to help.
Feeling the touch on her swollen legs, Aizhe screamed in pain. She looked up and noticed Ah Si. She anxiously looked around for Ai and when she saw that she wasn't around, she apologetically looked back at Ah Si.
"Ai...?" Aizhe asked him meekly. Her eyes were bloodshot and the blood in her leg was oozing very fast. Her breathing wasn't stable and her forehead was damped with her own sweat. She looked tired as her eyes were half-closed. Ah Si looked back at her with a surprised look, wanting to say something, but he was lost for words.
Ah Si noticed her eyes were painfully squeezed tight and his heart felt really heavy.
How could he not notice that Aizhe was the one who pushed Ai and took her place instead? He reached forward and tried to take the chandelier, but it was no easy. It wasn't heavy, but it was filled with heavy ornaments and jewels, making it harder to push it away. The jewels and ornaments were also really sharp making Aizhe wince in pain from time to time.
The more Ah Si moved the chandelier, the more her blood was gushing from her lower body. It looked terrifying to see that.
Mr. Li cried and called out for more help, but when people saw the scene, they shrieked and covered their mouths and looked afar.
On the other side of the room, Lina and Cheng Meng saw the situation and Lina gasped. Lina went forward to help but Cheng Meng looked at her and pulled her back to her seat.
"Mother, what are you doing? We need to help father.." Cheng Meng looked at her and smirked.
"Baby, you need to be a little wiser in this kind of situation. Stay here obediently, okay?" Cheng Meng refilled her empty glass wine and looked at the scene with pleasure in her eyes.
Lina slightly trembled at the sight of her mother and looked at the scene with a heavy heart. Why was she not happy about this?
